Welcome to the Bat Cave! With the blumfeldt bat house you can offer fluttering garden heroes a perfect sheltering and resting place. Here they can simply hang out during the day and rest before fluttering through the night as a shadow - and in a very natural way feed on gnats, mosquitoes, flies and other annoying creepy crawlies. Of course, the bat hotelis also suitable for nesting and as a wintering possibility.
The blumfeldt bat hotel has been manufactured sustainably from untreated fir wood according to the recommendations of the NABU. The box is closed all around, so that it is nicely dark and draft-tight inside. For easy construction and easy access, there are climbing and clawing grooves on the back wall as well as a two centimetre wide floor gap, which also denies access to predators. In the evening you can observe the small fluttering creatures alone or with your children. Always with the good feeling that you have created a great shelter for the endangered animals and contributed something to species preservation.

Der optisch gut in die Natur passende Fledermauskasten macht einen stabilen Eindruck. Mehr ist dazu bisher nicht zu sagen, da der Kasten noch nicht lange im Freien hängt.
The bat box, which looks good in nature, makes a stable impression. Nothing more can be said about this as the box hasn't been hanging out in the open for very long.

Habe noch einen zweiten Kasten eines anderen Herstellers gekauft. Der Hatt eine zusätzliche Schiene an der Öffnung, die diese noch kleiner macht und so vor Feinden und Zugluft schützt. Leider ist das Hochladen von Fotos zu den Rezensionen immer noch nicht möglich, sonst hätte ich ein Foto eines Side-by-side Vergleichs mit reinstellen können. Die Schraube für die Befestigung oben, macht zudem einen recht dünnen Eindruck und muss in jedem Fall noch einmal festgezogen werden, bevor der Kasten montiert wird.
Bought a second box from a different manufacturer. The hat has an additional rail at the opening, which makes it even smaller and thus protects against enemies and drafts. Unfortunately, it's still not possible to upload photos to the reviews, otherwise I could have included a photo of a side-by-side comparison. The screw for the attachment at the top also makes a rather thin impression and must be tightened again before the box is mounted.
