Ich habe diese Karaffe erstmals am 30. September 2020 und nochmals zwei Jahre später, am 20. September 2022, gekauft. Zur ersten Bestellung: Die Karaffe verrichtet seit zwei Jahren nahezu täglich ihre treuen Dienst. Sie besitzt keinerlei Macken, ist absolut dicht und auch das Gummi am Griff ist noch wie am ersten Tag. Kurzum: Einfach perfekt! Dafür volle 5 Punkte, ein vorbildliches Produkt! Zur zweiten Bestellung: Aufgrund meiner Zufriedenheit habe ich die Karaffe nochmals gekauft, dieses mal als Geschenk. Ein paar Wochen später war ich nun bei der Beschenkten Person und - was musste ich überraschend feststellen? Die Karaffe sieht ja ganz anders aus! Auf dem Produktbild kann man erkennen, dass der Deckel leicht schräg nach oben in Richtung des Ausgusses verläuft und die Stelle zum Anfassen schmaler wird. Die erhaltene Karaffe hingegen hat einen absolut gerade Deckel und lässt das Ausgießen an allen Seiten zu, ebenso verjüngt sie sich am Griff nicht. Sie wirkt fast wie ein Zylinder, auch wenn sie am Boden natürlich etwas breiter wird, und dürfte auch etwas mehr Fassungsvermögen besitzen. So weit ist das ja kein Problem, schön sieht sie dennoch aus. Was allerdings ein großes Problem ist: Sie ist nicht zuverlässig dicht! Und damit meine ich nicht, dass sich beim Ausgießen 1-2 Tropfen verirren - ich rede davon, dass bestimmt ein Viertel der Flüssigkeit nicht im Glas, sondern auf dem Tisch landet. Da läuft wirklich ordentlich was zwischen Deckel und Glas raus! Das heißt die erste Karaffe ist Top, die zweite ein Flopp. Somit kann ich leider nur 3 Sterne geben, da die Qualität einfach so verschieden ist. Das finde ich zwar schade, aber 4 Sterne wären mir doch etwas zu viel, dafür dass die Zweite kaum benutzbar ist.

I first bought this carafe on September 30, 2020 and again two years later on September 20, 2022. About the first order: The carafe has been doing its faithful service almost every day for two years. It has no quirks, is absolutely tight and the rubber on the handle is still like it was on the first day. In short: simply perfect! Full 5 points for that, an exemplary product! About the second order: Because I was satisfied, I bought the carafe again, this time as a gift. A few weeks later I was with the recipient and - what did I find out surprisingly? The carafe looks completely different! On the product image you can see that the lid runs slightly diagonally upwards in the direction of the spout and the place to touch becomes narrower. The carafe that has been preserved, on the other hand, has an absolutely straight lid and allows pouring on all sides, nor does it taper at the handle. It looks almost like a cylinder, even if it is of course a little wider at the bottom, and should also have a little more capacity. So far that's not a problem, it still looks nice. However, there is a big problem: It is not reliably tight! And by that I don't mean that 1-2 drops get lost when pouring out - I'm talking about the fact that a quarter of the liquid does not end up in the glass but on the table. Something really runs out between the lid and the glass! That means the first carafe is top, the second a flop. So unfortunately I can only give 3 stars because the quality is just so different. I think that's a pity, but 4 stars would be a bit too much for me, given that the second one is hardly usable.

Die Karaffe sieht dekoriert mit Früchten sehr gut aus und ist ein Hingucker auf dem Tisch. Die Gießfunktion ist tadellos. Der gummierte Griff ist praktisch und vermeidet hässliche Fettfingerflecken auf dem Glas. Insgesamt macht die Glas Karaffe einen wertigen Eindruck.

Wir haben uns nach der 1,6l Ausführung nun auch noch die 1l Karaffe zugelegt. Ausgiesser tropft weder bei dünnen noch sämigeren Flüssigkeiten. Der Gummigriff sorgt für perfekten Halt. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Die Karaffe entspricht der Produktbeschreibung und wird in einer soliden, gut konzeptionierten Verpackung geliefert. Der Gesamteindruck ist sehr positiv. In der täglichen Nutzung erfüllt sie alle Erwartungen. Bislang noch nicht mit Heißgetränken getestet. Sie ist optisch ansprechend und eine Bereicherung für den Alltag. Die manuelle Reinigung funktioniert gut. Obst lässt sich leicht auf dem Spieß positionieren. Für das Aufsetzen des Stoppers am Ende braucht man gute Augen, er hält aber alles am Platz, wenn er befestigt wurde. Insgesamt ein Produkt, dass ich empfehlen kann.

The carafe conforms to the product description and comes in solid, well-designed packaging. The overall impression is very positive. In daily use, it meets all expectations. Not tested with hot drinks yet. It is visually appealing and an enrichment for everyday life. Manual cleaning works well. Fruit is easy to position on the skewer. Putting the stopper on at the end requires good eyesight, but it will hold everything in place once attached. All in all a product that I can recommend.

Die Glaskaraffe von Glaswerk macht echt was her. Optisch auf jeden Fall ein sehr schöner Blickfang, hat schon einige Komplimente hervorgebracht. Die Karaffe ist einwandfrei verarbeitet und leicht auseinander zu nehmen und zu reinigen. Der Stab erfüllt seinen Zweck und hält die Zutaten der Wahl am Platz, ohne das irgendwas umherschimmt. Wer sein Wasser nicht gerne pur trinkt macht hier alles richtig, aber da sich der Stab abschrauben lässt, ist hier für jeden eine Variante der Verwendung dabei. Das i-Tüpfelchen für mich ist, dass es sich bei Glaswerk um ein regionales Unternehmen aus Thüringen handelt. Von mir eine klare Empfehlung

The glass carafe from Glaswerk is really impressive. Visually definitely a very nice eye-catcher, has already produced a few compliments. The carafe is well made and easy to disassemble and clean. The stick does the job, holding the ingredient of choice in place without letting anything squirm around. If you don't like to drink your water pure, you're doing everything right here, but since the stick can be unscrewed, there is a variant of use for everyone. The icing on the cake for me is that Glaswerk is a regional company from Thuringia. A clear recommendation from me

Sehr schöne karaffe das mit den früchten klappt super muss aber bei heißen Getränke etwas anmerken, man kann sie trotz heißer getränke gut anfassen aber dadurch dass das glaß sehr heiß wird habe ich jetzt auf der folie meiner theke einen schönen kreisrunden abdruck, sie lässt sich dann an dem kleinen griff auch nur schwer halten ... sonst liebe ich sie aber für kaltes wasser mit ein paar früchten drinne.

Very nice carafe that works great with the fruit, but something has to be said about hot drinks, you can touch them well despite hot drinks, but because the glass gets very hot, I now have a nice circular imprint on the foil of my counter, it can then be removed the small handle is also difficult to hold ... otherwise i love them but for cold water with a few fruits inside.

Die Karaffe ist an sich super verarbeitet und sieht schick aus. Es wäre schön, wenn man den Deckel/das Plättchen, der sich beim Ausgießen hebt, zum Reinigen komplett abnehmen könnte. Der hebt sich leider nicht so sehr, als dass man da mit ner Bürste oder nem Lappen gut drunterkäme. Gegossen werden kann zwar nur an der entsprechend geformten Stelle des Deckels (also nicht egal, in welche Richtung die Karaffe gekippt wird), funktioniert aber tadellos ohne zu kleckern. Auch, wenn die Karaffe komplett gefüllt ist, kann man sie am verjüngten Bereich sehr gut umfassen und hat genügend Halt.

The carafe itself is super processed and looks chic. It would be nice if the lid/plate, which lifts when pouring, could be completely removed for cleaning. Unfortunately, it doesn't rise so much that you can get under it with a brush or a cloth. Although it can only be poured at the correspondingly shaped point on the lid (i.e. it doesn’t matter in which direction the carafe is tilted), it works perfectly without spilling. Even if the carafe is completely full, you can hold it very well at the tapered area and have enough support.

Gerade bei den aktuell sehr sommerlichen Temperaturen, trinken wir viel Wasser. Um den Wasser etwas Geschmack zu verleihen fügen wir gern frische Minzblätter und/oder Zitronenstücke hinzu. Das funktioniert mit einer dementsprechend Glaskaraffe besser als mit einer gewöhnlichen Wasserflasche und sieht zudem noch dekorativ aus. Leider fing der Edelstahl-Deckel unserer bis dato verwendeten Glaskaraffe im Bereich des Ausgusses an zu vor einigen Tagen an korrodieren zu korrodieren und einen unschönen Rostfleck zu bilden. Also musste eine neue Karaffe her. Entschieden habe ich mich für die Karaffe von Glaswerk zum einen wegen der überwiegend guten Rezensionen zum anderen wegen des integrierten Fruchtspießes entschieden. Die Karaffe wurde in einem stabilen, edel aussehenden Karton verpackt geliefert und mach einen hochwertigen Eindruck. Vorallem der Deckel sieht sehr sauber verarbeitet aus....zumindest lassen sich keinen störenden Spuren von Fügeverfahren oder spanender Bearbeitung erkennen. Die Wandstärke der Glaskaraffe selbst könnte für mein Empfinden etwas größer sein, damit würde sich die Karaffe dann noch etwas stabiler anfühlen. Letztendlich ist das aber Geschmacksache. Besonders praktisch finde ich die Silikonmanschette, weil sie ein Abrutschen verhindert selbst wenn man feuchte Hände hat oder die Außenseite der Karaffe nass (Kondenswasser) ist. Wie gut die Manschette als Hitzeschutz für die Hände funktioniert, wenn sich heiße Flüssigkeit in der Karaffe befindet habe ich noch nicht getestet. Unterm Strich bin ich aber bislang sehr zufrieden mit der Karaffe von Glaswerk. Die Zeit wird zeigen wie gut die Qualität des Produktes wirklich ist.

Especially with the currently very summery temperatures, we drink a lot of water. To add some flavor to the water, we like to add fresh mint leaves and/or lemon wedges. This works better with a corresponding glass carafe than with an ordinary water bottle and also looks decorative. Unfortunately, the stainless steel lid of our previously used glass carafe began to corrode in the area of the spout a few days ago and formed an unsightly rust spot. So a new carafe was needed. I decided on the Glaswerk carafe because of the mostly good reviews on the one hand and the integrated fruit skewer on the other. The carafe was delivered packed in a sturdy, classy-looking box and makes a high-quality impression. The lid in particular looks very cleanly processed....at least there are no disturbing traces of joining processes or machining to be seen. The wall thickness of the glass carafe itself could be a little bigger in my opinion, so the carafe would feel a little more stable. Ultimately, however, that is a matter of taste. I find the silicone sleeve particularly practical because it prevents it from slipping off, even if your hands are wet or the outside of the carafe is wet (condensation). I have not yet tested how well the cuff works as heat protection for the hands when there is hot liquid in the carafe. The bottom line is that I am very satisfied with the carafe from Glaswerk so far. Time will tell how good the quality of the product really is.

Ich habe diese Karaffe als "fruchtigen Wasserspender" gekauft, um nicht immer nur "langweiliges" Wasser trinken zu können. Ursprünglich war ein Produkt der Konkurrenz angedacht, doch habe ich mich letzten Endes hierfür entschieden, um auch ein kleines Unternehmen zu unterstützen und weil ich den schwarzen Gummiring zum Greifen, zu diesem später mehr, sehr praktisch finde. Die Handhabung ist sehr easy und selbsterklärend. Kurz ausgewaschen, Früchte auf den Spieß gesteckt und diesen in den Deckel geschraubt, mit Wasser befüllt, fertig. Die 3 Lippen der Dichtung lassen kein Wasser durch. Sollten diese beim Aufstecken des Deckels nicht gerade sein, hilft es den Deckel noch um 90-180° zu drehen. Danach rutschen die Lippen "in Position". Das Ausgießen funktioniert auch tropffrei und der Deckel öffnet und schließt ganz automatisch dabei. Ich bin bisher sehr zufrieden mit meinem Kauf. Allerdings gibt es einen kleinen Wehrmutstropfen, den ich allerdings erst bemerkt habe, als die Karaffe schon bereit zum Einsatz auf dem Tisch stand: Der schwarze Gummiring zum Greifen der Karaffe ist leider nicht sauber und gerade ausgeschnitten. Das beeinträchtigt natürlich nicht die Funktion, aber einen Stern bei der Qualität muss ich dafür doch abziehen.

I bought this carafe as a "fruity water dispenser" so I can't just drink "boring" water all the time. A competitor's product was originally planned, but I finally decided on this to support a small company and because I find the black rubber ring to grip, more about this later, very practical. Handling is very easy and self-explanatory. Rinse briefly, put fruit on the skewer and screw it into the lid, fill with water, done. The 3 lips of the seal do not let water through. If these are not straight when you put on the lid, it helps to turn the lid by 90-180°. After that, the lips slide "into position". The pouring also works drip-free and the lid opens and closes automatically. I am very happy with my purchase so far. However, there is a small downer, which I only noticed when the carafe was ready for use on the table: Unfortunately, the black rubber ring for gripping the carafe is not clean and has not been cut out straight. Of course, this does not affect the function, but I have to deduct a star for the quality.
