Das Gerät kommt in Schwarz, es ist sehr hochwertig in der Verarbeitung und dem Material. Ein robustes, kompaktes Gerät, die Bedienung ist einfach, das Gerät erklärt sich von selbst. Die Temperatur ist mit einem Drehschalter "Min bis Max" wählbar. Der Tartaren-Grill - der Hut und die Pfännchen für das Überbacken sind antihaftbeschichtet, am Hut befinden sich 20 Häkchen an die das Grillgut eingehängt werden, das macht man am besten mit einer kleinen Grillzange oder mit einer Gabel, man legt das Fleisch auf den Haken und drückt es leicht an, die Häkchen sind sehr spitz, was ein leichtes Einhängen - Aufspießen erleichtert, das Wenden geht genauso gut. Der Rand des Hutes ist erhöht, hier kann bis zu 1 Liter Brühe -Soße eingefüllt werden. (In der Beschreibung steht "400ml", das ist mir aber zu wenig Flüssigkeit.)
Erhitzt wird der Hut mit zwei Heizspiralen, die sich direkt unter dem Hut befinden, für die Raclette- Pfännchen sind Vertiefungen auf dem verchromten Blech, das den Motor abdeckt. Die Pfännchen bieten ausreichend Platz um z.b. das Gemüse zu überbacken, auch der Abstand nach oben ist ausreichend. Das Überbacken erfolgt je nach Hitze sehr schnell, ich dünste Gemüse vorher immer leicht an, beim "Volcano" eignet sich die Brühe zum Andünsten, das spart Zeit und Vorarbeit.
Ich liebe es, wenn wir gemeinsam mit Freunden einen schönen Abend verbringen, dazu gehört für mich immer ein gemeinsames Essen. Mit Tischgrill, Raclette, Fondue und Co. macht es noch einmal so viel Spaß. Schnell hat man das Fleisch mariniert z.b. mit dem Chef Foodlocker, einige Salate, Käse, frisches Baguette und ein guter Wein und schon können die Gäste kommen.
Der Volcano macht optisch und technisch eine sehr gute Figur, er fügt sich mit seinem edlen Design und der ausgefallenen Form, perfekt in jede Tafel ein. Steht er in der Mitte des Tisches, kommt jeder bequem an ihn heran, das Fleisch oder Gemüse kann man ganz leicht auf die Häkchen legen, "Volcano" ist ausgelegt für bis zu 6 Personen.
Der Hut muss zunächst mit etwas Öl bestrichen werden, das Grillen erfolgt schnell, das Grillgut bekommt eine schöne Kruste. In den Rand des Hutes habe ich die gedünsteten Zwiebeln gegeben, super lecker, da der Saft des Grillgutes am Hut entlang in den Rand läuft und den Zwiebeln einen ganz besonderen Pep gibt.
Ich verwende sehr gerne Hähnchenbrustfilet, Rindfleisch oder Fisch, das Fleisch wird zart und saftig, dabei entsteht je nach Fleischsorte oder Fettgehalt ein mäßiger Rauch, dieser ist weder störend noch unangenehm, so dass der Volcano auch im Wohnzimmer oder der Essecke betrieben werden kann, auch auf dem Balkon oder der Terrasse ist er perfekt.
Bei Fondue musste ich immer 2 Geräte aufstellen, damit man nicht zu lange auf das Fleisch warten musste, verwendet man Öl oder Fett darin, dann riecht es im ganzen Haus nach Fett, so dass ich nur noch Brühe verwendet habe, beim Raclette waren auch immer 2 Geräte notwendig, mit dem Volcano ist das nicht notwendig, ein Gerät reicht aus für 4 bis 6 Personen, da immer 20 Stück + ein Stück Fleisch oben auf dem Hut, gegrillt werden können, zur gleichen Zeit brutzeln die Raclette-Pfännchen in der unteren Etage.
Die Reinigung ist einfach, der Hut kann in die Spülmaschine, er ist aber auch einfach mit warmem Wasser und etwas Spüli zu reinigen, angetrocknette Reste einweichen lassen, danach nur noch abspülen. Die Pfännchen und der Hut sind antihaftbeschichtet, beim Spülen mit der Hand muss man aber sehr aufpassen, das man sich nicht an den Häkchen schneidet - ratscht, da sie sehr scharf und spitz sind, also lieber in die Spülmaschine.
Mein Fazit
Der Volcano Tartarengrill von Klarstein bekommt eine Empfehlung von uns, er ist optisch ein Hingucker, das Grillen geht schnell, Überbacken in wenigen Minuten, je nach Höhe der Temperatur. Er ist perfekt für ein gemütliches Beisammensein mit der Familie oder den Freunden, der Aufwand ist gering, man stellt ihn mitten auf den Tisch, Stecker einstecken, einschalten, Brühe einfüllen und das Grillgut bereitstellen. Als Käse zum Überbacken eignet sich Mozzarella oder Raclettekäse sehr gut, auch Bruscetta oder toasten von Baguette gelingt perfekt.
Der Preis ist gut, das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist stimmig.

Mozzarella or raclette cheese is very suitable as cheese for gratinating, bruscetta or toasting baguette is also perfect. The price is good, the price-performance ratio is consistent.
