The space-saving enamel potato storage container by Klarstein in the vintage design of the 40s with the inscription "POTATOES" is not only very solid and large enough to store approx. 1.6 kg of potatoes, but also an absolute eye-catcher in every kitchen. What is often forgotten: Potatoes have a long shelf life especially if they are stored in the dark and with light air circulation. The small ventilation holes in the potato container prevent the formation of germs and the potatoes stay fresh for longer. Naturally, the storage box can also be used for storing other vegetables and can be cleaned quickly and easily with a damp cloth. Measuring approx. 27 x 21 x 23.5 cm (WxHxD), this country-style potato storage container fits comfortably on your sideboard, kitchen counter or in the kitchen cupboard. Nachdem jetzt sämtliche schweren Keramik-Aufbewahrungstöpfe aus den 80-er Jahren kaputt sind, haben wir uns einmal einen modernen Kartoffelaufbewahrungsbehälter gegönnt. Wenn noch Luftlöcher im Deckel wären, wäre vielleicht noch besser. Bis jetzt sind wir zufrieden. Wie das mit der Haltbarkeit ist, wird man sehen. Passt gut in unsere neue weiße Landhausküche. Wir haben gleich noch den Brotkasten nachbestellt.

Now that all the heavy ceramic storage pots from the 80's are gone, we treated ourselves to a modern potato storage container. If there were air holes in the lid it might be even better. So far we are satisfied. How it is with the durability remains to be seen. Fits well in our new white country kitchen. We immediately reordered the bread box.

Der Kartoffeltopf sieht sehr gut aus und die Kartoffeln keimen nicht so schnell. Hatte zuvor eine Kunststoffaufbewahrung-auch extra für Kart., in der die Kartoffeln sehr schnell faulten. Dieser Topf ist wesentlich besser und sieht auch sehr gut aus.

Sehr schöner Topf, so können Kartoffeln dekorativ aufbewahrt werden. Wurzeln bekommen sie leider trotzdem aber sehr viel langsamer als wenn man sie einfach im Netz lässt. In den Topf passt etwas mehr als ein 2,5 Kg Sack. Der Topf ist leicht zu reinigen falls eine Kartoffel doch mal matschig wird.....

Very nice pot, so potatoes can be stored decoratively. Unfortunately, they still get roots much more slowly than if you just leave them in the network. A little more than a 2.5 kg sack fits in the pot. The pot is easy to clean if a potato gets mushy...

Der Kartoffelbehälter sieht toll aus und es passen locker 3 Kilo Kartoffeln rein. Das einzige Problem ist das die Kartoffeln viel schneller austreiben wie zuvor. Sie schimmeln nicht aber sehr schnell entstehen Triebe.

The potato container looks great and you can easily fit 3 kilos of potatoes in it. The only problem is that the potatoes sprout much faster than before. They don't go moldy, but shoots develop very quickly.

Ich freue mich sehr über diesen Kauf und habe mir auch den passenden Brotkasten dazu gekauft. Die Farbe passt super toll zu meiner Küche. Sehr schön und sehr praktisch! Die Qualität ist super und die Größe ist auch optimal, es passt auch noch ein kleiner Beutel Zwiebel rein.

Ich hab viel Freude mit dem Kartoffel-Topf, denn er macht sich gut in der Küche. Ob die Kartoffeln im Topf länger haltbar sind und nicht austreiben, wird sich zeigen. Ich habe den Topf erst 1 Tag in Verwendung. Versand erfolgte gewohnt rasch durch Amazon.

Ich habe mir das ganze Set gekauft, Kartoffel-und Zwiebeltopf und eben den Brotkasten. Bei dem Brotkasten war die Schrift etwas verwischt, weswegen den ich der netten Karte die in dem Kasten war gefolgt bin und habe das Problem mit dem Verkäufer direkt geklärt. Dafür würde ich 10 Sterne geben, wenn ich könnte. Super nett, sofort einen neuen Kasten per Expressversand erhalten und dieser war dann auch absolut in Ordnung. Bin völlig begeistert und die Sachen machen richtig was her in meiner Küche. Eine absolute Kaufempfehlung von mir und an die Verkäufer nochmal ein herzliches Dankeschön.

I bought the whole set, potato and onion pot and the bread box. The writing on the bread box was a bit blurred, which is why I followed the nice card that was in the box and clarified the problem with the seller directly. I would give 10 stars for that if I could. Super nice, immediately received a new box by express delivery and it was then absolutely fine. I'm completely thrilled and the things are really doing something in my kitchen. An absolute purchase recommendation from me and to the seller again a big thank you.

Ich habe mir diesen Kartoffeltopf bestellt da ich ihn sehr ansprechend fand und der Top auch nicht zu groß ist. Es passen nach meinem Empfinden sehr viele Kartoffeln hinein. (Ich kaufe eher die kleineren Baby-Kartoffeln, davon passen bei mir 3 Netze locker hinein) Der Top sieht gut aus, ich konnte keine Mängel erkennen. Der Deckel passt super auf den Topf und schließt dicht. Ich würde den Topf wieder bestellen.

I ordered this potato pot because I found it very appealing and the top is not too big. I think it fits a lot of potatoes. (I tend to buy the smaller baby potatoes, of which 3 nets fit easily) The top looks good, I couldn't see any flaws. The lid fits perfectly on the pot and closes tightly. I would order the pot again.

Der Topf kam gut verpackt an, sieht richtig toll aus und ist gut verarbeitet. Der Topf fasst ca. 2,5KG Kartoffeln und der Deckel lässt sich gut schließen. Allerdings sollte man Kartoffeln bei Raumtemperatur max. 1 Woche in diesem Topf lagern, da diese sonst keimen. Stellt man den Topf an einen kühleren Ort, dann sind es gut 2 Wochen. Wer also diesen Topf mehr aus optischen Gründen kauft, sollte sich klaren darüber sein, das eine langfristige Lagerung nicht gewärleistet ist. Verarbeitung: gut Optik: sehr gut Funktion: mit Einschränkungen nutzbar

The pot arrived well packaged, looks really great and is well made. The pot holds approx. 2.5KG of potatoes and the lid can be closed easily. However, potatoes should be stored in this pot at room temperature for a maximum of 1 week, otherwise they will germinate. If you put the pot in a cooler place, then it's a good 2 weeks. So if you buy this pot more for visual reasons, you should be aware that long-term storage is not guaranteed. Processing: good Appearance: very good Function: usable with restrictions

Habe diese Dosen für die Lagerung der beschriebenen Waren in der Küche geholt. Dafür sind sie vollkommen ausreichend, es passt ordentlich etwas herein. Ich finde den Vintage Lock sehr gut. Allerdings lässt die Verarbeitung etwas zu Wünschen übrig. Die Dosen und Deckel haben an einigen Stellen Dellen ode Kratzer. Dies ändert nichts an der Funktion, welcher weiterhin gegeben ist, allerdings sieht es etwas unschön aus.

Got these tins for storing the goods described in the kitchen. They are perfectly adequate for this, something fits in neatly. I really like the vintage lock. However, the processing leaves something to be desired. The cans and lids have dents or scratches in some places. This does not change the function, which is still there, but it looks a bit ugly.

Nun gut, das Teil ist zwar etwas kleiner als ich es mir vorgestellt habe - aber tatsächlich passt genau der komplette Inhalt eines 4-Kilo-Sacks Kartoffeln hinein (siehe Foto)! Da der Deckel ja gewölbt ist, passt er noch bequem obendrauf und schließt gut ab, da wackelt nix! Klasse!!! Bei dem Preis kann man nicht meckern. Nun bin ich gespannt, ob tatsächlich demnächst nichts mehr keimt oder gammelt - werde ggf. meine Erfahrungen nachtragen. NACHTRAG 06.06.2018: Härtetest bestanden: Nach über 4 Wochen hat Ende Mai (mit denselben Kartoffeln natürlich, nur zwischendurch etwa zur Hälfte verbraucht) immer noch nichts gekeimt! Leider war EINE gammelige Kartoffel drin - über den eigenartigen Geruch in meiner Küche hatte mich aufgrund der aktuellen Außentemperaturen nicht groß gewundert, das ist meistens der Mülleimer. Man sollte also besser so 1 x die Woche den Inhalt prüfen, ob da was vor sich hin fault. Aber für meine Nachlässigkeit kann ja der Hersteller nix. Also nochmal: Daumen hoch - klare Kaufempfehlung!

Well, the part is a bit smaller than I imagined - but in fact the entire content of a 4-kilo sack of potatoes fits in exactly (see photo)! Since the lid is curved, it still fits comfortably on top and closes well, nothing wobbles! Class!!! At the price you can't complain. Now I'm curious to see if nothing will actually germinate or rot in the near future - I'll add my experiences if necessary. ADDENDUM 06.06.2018: Endurance test passed: After more than 4 weeks at the end of May (with the same potatoes of course, only about half used in between) nothing has germinated! Unfortunately there was ONE rotten potato in it - I wasn't really surprised about the strange smell in my kitchen due to the current outside temperatures, it's usually the garbage can. So it is better to check the content once a week to see if something is wrong. But the manufacturer can do nothing for my negligence. So again: Thumbs up - clear purchase recommendation!

Ich bin durch einen Zufall auf die drei Aufbewahrungstöpfe von Granrosi gekommen und dachte mir gleich, dass die sich super in meinem neuen Vitrinenschrank machen würden. Die Töpfe sind alle drei gut verarbeitet und haben eine gute Größe für Ihren Zweck. (Kartoffeln, Zwiebeln, Knoblauch) Durch die runden Öffnungen an der Unterseite kommt genug Luft an die Lebensmittel, sodass Feuchtigkeit gut entweichen kann und nichts schimmelt. Außerdem sind die Sachen vor Lichteinfall geschützt, was ja vor allem bei Kartoffeln echt wichtig ist. Ich hatte bis jetzt meine Zwiebeln und Kartoffeln immer in Plastiktüten und hatte nie darüber nachgedacht, dass es da wirklich bessere Aufbewahrungsmöglichkeiten gibt - und noch dazu so schicke! Durch das Design und die Farbe (hellgrau/altweiß) bringen die Töpfe echt was her. Werde sie auf jeden Fall bei Bekannten weiterempfehlen.

I came across the three Granrosi storage pots by accident and immediately thought that they would look great in my new display cabinet. The pots are all three well made and a good size for their purpose. (Potatoes, onions, garlic) The round openings on the underside allow enough air to get to the food so that moisture can escape easily and nothing gets moldy. In addition, the things are protected from light, which is really important, especially with potatoes. I've always had my onions and potatoes in plastic bags and never thought that there were better ways to store them - and such a chic one at that! Thanks to the design and the color (light grey/antique white), the pots really make a statement. Will definitely recommend her to friends.
