Das Brotbrett ist nur zu empfehlen, schönes Design, Stärke des Brettes ist klasse, nicht so ein“ Brettchen“ und, obwohl es keine Gummifüsse an der Unterseite hat, rutscht es nicht und dreht sich auch nicht auf der Arbeitsfläche! Es ist also schwer genug! Die Verarbeitung ist klasse, keine Splitter oder scharfe Kanten wo man mit Schmiergelpapier nacharbeiten muss. Das habe ich bei vielen Rezessionen anderer Hersteller gelesen. Auch ist der Krümelrost perfekt eingepasst und hat eine seitliche Griffmulde zum entnehmen. Die Auffangschale ist tief genug zur Krümelaufnahme und das Brett hat auch nicht nach irgendwelchem Chemikalien o.ä. gerochen. Zu erwähnen ist auch noch die Umweltfreundliche Verpackung! Es lohnt sich also ein paar Euro mehr auszugeben wenn man sich nicht ärgern will. Das wird für mich auch nicht das letzte Bett sein, das ich hier gekauft habe : Top Produkt!

I can only recommend the bread board, it has a nice design, the thickness of the board is great, not a "small board" and although it doesn't have rubber feet on the bottom, it doesn't slip or turn on the work surface! So it's heavy enough! The workmanship is great, no splinters or sharp edges that you have to work on with sandpaper. I've read that in many reviews of other manufacturers. The crumb tray is also perfectly fitted and has a recessed handle on the side for removing it. The drip tray is deep enough to collect crumbs and the board didn't smell of any chemicals or anything like that. The environmentally friendly packaging is also worth mentioning! So it's worth spending a few euros more if you don't want to get annoyed. This won't be the last bed I buy here: top product!

So macht frühstücken Spass. Brötchen schmieren und dazu noch Wurst und Käsescheiben samt Gürkchen, alles auf einem Brettchen. Eine Wohltat und eine Augenweide. Sehr gute Qualtät und unter fliessendem Wasser kurz abgespült fürs nächste Vesper oder Frühstück bereit. Man sollte noch drauf hinweisen, dass Echtholz regelmässig mit Öl abgerieben werden sollte, damit es nicht springt, dann hat man garantiert viele Jahre Freude daran. Gerne wieder.

This makes breakfast fun. Lubricate rolls and sausage and cheese slices with gherkins, all on a small board. A blessing and a feast for the eyes. Very good quality and just rinsed under running water ready for the next snack or breakfast. It should also be pointed out that real wood should be regularly rubbed down with oil so that it does not crack, then you are guaranteed to enjoy it for many years. Gladly again.

Ich habe mich für die größte Variante entschieden (40x29x1,5) und ich finde die perfekt. Das Brett ist schön leicht und stabil, rutscht nicht auf der Arbeitsplatte. In Benutzung erst seit 2 Tagen, der erste Eindruck ist aber definitiv positiv.

I chose the largest variant (40x29x1.5) and I think it's perfect. The board is nice and light and stable, does not slip on the countertop. In use for only 2 days, but the first impression is definitely positive.

Wir haben nach Brettchen, vor allem für Steaks gesucht, da unsere alten doch schon sehr abgenutzt waren. Bei diesen Bambusschneidbrettern sind wir hängen geblieben und letztendlich auch fündig geworden. Damit auch genug Beilagen zum Steak mit drauf passen, haben wir uns für die XL-Variante entschieden. Und wir sind nicht enttäuscht worden. Tolle Bretter, tolles Material, natürlich nicht für die Spülmaschine, aber lassen sich trotzdem hervorragend und einfach von Hand abwaschen. Kurz mit einem feuchten Schwamm reinigen und zum trocknen hinstellen. Alle Reste, egal ob Steaksaft oder sonstigeEssensreste konnten bisher einwandfrei und restlos entfernt und gesäubert werden. Natürlich sieht man die Einschnitte von den Steakmessern, aber es ist auch ein Naturprodukt und uns sind diese kleinen Einschnitte lieber als immer stumpfe Steakmesser, die auf Porzellan schneiden müssen. Ganz klare Kaufempfehlung *****

We were looking for boards, especially for steaks, since our old ones were already very worn. We got stuck with these bamboo cutting boards and finally found what we were looking for. So that there are enough side dishes to go with the steak, we decided on the XL version. And we have not been disappointed. Great boards, great material, not for the dishwasher of course, but they are still excellent and easy to wash by hand. Clean briefly with a damp sponge and set aside to dry. All residues, whether steak juice or other leftovers, could be removed and cleaned perfectly and completely. Of course you can see the cuts from the steak knives, but it is also a natural product and we prefer these small cuts to blunt steak knives that have to cut on porcelain. Wir sind in der Familie seit längerer Zeit dabei, Kunststoff zu vermeiden bzw. derartige Produkte gegen nachhaltigere aus Holz, Glas und Bambus zu ersetzen. Auch in der Küche haben wir bereits vieles umgestellt, und waren jetzt noch auf der Suche nach guten Schneidbrettern, die die alten aus Plastik ersetzen sollten. Da wir bereits andere Produkte von Bambuswald (Müslischalen, Teller und Küchenhelfer) nutzen, sollten auch die neuen Schneidebretter von dieser Firma sein, also haben wir das 4er-Set Schneidebretter bestellt. Geliefert wird das praktische Set wieder in einer nett gestalteten Verpackung aus Recyclingpapier. Im Set enthalten sind folgende Größen: 28x18cm, 33x23cm, 38x27cm & 40x29cm – im Prinzip für jeden (Küchen-) Zweck das passende Brett, durchaus auch zum Anrichten geeignet. Die Bretter wirken stabil und haben eine angenehm glatte Oberfläche – da ist es sehr praktisch, dass Bambus von Natur aus ohne weitere Behandlungen wasserabweisend und damit in der Küche sehr pflegeleicht ist. Die eingearbeitete Saftrinne, in der sich Flüssigkeiten und Krümel sammeln sollen, ist zwar praktisch, aber leider nicht 100%ig sauber gearbeitet – hier und an der Lochbohrung fanden sich nach dem Auspacken noch einige kleine Spreißel und minimale Holzabplatzungen, nach dem ersten Spülen waren aber fast alle Rückstände entfernt. Die minimalen Beschädigungen gehen in Ordnung, da Bambus eben ein Naturprodukt ist – im Zweifelsfall könnte man mit Schleifpapier nacharbeiten, in unserem Fall war dies aber nicht notwendig. Sehr scharfe Messer hinterlassen natürlich kleine Riefen beim Schneiden, dies ist aber bei Plastik nicht anders bzw. besser. Warum aber Bambus und keine einheimischen Hölzer? Bambus wächst unglaublich schnell (bei Idealbedingungen bis zu 1,6m pro Tag!). Mit einem derart schnellen Wachstum ist es im Prinzip fast unmöglich, den Pflanzenbestand zu gefährden, auch wenn erhöhter Materialbedarf besteht – ein "normaler" Baum braucht für 1,6m Wachstum Jahre! Zudem ist Bambus extrem widerstandsfähig, und beim Anbau müssen kaum Dünger oder Pestizide eingesetzt werden. Perfekt wäre natürlich, wenn der Bambus aus einheimischem Anbau käme – wer weiß, vielleicht ist dies in absehbarer Zukunft ja machbar. Fazit: uns gefallen unsere neuen Schneidebretter aus Bambus sehr gut! Aufgrund der Stabilität des Materials gehen wir von vielen Jahren Nutzung aus – die alten Bretter aus Plastik gehen in den verdienten "Ruhestand". Einen halben Stern Abzug gibt es für die nicht 100%ige Verarbeitung - in der Summe bleibt es dennoch bei 5 Sternen!

In our family, we have been avoiding plastic for a long time and replacing such products with more sustainable ones made of wood, glass and bamboo. We have also already changed a lot in the kitchen and were now looking for good cutting boards to replace the old plastic ones. Since we already use other products from Bambuswald (cereal bowls, plates and kitchen utensils), the new cutting boards should also be from this company, so we ordered the set of 4 cutting boards. The practical set is again delivered in a nicely designed packaging made of recycled paper. The set includes the following sizes: 28x18cm, 33x23cm, 38x27cm & 40x29cm - basically the right board for every (kitchen) purpose, also suitable for serving. The boards appear stable and have a pleasantly smooth surface - it is very practical that bamboo is naturally water-repellent without any further treatment and is therefore very easy to clean in the kitchen. The integrated sap groove, in which liquids and crumbs are supposed to collect, is practical, but unfortunately not 100% cleanly made - here and at the hole drilling, there were still a few small splinters and minimal wood flaking after unpacking, but after the first wash almost all residues were removed. The minimal damage is fine, because bamboo is a natural product - if in doubt, you could rework it with sandpaper, but in our case this was not necessary. Very sharp knives naturally leave small grooves when cutting, but this is no different or better with plastic. But why bamboo and not native wood? Bamboo grows incredibly quickly (up to 1.6m per day under ideal conditions!). With such rapid growth, it is in principle almost impossible to endanger the plant population, even if there is an increased need for material - a "normal" tree needs years to grow 1.6m! Bamboo is also extremely resilient, and hardly any fertilizers or pesticides need to be used when growing it. It would of course be perfect if the bamboo came from local cultivation - who knows, maybe this will be possible in the foreseeable future. Conclusion: we really like our new bamboo cutting boards! Due to the stability of the material, we expect them to last for many years - the old plastic boards are going into well-deserved "retirement". We lose half a star for the less than 100% workmanship - but overall it still remains at 5 stars!

Nach einer Reportage über Plastik haben wir angefangen, die Beschaffenheit unserer Küchenutensilien zu überdenken. Bei der Suche nach einem Ersatz für unsere Plastikbretter, sind wir auf dieses Produkt aufmerksam geworden. Die Lieferung ging sehr zügig und sowohl Verpackung, als auch Inhalt ist von einwandfreier Qualität. Das Brett erfüllt seinen Zweck und sämtliche Essgegenstände lassen sich fantastisch schneiden. Die Ablaufrinne ist praktisch, wenn z. B. Tomaten geschnitten werden, die ja bekanntlich viel Wasser enthalten, damit die Umgebung nicht überschwemmt wird ;-) Gewaschen wird das Brett nur von Hand, um hier das Material nicht unnötig zu strapazieren. Alles in Allem kann ich den Artikel nur weiterempfehlen - gerade auch, wenn man eine plastiklose Alternative sucht.

After a report on plastic, we started rethinking the nature of our kitchen utensils. When we were looking for a replacement for our plastic boards, we came across this product. The delivery was very quick and both the packaging and the content are of impeccable quality. The board serves its purpose and all food items can be cut fantastically. The drainage channel is practical if e.g. B. Tomatoes are cut, which, as is well known, contain a lot of water, so that the surrounding area is not flooded ;-) The board is only washed by hand, so as not to unnecessarily strain the material. All in all I can only recommend the article - especially if you are looking for a plastic-free alternative.

Sehr schönes Schneidebrett. Gemüse schneiden geht auf diesem dicken Schneidebrett sehr gut. Es ist auch ein schönes Küchenbrett, um Tapas zu servieren!
