Wer gerne kocht, weiß wie wichtig es ist, dass Dinge schnell, einfach und intuitiv funktionieren. Und wer Geräte für die Küche entwickelt sollte diesen Grundsatz beherzigen. Ich kann mir ehrlich gesagt nicht erklären, wie man ein Produkt auf den Markt bringen kann, das dem völlig widerspricht und wie es zum Testsierger werden kann ist mir noch schleierhafter. Ein Ein/Aus Schalter ist ein - aus. Man denkt das wäre einfach und man bräuchte dafür keine Bedienungsanleitung. Weit gefehlt! Man muss auf den Tastsensor fünf sec den Finger halten, dann geht das Gerät an. Wie kommt man auf die Idee? Ein versehentliches Einschalten kann ja nicht passieren, das Gerät braucht einen Stromanschluß. Dh. erst wenn das Gerät eingesteckt ist, könnte es überhaupt an gehen. Ich verstehe eine solche Konzeption nicht und dann geht es gerade so weiter. Eigentlich, gibt es nur drei simple Dinge zu wählen, nach dem Einschalten. 1. Wie lange 2. bei welcher Temparatur 3. wann ist das Gargut im Wasser. Wahrscheinlich bin ich zu blöd, aber ich kann mir nicht merken, in welcher Reihenfolge ich welche Taste drücken muss wie lange um die oben genannten Einstellungen vorzunehmen. Mich verwirrt das Bedienkonzept. Und ich nutze das Gerät auch nicht täglich, als dass es sinnvoll wäre es auswendig zu lernen. Warum auch? Ist das als Nutzer und Hobbykoch meine Aufgabe? Weshalb sollte ich mich mit einem verkorksten System anfreunden. Warum gibt es nicht für Temparatur und Zeit je ein Taster. Ein Aus draufdrücken und es ist an. Ein einziges Rädchen ist ok. Was wäre daran zu kompliziert oder zu teuer? Stattdessen müssen sich alle Käufer auf der Welt mit dem Gerät rumschlagen und merken, wann wie lange die Settaste gedrückt werden muss? Wann wie lange die Tasten berührt gehalten werden muss um dem Gerät zu sagen, ja das Gargut ist im Wasser und auch ja ich weiß dass die Zeit abgelaufen ist. Mir wäre das als Entwickler und Hersteller peinlich. Wem das alles nicht zu kompliziert ist und es als eine geistige Herausforderung ansieht seinen Kopf fit zu halten, der ist mit dem Gerät gut bedient. Vorausgesetzt er hat einen tiefen, tiefen Topf. Meine waren alle zu flach. Überraschend angenehm war die Lautstärke. Ich hatte mir es lauter vorgestellt.

I'm probably too stupid, but I can't remember in which order I have to press which button for how long to make the above settings. The operating concept confuses me. And I don't use the device every day, so it would make sense to memorize it. why? Is that my job as a user and hobby cook? Why should I make friends with a messed up system. Why isn't there a button for temperature and time? Push off and it's on. A single cog is ok. What would be too complicated or too expensive? Instead, all buyers in the world have to deal with the device and remember when to press the set button and for how long? When and how long the buttons have to be touched to tell the device yes the food is in the water and also yes I know that the time has expired. As a developer and manufacturer, that would be embarrassing for me. If all this is not too complicated and sees it as a mental challenge to keep your head fit, the device is a good choice.
