Best air in the kitchen: although the Klarstein Down Under cooker hood does not have to hide, it does so anyway and disappears into the kitchen without edges. From there, it sweeps away steam and haze that arise from cooking.

With 190 W motor power in the extract air mode, the Klarstein Down Under cooker extractor hood ensures that there is no haze in small to large kitchens. Three output levels deliver up to 590 m³ of exhaust air per hour and specifically adapt the built-in hood to the respective cooking volume. The special highlight of the only 60 cm wide and 30 cm deep Down Under is its ability to be virtually invisible in the kitchen. Unlike most built-in hoods, it disappears into the kitchen hanger over the stove and only shows its elegant underside of brushed stainless steel. This is also the uncomplicated operating section with which the 3-stage ventilation and lighting are controlled. The switchable light strips with 2 x 2 W LED lamps ensure good visibility on the cooking surface.

Inconspicuous powerhouse: the Klarstein Down Under built-in hood is almost invisible despite strong performance, so nothing disturbs the impression of your kitchen.

The extractor hood can be converted to recirculation mode with the aid of activated carbon filters.

Please note that the hood is delivered without exhaust hose.

Da wir keinen passenden Dunstabzug für unsere Kochinsel gefunden haben, haben wir uns für diese Lösung entschieden. Mein Mann bastelt zum Glück gerne mit Holz, wodurch die Verkleidung für den Dunstabzug unserer Vorstellung angepasst werden konnte. Der Wasserdampf wird bei uns in der Holzbalkenverkleidung nach außen geleitet. Die Montage hat soweit problemlos funktioniert.

Since we couldn't find a suitable extractor hood for our cooking island, we decided on this solution. Luckily, my husband likes to do handicrafts with wood, which allowed us to adapt the paneling for the extractor hood to our ideas. With us, the water vapor is conducted to the outside in the wooden beam cladding. The assembly has worked without any problems.

Lieferzeit : Na, ja, geht so. Um die Haube einbauen zu können, musste ein entsprechender Ausschnitt, angepasst an die Maße der neuen Haube hergestellt werden, was völlig normal und o.k. ist. Daher konnte auch erst nach dem Einbau der erste richtige Probelauf stattfinden. Und der war grausig. Das ganze Gerät samt Gehäuse, Motor und Zubehör dröhnte und vibrierte furchterregend. Auch die Lautstärke war nicht auszuhalten. Nun musste das Ganze wieder ausgebaut und auf eigene Kosten zurück geschickt werden. Meine Erfahrung zum Service der Firma nach meinem entsprechenden Bericht war der: 2 Wochen vergingen. Dann kam eine neue Abdunsthaube und eine Rechnung dazu. Kurze Zeit später kam eine 3. Abzugshaube per dhl. die ich nun gleich wieder zurück senden musste. Mein doppelt einbehaltenes Geld erhielt ich erst eine weitere Woche später. Fazit: Kommunikation mit der Lieferfirma eine Katastrophe !

In order to be able to install the hood, a corresponding cut-out had to be made, adapted to the dimensions of the new hood, which is completely normal and ok. Therefore, the first real test run could only take place after the installation. And that was horrible. The whole device including the housing, motor and accessories roared and vibrated terribly. The volume was also unbearable. Now the whole thing had to be removed again and sent back at your own expense. My experience of the company's service according to my corresponding report was this: 2 weeks passed. Then came a new fume hood and an invoice. A short time later, a 3rd hood came by DHL. which I had to send right back. I did not receive my double withheld money until another week later. Conclusion: communication with the delivery company a disaster!

This is noisy. It's not 61dB on the lowest setting, unless that's measured at 1m distance. Which is fine, but nobody stands 1m from their extraction hood. From 30cm (about how far you'll stand while cooking, it's quite noisy). It's also going to be screwed into position, so it'll vibrate whatever it's screwed into. So you might hear a low buzz in neighbouring rooms. For the price, it's fine, and it does the job. It would be good if it came with, or an option of 3m of tubing to the kitchen extraction place that would be brilliant. Otherwise you gotta visit the local hardware store and depend on them having the right clamps and tubing. If quietness is important to you, then you'll have to spend the money for the really low dB ones. 61dB isn't quite. Also, what would be nice is an auto-off after 15 mins function. But for this price it's okay that it's not there.

Die Dunstabzugshaube von Klarstein passt super in den o.g. Kaminabzug, ist sehr leistungsstark und geräuscharm sowie gut zu reinigen. Ich bin mit der Dunstabzugshaube sehr zufrieden und kann diese für o.g. Abzüge empfehlen.
