I love this heater! It takes a long time to heat up, but if you turn the dial down to minimum to keep the chill off the place overnight, and turn it back up during the day, it doesn't take long at all for the room to come back up to temperature.

I have a large-ish lounge/diner, two rooms joined by just an archway, and this one small heater keeps the whole area nice and snug and warm, and that's with the dial only turned up to the second mark.

Set up was a breeze, just a couple of screws to attach the feet, and that's it. There was zero smell upon first use, as I have read other people experienced.

In all, I am amazed at how one small heater can be so effective, you just have to be patient for it to come up to temperature initially, and don't turn it off completely at night, just turn the dial down to the defrost setting.

Really pleased with this heater. It warms a space really quickly, and retains and emits heat even after it's switched off. I really like the retro look of it too.

It arrived really well packaged, and really quickly. It was easy to set up - just attach the feet and good to go. It did give off a bit of a smell as some other reviewers have said. But it smelled like baking bread to me so I quite liked it!

A couple of considerations if you're thinking of buying one - it is quite heavy so not suitable for moving from room to room (at least not for me as I'm quite tiny).

And the switch and dial are low down on the back which isn't a problem for me, but might be a consideration for other people.

We bought one of these to try out first and were pleased it with so got a second one. May even be buying a third as the weather gets colder. We're using these in some rooms, in conjunction with some IR panels fixed to the walls in other rooms. So far really pleased with how it's heating the house.

Nach Erhalt habe ich die Heizung in der Garage für 3h laufen lassen. Vor Erstbenutzung in der Wohnung zu empfehlen, damit der Geruch, der bei Erstbenutzung entsteht, verfliegt. Ansonsten sind wir sehr zufrieden. Er heizt unseren 20qm Raum sehr gut aus. Das schöne ist die örtliche Beweglichkeit, da man ihn so stellen kann, dass man gerade das gute Wärmeempfinden bekommt. Wie in anderen Rezensionen zu lesen, muss ich bestätigen, dass das Gerät beim Heizen stinkt. Bisher hab ich es nur ein paar Stunden eingeschaltet. Aber es stinkt noch immer. Also, am besten ist, wenn man das Gerät zu einer Jahreszeit ein paar mal aufheizt, wenn man noch gut lüften kann, ohne zu "erfrieren" ... Aber vom Handling, der Heizleistung und wie lange es die Hitze abstrahlt, wenn man schon ausgeschaltet hat, ist gut.

As read in other reviews, I have to confirm that the device stinks when heating. I've only had it on for a few hours so far. But it still stinks. Well, it's best if you heat up the device a few times at a time of year when you can still ventilate well without "freezing to death" ... Das Gerät heizt erst nach längerer Aufwärmphase. Dauert ca. 45 Minuten bis ein Raum (8qm) fühlbar erwärmt wird. Wenn man das Gerät ca 2m vom Objekt entfernt aufstellt kommt Wärme ganz gut an... Aber mehr nicht. Nicht empfehlenswert m. E.

Nach dem ersten Einschalten begann das Gerät ordentlich zu stinken, bis die Schutzschicht auf der Kermik verdampft war (vielleicht lieber draußen machen). Danach steht ein mobiles Infrarot-Heizgerät zur Verfügung, dass mit einem Raumthermostaten ausgerüstet ist. Dieser schaltet die volle Leistung von ca. 1250 Watt ein und aus. Die Zeiten bis zum nächsten Schaltvorgang werden durch die große Keramikplatte abgefedert, so dass gleichbleibende Strahlungshitze zu spüren ist. Das Gerät sieht durch die Kupfer-Optik etwas gemütlich-altmodisch aus. Die Funktion ist top! Wir würden das Gerät jedem Lüfter-System oder Blechmodul vorziehen und es wieder kaufen ! Sehr empfehlenswert.

After that, a mobile infrared heater is available that is equipped with a room thermostat. This switches the full power of approx. 1250 watts on and off. The times until the next switching process are cushioned by the large ceramic plate, so that constant radiant heat can be felt. The device looks a bit cosy, old-fashioned due to the copper look. The function is great! We would prefer the device to any fan system or sheet metal module and would buy it again! Highly recommended.

Für ein so kompaktes und handliches Gerät hat es eine super starke Leistung. Der Stein macht das Gerät zwar entsprechend schwerer, aber durch das "nachheizen" des aufgeheizten Steins kann man das Gerät nach relativ kurzer Zeit abschalten und hat dann noch lange Wärmestrahlung aus dem erhitzten Stein. Sehr standfest durch den soliden Fuß. Gesamtgewicht ist akzeptabel, da man es noch ziemlich einfach bewegen kann, z.B. wenn man von einem Raum zum anderen geht. "Auslüften" (=eine Stunde heizen im Freien) vor der ersten Nutzung in der Wohnung ist dringend zu empfehlen, damit der erste Geruch verfliegen kann. Insgesamt ganz klare Kaufempfehlung (wir haben es im Angebot für 99 EUR gekauft).

Der Infrarotheizkörper ist ganz toll,schöne Wärme tolles Design hält was er verspricht,am Anfang stinkt und Qualmt er aber nur das erste Mal danach nicht mehr die Luft ist angenehm,einziges mango hab gleich noch einen gekauft 30,00 Euro teurer hätt ich ihn für den alten Preis bekommen hätte ich nochmal 2 gekauft aber so nicht da trag ich den einfach dahin wo er gebraucht wird.

Sehr schneller Versand. Gerät macht einen sehr soliden Eindruck. Die Mobilität ist praktikabel. Es braucht zwar eine Weile, ehe die nötige Wärme erreicht ist. Sie ist aber sehr angenehm und wohlig. Über die Haltbarkeit kann ich - nach der Kürze der Nutzung - nichts sagen. Ich hoffe, dass sie bei dem Preis viele Arbeitsstunden leistet. Das Gerät scheint aber sehr solide verbaut und verarbeitet. Es erfüllt den Zweck, den es erfüllen soll, auch wenn der Stromverbrauch insgesamt recht hoch ist. Danke!

Die schöne Marmorplatte im Inneren des Gerätes benötigt einige Zeit um sich aufzuheizen, dafür hält sie aber die Wärme noch lange nach dem Abschalten. Die Heizung lässt sich auch programmieren und mit Zeituhr einstellen. Das Design ist ansprechend, so dass man die Heizung auch bein Nichtbenutzung im Raum als Hingucker stehen lassen kann.

Haben die kleine Heizung in der Gartenlaube im Einsatz. Sie macht einen guten Job. Das beste aber ist: Man kann das Gitter anfassen ohne sich zu verbrennen, auch wenn die Heizung lange Zeit auf höchster Stufe läuft. Gerade mit Kindern ein absoluter Pluspunkt. Das Design ist auch gelungen. Fünf Sterne von mir!

Have the small heater in the gazebo in action. She's doing a good job. But the best thing is: you can touch the grille without burning yourself, even if the heating is running at the highest level for a long time. An absolute plus, especially with children. Am besten draußen "einbrennen ", setzt sonst die ganze Wohnung unter Qualm. Ich frage mich warum das sein muss. Lässt dann aber merklich nach. Ein wenig Geruch bleibt aber trotzdem. Was soll's, ein Kamin riecht auch immer und es wird geliebt. Da hat auch keine Angst vor Giftstoffen. Es verbreitet Atmosphäre und eine sehr angenehme Wärme, ist transportabel und wertig. Ich kann das Produkt empfehlen, ist auch gut verpackt und heile angekommen . Über den Kundenservice kann ich nichts sagen, wurde nicht in Anspruch genommen.

Für meinen fast 30 qm2 Kellerraum dauert es ca. 45 Minuten bis dieser warm ist. Farblich passt das roségold toll dazu, außerdem ist er schmal, sodass er nicht viel Platz wegnimmt und leise, kann ihn also während der Massage laufen lassen, ohne dass er stört. Würde ich für den Preis auf jedem Fall wieder kaufen. Für meinen Gebrauch perfekt

The rose gold color goes well with it, it's also narrow so it doesn't take up much space and it's quiet, so you can let it run during the massage without being annoying. Am Anfang denkt man, hm- müffelt (nur die ersten zwei Mal), wird nicht sehr heiß und warm ist es auch nicht?! Dann kommt man das erste Mal von einem anderen wieder in den Raum, wo diese Heizung steht, und denkt - was für eine angenehme Wärme! Der ganze Raum wird warm und nicht nur die Luft vor dem Strahler. Sehr gut.

Then you come back into the room where this heater is for the first time from someone else and think - what a pleasant warmth! The whole room gets warm and not just the air in front of the heater. Der Hund liebt es. :) Die Wärme ist angenehm, wie Feuerkamin. Sehr warm - eher für klein Raum, bis 16m2. 20 Grad für 30m2. Für 1300 Watt macht viel Arbeit und Luft ist nicht so trocken. Bin zufrieden, benutze es jeder Tag. Es ist auch hübsch und klein. Gut für gefrorene Menschen nach Winter Spaziergang, macht schnell warm.

The dog loves it. :) The warmth is pleasant, like fire fireplace. Very warm - rather for small rooms, up to 16m2. 20 degrees for 30m2. For 1300 watts it's a lot of work and the air isn't that dry. I am satisfied, use it every day. It's also pretty and small. Good for frozen people after winter walk, warm up quickly.

Rauchentwicklung bei Erstbenutzung, wäre schön gewesen wenn Klarstein davor gewarnt hätte :/ Danach war ich eigentlich voll und ganz zufrieden, leider aber sind mir nach keine 3 Woche ein paar große und viele kleine Risse im Stein aufgefallen. Da ich befürchtet hatte, dass der Stein dann irgendwann einfach zerfällt, habe ich ihn zurück geschickt. Leider habe ich niemanden beim Kundenservice erreicht, hätte einfach gern umgetauscht, so konnte ich über Amazon nur refunden :/ Warum wurde mir auch nun klar, da ich Geld zurück erhalten habe und neu bestellen wollte, weil wie gesagt ich sehr zufrieden war bis auf die Risse: Gerät kostet nun 150€ statt 135€.... Naja ich investiere die 15€ extra und hoffe dass der Stein ganz bleibt. Wenn nicht muss ich ihn leider wieder zurück schicken. Hoffentlich ist irgendwann ein Modell dabei, welches keine Risse im Stein hat ^^

Smoke development when using it for the first time, would have been nice if Klarstein had warned against it :/ After that I was actually completely satisfied, but unfortunately I noticed a few large and many small cracks in the stone after less than 3 weeks. Since I was afraid that the stone would simply disintegrate at some point, I sent it back. Unfortunately I couldn't reach anyone at customer service, I would have simply liked to exchange it, so I could only get a refund via Amazon :/ Why did I realize now that I had received my money back and wanted to order a new one, because as I said I was very satisfied except for the Cracks: The device now costs €150 instead of €135.... Well, I'll invest the extra €15 and hope that the stone will remain intact. If not I'll have to send it back. Hopefully one day there will be a model that has no cracks in the stone ^^

Die Heizung heizt unser Wohnzimmer (22qm) und das anliegende offen stehende Schlafzimmer (15qm) bei derzeit 6 Grad Außentemperatur vollkommen aus. (Die Hausaußenwand ist wärmegedämmt). Ich bin mit dieser Heizung super zufrieden. Meine jahrelang genutzte (teure) Nachtspeicherheizung habe ich diese Saison noch nicht eingeschaltet. Wenn diese Infrarotheizung von Klarstein auch bei Minusgraden so gut funktioniert, was ich auch annehme, werde ich die Nachtspeicherheizung nicht mehr nutzen und ausgeschaltet lassen.

The heating completely heats our living room (22sqm) and the adjoining open bedroom (15sqm) at an outside temperature of 6 degrees. (The outer wall of the house is thermally insulated). I am extremely happy with this heater. I haven't turned on the (expensive) night storage heater that I've used for years this season. If this infrared heater from Klarstein works so well even in sub-zero temperatures, which I assume, I will no longer use the night storage heater and leave it switched off.

artikel heizt gut,am anfang wie alle etwas ausrauchen etc, dann im raum im einsatz ,ca 15m2 recht aus hier um bei ca 5-10 grad gemütlich zu haben ,eher auf unterer stufe ,ob und wie genau das thermostat ist hab ich nicht geprüft ,hauptsache es geht ,okay gerät erwärmt sich stark ,eher vorsichtig am oberen traggriff anfassen, gewicht eher schwer aber ist ein standgerät eben!! ansonsten hoffe ich das es lange geht ,den es sieht hier sehr gut aus ,da es genau vor meinem holzofen seht(am bodenblech) und nicht störrt! lg

Schnelle Lieferung gute Verpackung keine Lieferschäden das vorab.Das Heizgerät sieht nicht nur gut aus es heizt auch ganz prima und hat wirklich eine gute Stunde nachheiz-Zeit. Vom Gewicht her eine gute Standfestigkeit. So ein Gerät kann ich nur weiter Empfehlen.

Ich habe mich in das Design verliebt. Beim ersten Einschalten war meine komplette Wohnung voller komisch riechende Rauch- also nicht erschrecken. Wenn die Heizung ein paar Wochen aus bleibt und dann wieder eingeschaltet wird, ist ein leichter Geruch zu riechen. Meine Stromkosten sind enorm in die Höhe geraten, ordentliche Nachzahlungen mit Erhöhung der Einstufung, dass hätte ich nicht gedacht und ich bin sehr sparsam. Ich hatte die Heizung nicht täglich an und auch nur aufgeringer Stufe. Die Wärme ist dennoch sehr angenehm. Für ab und zu ist es okay aber nicht für "dauerhafte" Benutzung.

I fell in love with the design. When I first switched it on, my entire apartment was full of funny smelling smoke - so don't be alarmed. If the heating is left off for a couple of weeks and then turned back on, there is a slight odor. My electricity costs have risen enormously, regular back payments with an increase in the classification, I would not have thought that and I am very economical. I didn't have the heating on every day and only on a lower level. The warmth is still very pleasant. It's okay for occasional use, but not for "permanent" use.

wunderschön und es funktioniert.. Ich heize dieses 12m2 tiny house damit... dauert ein wenig bis es aufgeheizt ist.. aber wenn die ca 20c erreicht sind kann ich das Gerät auf eine niedrige Stufe stellen und es hält dann schon die Temperatur... und vor allem geht die Feuchtigkeit schön raus... bei dem versuch die hütte mit einem petroliumofen zu heizen lief das Kondenswasser an den Scheiben runter... alles schwitzte... also eine klare Kaufempfehlung für klarstein

Da der Winter bisher recht mild war konnte ich die Infrarotheizung kaum unter schwierigen Bedingungen ausprobieren, doch bisher hat sie einen kleinen, 12m2 großen Raum schnell erwärmt.

Das Gerät gefällt mir sehr gut. Leider stinkt und qualmt es wenn es die ersten male angeschaltet wird. Ich musste lange lüften. Dann habe ich es an die offene Terassentür gestellt. Es lässt sich gut einstellen, heizt schnell hoch und passt in jeden Raum. Ich würde mich wieder für das Gerät entscheiden. Punktabzug wegen der Geruchsentwicklung.

Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit der Heizung,man kann sie überall und unkompliziert aufstellen und sieht auch noch schön aus. Die Heizung macht eine Wohlige wärme. Sie ist sehr gut verarbeitet und bringt sehr schnell Leistung,wenn sieh voll Power hat ,kann mann sie runter regeln und sie hält die wärme. Das spart auch noch Energie. ich kann es nur Empfehlen.

Den gebe ich nicht mehr her. Zuvor hatte ich nur diese Heizlüfter, die irre viel Lärm machen, zudem sehr viel Staub aufwirbeln und den Dreck durch die Bude fegen. Zudem hält die Wärme von Heizlüftern schlichtweg nicht, man muss ständig nachheizen, um annähernd irgendeine Wärme zu spüren. Dafür war der Stromverbrauch aber nicht gerade ohne. Und dann entdeckte ich diesen hier! Keine Geräusche mehr, kein Lärm, kein Dreck, dafür aber eine qualitativ hochwertige Wärme, wie ich sie nur von Kaminen kennen. Diese Wärme strahlt durch alles durch. Sie müssen dem guten Stück eine Vorlaufzeit von 30 min einräumen. Er braucht etwas, um in Fahrt zu kommen, aber dann haben sie eine Wärme, die ihres Gleichen sucht. Ich benutzte den Strahler vor allem im Schlafzimmer, weil ich es gerne warm habe, wirklich warm - 25 Grad. Das geben die Heizungen einfach nicht her, besonders in der Übnergangszeit von Frühling auf Sommer oder vom Herbst zum Winter. Da friert es mich dann zu Hause zu sehr. Ich habe einen Raum von 22m² zudem ebenfalls komplett warm bekommen. Wer hier was anderes behauptet, der lügt einfach. Auch die sinnfreie Rezension von wegen Gartenhäuschen nicht warm bekommen...das riecht nach Neidbewertung eines Konkurrenten, aber nicht nach einer Bewertung des Produktes, wie es wirklich ist. Perfekt. Ich liebe es, tolles Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, sieht super aus und gefällt auch den Katzen super!

Even the pointless review of the garden shed not getting warm... that smells like the envy rating of a competitor, but not an evaluation of the product as it really is. Perfect. Love it, great value for money, looks great and the cats love it too!

Gerät macht durchaus einen soliden Eindruck. Die Aufheizzeit ist relativ lang. Nach dem Ausschalten des Gerätes gibt es eine "Nachheizzeit", die eingebaute Marmorplatte gibt Wärme ab. Allerdings nicht so lange wie in der Beschreibung vermerkt....

Kalte Jahreszeit, 43m2 Wohnung, Altbau große Gebäude, alte Heizung zur Unterstützung geholt super Sache, am Anfang würde ich empfehlen auf niedrigster Stufe mal a Zeit laufen lassen nit gleich voll aufdrehen. Riecht am Anfang bissl nach nassem Stein aber nit schlimm kaum spürbar, später kann mal voll aufdrehen, am rande schaut gut aus hab bloß nit auf die Größe geschaut hab mi bissl erschrocken als ich es ausgepackt hab...

Cold season, 43m2 apartment, old building, old building, old heating brought in to support great thing, at the beginning I would recommend letting it run at the lowest level and not turning it up to full. Smells a bit like wet stone at the beginning but not bad hardly noticeable, later you can turn it up full, looks good on the side I just didn't look at the size I was a little shocked when I unpacked it...

War sehr gut verpackt und der Versand war schnell. Am Anfang war der Geruch vom Stein etwas intensiv, aber war schnell verflogen. Leider ist bei zweiter Benutzung der Stein gerissen. Schränkt die Funktion aber nicht ein. Habe nur ein bisschen Angst die Heizung in einen anderen Raum zu tragen, nicht dass ich wo anstoße und mir der Stein bricht. Hoffe ich muss nicht reklamieren...

It was packaged very well and shipping was fast. At first the smell from the stone was a little intense, but quickly dissipated. Unfortunately, the stone cracked on the second use. Die Heizung ist relativ groß schwer und macht daher einen stabilen Eindruck, welcher sich im Nachhinenein auch bestätigt hat. Lieferung: Sie wurde dreifach verpackt ( Karton, Karton, Styropor) geliefert, hierdurch war sie bestens geschützt und kam trotz einiger Lädierungen am Karton makellos bei mir an. Es werden hier die Heizung, zwei Füße mit Schrauben und eine Bedienungsanleitung geliefert. Inbetriebnachme ich habe mir als erstes die Gebrauchsanweisung durchgelesen und im Anschluss die Füße montiert. Danach habe ich die Heizung eingeschaltet und langsam hochgeregelt. Nach 30 Minuten zeigte sich kein unangehnehmer Geruch , oder ähnliches worauf ich die Heizung höher gedreht habe. als ich nach 20 Minuten wieder in den Raum kam, war dieser voller Rauch.. Ich habe sie sofort ausgeschaltet und abkühlen lassen. Es war aber kein ersichtlicher Grund für den Nebel vorhanden. ich Habe sie dann herausgebracht und nochmal für ein paar Stunden auf der Terrasse betrieben. Der Nebel taucht nun nicht mehr auf. Sie riecht allerdings noch etwas. Da dieses meiner Ansicht nach nicht sein darf ziehe ich hierfür 2 Sterne ab und gebe ihr noch 3, da sowohl die Heizleistung, als auch die Wärmespeicherung super sind.

But there was no apparent reason for the fog. I then brought them out and ran them again on the patio for a few hours. The fog no longer appears. She still smells something though. Since in my opinion this should not be the case, I deduct 2 stars for this and give it 3, because both the heat output and the heat storage are great.
