The elegant Klarstein Castillo Fireplace Heater creates realistic flame effects in every room. The soft light realistically mimics flames and glowing logs and immediately spreads a cosy, romantic atmosphere.

The flames of the halogen lighting flicker independently of the heating function even on balmy summer nights for a romantic feel at any time of year. If desired, the switchable fan heater, which heats rooms with a choice of 1000 or 2000 watts, spreads pleasant warmth in rooms up to 40 m². The electric fireplace is operated directly at the fireplace: the switches for this are discreetly hidden behind a stove flap cover. They can be used to switch on the flame effect, heating and ventilation. The temperature and intensity of the flame effect can be controlled via 2 rotary controls.

Schöner Kamineffekt mit toller Optik! Heizung wird am Ort sehr heiss, kann nicht auf Teppich verwendet werden! Habe es jedoch vor allem als Effekt gekauft und dafür ist er perfekt!

Beautiful chimney effect with great optics! Heater gets very hot locally, can't be used on carpet! But I bought it mainly as an effect and it's perfect for that!

Ofen funktioniert jetzt auch nach einem Jahr tadellos. Heizt schnell den Raum auf. Die Lüftung hört man, stört aber nicht, da die Umgebungsgeräusche meist lauter sind. Schöne Optik. Hab auch schon erlebt, das manche behutsam an die Scheibe fassen, um die Wärme zu spüren, weil die Flammen im ersten Moment echt aussehen. :)

The oven is now working perfectly even after a year. Quickly heats up the room. You can hear the ventilation, but it doesn't bother you, since the ambient noise is usually louder. Beautiful optics. I've also experienced that some people carefully touch the pane to feel the heat because the flames look real at first. :)

Das Gerät wärmt recht gut kleine Räume. Gemütliche Optik. Leider wie bei jedem Heizlüfter recht laut. Aber z.B. im Sommer ohne Wärmfunktion sicherlich sehr gemütlich...

The device heats small rooms quite well. Cozy look. Unfortunately, as with any fan heater, quite loud. But e.g. in summer without heating function certainly very comfortable...

Nach dem Auspacken und anschließen an die Steckdose war ein klackendes Geräusch in gleichmäßigen Abständen von ca. 3 Sekunden zu hören. So wäre er nicht zu gebrauchen. Um dem Fehler auf die Spur zu kommen, habe ich die Schrauben der Rückwand gelöst und schon war das Klacken weg. Die Schrauben dann nur locker wieder angezogen und nun erfreuen wir uns an dem herrlichen Flammenspiel und der damit verbundenen Gemütlichkeit. Wir nutzen den Kamin nur für die Optik und nicht zum Heizen.

After unpacking and connecting to the socket, a clicking noise was heard at regular intervals of about 3 seconds. He would be useless like that. To track down the error, I loosened the screws on the rear panel and the clicking was gone. The screws are only loosely tightened again and now we enjoy the wonderful play of flames and the coziness associated with it. We only use the fireplace for looks and not for heating.

Sogar in der Nutzung von 900Watt wird ein großes Zimmer ziemlich schnell aufgeheizt, habe zudem noch eine Bildheizung, die ab da übernimmt wenns erstmal aufgewärmt ist, weil ich die Heizungen eigentlich nur abends nutze und tagsüber sind alle aus. Habe leider ansonsten nur Nachtspeicheröfen, die sind seitdem ich diese habe ganz aus (die heizten auch nicht mal ansatzweise so gut, und waren echte Stromfresser), und es wird für Leute die mit Strom heizen müssen letztlich um einiges billiger.

Even when using 900 watts, a large room is heated up fairly quickly, I also have a picture heater that takes over from there once it's warmed up, because I actually only use the heaters in the evening and they're all off during the day. Unfortunately, I only have night storage heaters, which have been completely off since I got them (they didn’t even heat that well and were real power guzzlers), and it will ultimately be a lot cheaper for people who have to heat with electricity.

Der Elektrokamin kann mit 950 Watt oder der doppelten Leistung 1900 Watt betrieben werden, pustet dann aber nur unten gerade die heiße Luft in den Raum, obwohl es so aussieht, als ob er auch an den Seiten nach vorne erwärmen würde. Sitzt man also direkt davor, ist es fast schon zu heiß. Sitzt man seitlich, dann spürt man wenig von der Wärme. Für diese Leistung ist das Gerät sehr groß. Die abgebildeten Holzstücke sehen dazu eher unecht aus.

The electric fireplace can be operated with 950 watts or twice the power 1900 watts, but then only blows the hot air straight into the room at the bottom, although it appears as if it is also heating up the sides towards the front. So if you sit right in front of it, it's almost too hot. If you sit sideways, you don't feel much of the heat. For this performance, the device is very large. The pieces of wood shown look rather unreal.

Auf Anregung meiner Tochter habe ich mir den "Castillo" gekauft. In erster Linie um eine gemütliche Atmosphäre zu schaffen - was zweifelsohne gelingt. Die Verarbeitung ist gut, das Gerät wirkt wertig. Da mein Schwerpunkt auf den "Kaminofen-Effekt" liegt, kann ich mit dem meiner Meinung nach deutlich zu lauten Gebläse leben. Würde ich mit dem Gerät kontinuierlich heizen wollen, hätte ich es zurück gegeben. Ich sitze ca. 4-5 Meter von entfernt, und fühle mich beim TV-schauen gestört, und muss das TV-Gerät entweder deutlich lauter machen, oder mit dem "Störgeräusch" leben. Ich habe auch gelesen, dass es in Schlafzimmern genutzt wird, was schwer vorstellbar ist, aber jeder empfindet "Geräusche/Lärm" wohl anders - oder man gewöhnt sich dran. Für mich keine Option.

At the suggestion of my daughter, I bought the "Castillo". First and foremost to create a cozy atmosphere - which undoubtedly succeeds. The processing is good, the device looks valuable. Since my focus is on the "stove effect", I can live with the blower, which in my opinion is clearly too loud. If I wanted to heat continuously with the device, I would have given it back. I sit about 4-5 meters away and feel disturbed when watching TV, and either have to make the TV much louder or live with the "noise". I've also read that it's used in bedrooms, which is hard to imagine, but everyone's perception of "noise" seems different - or you get used to it. Not an option for me.

Ich habe mir diese E Kamin gekauft. Leider gab es optische Mängel. Die Kannten waren nicht sauber verklebt. Nach Rucksprache mit dem Verkäufer wurde hier jedoch ein Rabatt gewährt. Auch nachdem der Kamin ca. 5 Minuten nach der Bestellung günstiger wurde, wurde mein Kaufbetrag auch angepasst. Ich muss sagen, Kundenanfragen wurden zeitnah und Freundlich bearbeitet. Leider hat der Kamin nach ca. 2 Wochen angefangen laute Geräusche von sich zu geben(ca. alle 5 Minuten 3 mal Krachen hintereinander) Nachdem ich den Kundenservice schon mehrfach kontaktiert hatte und das Gerät auch nicht wieder verschicken wollte, hab ich kurzerhand die hintere Blende gelösst und den Übeltäter gesucht. Der Antrieb der Welle war nicht verschraubt. Insgesamt waren 6 Schrauben lose in dem Kamin. Nachdem ich alle Schrauben festgeschraubt hatte, hat der Kamin wieder ordentlich funktioniert. Somit habe ich Versand und Wartezeit verkürzt.

I bought this electric fireplace. Unfortunately there were visual defects. The edges were not properly glued. After consultation with the seller, however, a discount was granted here. Even after the fireplace became cheaper about 5 minutes after ordering, my purchase amount was also adjusted. I have to say that customer inquiries were processed promptly and in a friendly manner. Unfortunately, the fireplace started making loud noises after about 2 weeks (about every 5 minutes 3 times in a row cracking) After I had contacted customer service several times and didn't want to send the device back, I quickly removed the rear panel solved and found the culprit. The drive of the shaft was not screwed. A total of 6 screws were loose in the chimney. After I tightened all the screws, the fireplace worked properly again. So I reduced shipping and waiting time.

Zustellen hat keine Karte im Briefkasten hinterlassen, so dass ich erstmal 5 Tage rätseln könnte wo der Kamin abgeblieben ist. Kamin selber = Scheiben total schwarz / Sprühnebel vom lackieren- musste mit Scheuerschwamm entfernt werden.Frontscheibe sitzt nicht bündig zum Rahmen- links ca. 5 mm von oben nach unten nicht anliegend. Sehr schade, da der Kamin ein paar Tage später auch noch um ca.10€ billiger wurde.

The delivery didn't leave a card in the mailbox, so I could guess for 5 days where the chimney went. Chimney itself = panes totally black / spray mist from painting - had to be removed with a scouring pad. It's a pity, because a few days later the fireplace was also about €10 cheaper.

Der kleine Ofen sieht gut aus und erwärmt meinen Raum von ca. 20m2 erstaunlich rasch. Er ist nur für den gelegentlichen Betrieb und nicht für Dauereinsatz geeignet. Das Geräusch des Ventilators empfinde als nicht störend und das Flammenbild, bei dem man die Helligkeit einstellen kann, schafft eine schöne Atmosphäre.

The little stove looks good and heats up my room of about 20m2 surprisingly quickly. It is only suitable for occasional use and not for continuous use. The noise of the fan is not disturbing and the flame picture, with which you can adjust the brightness, creates a nice atmosphere.

Die Medien konnten nicht geladen werden. Ich bin voll zufrieden mit diesem Elektrokamin. Verarbeitung, Flammen effekt, Heizung top. Die Heizung (gebläse) hört sich an wie ein Heizlüfter.

Dieser Kamin sieht gut aus und heizt wie versprochen. Das Geräusch beim heizen könnte noch etwas leiser sein, stört aber nicht wirklich. Es ist auch zu empfehlen auf der Unterseite der beleuchteten Fläche ein Zwischenblech einzuarbeiten, weil Lichtreflexe vorne am Gebläse zu sehen ist. Das störte Anfangs, jetzt bin ich es gewohnt und schaue nicht mehr so genau hin.

This fireplace looks good and heats as promised. The noise when heating could be a little quieter, but it's not really annoying. It is also recommended to work an intermediate sheet on the underside of the illuminated area, because light reflections can be seen at the front of the fan. That bothered me at first, now I'm used to it and don't look so closely anymore.

Ich bin von der Heizleistung überrascht und sehr zufrieden. Kühle Zimmer werden schnell erwärmt. Als Heizung beschränkt verwendbar da kein Thermostat vorhanden. Der Kamineffekt (ohne zu heizen) ist ein angenehmes Extra. Ideal wäre natürlich, eine Fernbedienung und ein Thermostat, gern gegen entsprechenden Aufpreis.

I am surprised by the heating performance and very satisfied. Cool rooms are warmed up quickly. Limited use as a heater as there is no thermostat. The chimney effect (without heating) is a pleasant extra. A remote control and a thermostat would be ideal, of course, for a corresponding surcharge.
