Cosy fireplace atmosphere without fire and smoke: The Bormio S Smart electric fireplace from Klarstein magically creates realistic flame illusions in any room. The soft light deceptively imitates flames and glimmering logs and immediately radiates a cosy, romantic atmosphere.

If desired, you can switch on the heating, which immediately distributes warmth and can be operated with 950 or 1900 watts. Operation is child's play; in addition to the switches on the appliance itself, the fireplace can be conveniently controlled with the enclosed remote control. The weekly timer and the Klarstein App Experience offer you a further upgrade for your uncomplicated, cosy heating experience: control one or more heaters easily via smartphone or tablet. A special highlight is also the decorative storage space for logs in the base of the fireplace.

Simple, straightforward but romantic: With the Bormio S Smart from Klarstein, you can enjoy the feeling of sitting by a crackling fireplace, but without any fire, soot or ashes.

Not as good as I'd hoped.

The unit developed a fault within the first month of operation, with the fake coals lighting failing. Currently engaged with Klarstein for remedy options.

Further, although it says it works with Alexa, this seems to only see it as a thermostat - the heating cannot be turned on through Alexa voice command or with an Alexa routine, you can pretty much only turn it off or turn it up or down (thermostat function).

The remote is also pretty poor, not backlit and difficult to see in life lighting, and you have to point it at a very specific part of the heater from a very specific angle.

It would have been useful to have been able to direct the heat slightly.

Lastly, and minor compared to the above, it would have been nice if the little drawer was real and could have been usable

The improvements aside, it looks quite nice, although you do see some screws in the bottom alcove.

The heater is fairly decent but nothing like a real stove it is trying to emulate. Only recommended for small to medium-small rooms; any open spaces will barely feel its effect at all.

Ich kann diesen Elektrokamin nur weiter empfehlen. Mit den Holzscheiten sieht der Kamin wie echt aus.

Leider ist am Heizgitter die Farbe abgeplatzt, leider zu spät entdeckt, sonst wäre der Kamin zurückgegangen. Ich nehme an , dass der Kamin schon mal zurückgeschickt wurde. Schade, ansonsten sieht der Heizkamin gut aus , war nicht der Schaden an dem Lüftungsrost, der außerdem auch noch verbogen ist.

Der Ofen sieht gut aus, passt in jede kleine Nische. Vom Preis her war ich überrascht. Freunde schätzen ihn auf 1000,00 Euro. Mit dem Sichtfenster glaubt man dass man echtes Holz verschürt. Auch die künstliche Rachentwicklung ist klasse. Er heizt sehr gut . Das allerdings hab ich nur kurz getestet, denn die Witterung war nicht dementsprechend. Alles lässt dich mit der Fernbedienung gut steuern. Ich bin einfach happy diesen Kaminofen zu besitzen.

The stove looks good, fits into any small niche. I was surprised by the price. Friends estimate it at 1000.00 euros. With the viewing window you believe that you are stoking real wood. The artificial throat development is also great. It heats up very well. However, I only tested this briefly because the weather was not appropriate. You can control everything with the remote control. I'm just happy to own this stove.

Ein sehr schöner Elektro-Ofen. Mit tolle Optik außen sowie auch innen. Die Flammen sehen sehr echt aus und er macht schnell schöne Wärme im Raum. Wir haben noch eine Knisterbox dazu gekauft damit die Geräusche auch da sind. Unverwechselbar echt.

A very nice electric oven. With a great look outside and inside. The flames look very real and it quickly creates nice heat in the room. We also bought a crackling box so that the noises are there too. Unmistakably real.

Eigentlich ist der "Kamin" ein tolles Gerät. Das "Feuerspiel" sieht "real" aus, klar, einem echten Kamin, den wir auch haben, entspricht es null. Dazu müsste mehr Helligkeit und Tiefe in das Flammenspiel. Die Verarbeitung ist bei unserem Gerät als sehr gut zu bezeichnen, die Wärme, was wir nicht unbedingt benötigen, als völlig ausreichende Leistung zu bewerten, wenn man sie benötigen müsste. Die Fernbedienung macht ihren Job, das unbeleuchtete Display ist sehr gut abzulesen, die Einstellmöglichkeiten über diese sind gut. Helligkeit der Flammeninszenierung und des Brennguts kann man ebenfalls darüber einstellen. Aber: wir haben das Smart Home Exemplar gekauft. Das kostet derzeit 50 Euro mehr. Und funktioniert nicht. Egal, mit welchem Smartphone/Tablet wir es versuchen. Es tut sich nichts. Die Anleitung bringt darüber keine Aufklärung. Jedoch ist der Aufwand für 50 Euro, eine Retournierung zu starten, sinnlos und völlig überzogen. Verpackt war das Gerät in einem stabilen Karton. Zudem war die Ware mit Styropor schlagsicher verpackt. Also auch da alles super. Fazit: Ein schöner, gut verarbeiteter, sicher gelieferter, wärmebringender Kamin, der noch Ausbesserungspotential in Sachen Connectivity und Flammeninszenierung hat. SmartHome updaten, Flammeninszenierung ein wenig heller und evtl. Ein wenig Tiefe hinein bringen, dann wäre es perfekt.

Actually, the "chimney" is a great device. The "fire play" looks "real", of course, it corresponds to zero for a real fireplace, which we also have. This would require more brightness and depth in the flames. The workmanship of our device can be described as very good, and the heat, which we don't absolutely need, can be rated as completely sufficient if you need it. The remote control does its job, the unlit display is very easy to read, and the setting options are good. The brightness of the flame staging and the fuel can also be adjusted. But: we bought the Smart Home example. This currently costs 50 euros more. And doesn't work. It doesn't matter which smartphone/tablet we try. Nothing happens. The instructions do not explain this. However, the effort to start a return for 50 euros is pointless and completely exaggerated. The device was packed in a sturdy cardboard box. In addition, the goods were packed with Styrofoam to make them impact-resistant. So everything is great there too. Conclusion: A beautiful, well-made, safely delivered, warm fireplace that still has room for improvement in terms of connectivity and flame staging. Update SmartHome, make the flames a little brighter and maybe add a little depth, then it would be perfect.

Die Medien konnten nicht geladen werden. Er ist super schön ! Leider ist er uns ein bisschen zu niedrig gewesen. Man kann aber auch sagen zum Glück ! Wir haben einfach Möbel-beine drunter verschraubt und ich finde es steht ihm super ! Genauso wie das Rohr was wir zusätzlich angebracht haben . Was soll man dazu noch mehr sagen ,als das sogar unser Hund ihn für echt hält Mein Traum vom Kamin wurde endlich wahr P.s Das Knistern kommt von Alexa

Der Kamin wurde leider defekt geliefert. An vielen Stellen blätterte der Lack ab. Rücksendung klappte problemlos. Kosten wurden vom Verkäufer übernommen. Natürlich wegen der Größe und dem Gewicht sehr sperrig zu transportieren. Leider hatte ich den Kamin zum Sonderpreis bestellt. Der Preis war nach der beschädigten Lieferung nicht mehr gültig. Deswegen habe ich als Ersatz ein anderes Modell gewählt. Fand ich sehr schade.

Of course very bulky to transport because of the size and weight. Unfortunately, I had ordered the fireplace at a special price. The price was no longer valid after the damaged delivery. Leider konnte eine Anmeldung des Ofen im WLAN nicht vorgenommen werden. Dir Firma Klarstein hat diese Reklamation vorbildlich zeitnah und kundenfreundlich bearbeitet. Sehr guter Service!!
