Potente calorifero elettrico della Klarstein, si presenta, aperta la confezione, come un televisore flat, dato che il suo appariscente pannello anteriore è costituito da un vetro stratificato nero e riflettente, sulla cui destra sono posizionati dei comodissimi tasti comando di tipo touch ed un display che fornisce tutte le informazioni utili per la sua corretta configurazione ed il monitoraggio del funzionamento.
Arriva in una confezione a doppio scatolo di cartone multistrato grazie alla quale il pessimo trasporto del corriere non ha provocato danni all'oggetto. All'interno della confezione, oltre al radiatore, su cui sono già premontate due staffe per l'eventuale fissaggio a parete, sono presenti due poderosi piedi in plastica rigida, viti di serraggio e a pressione ed infine un manualetto cartaceo in doppia lingua, tedesco ed inglese.
Le dimensioni sono pari a 86x47x 9 cm mentre il peso si aggira sui 5 Kg.
Due griglie superiore ed inferiore consentono la gran parte dello scambio di calore che avviene per convezione.
La collocazione a pavimento è possibile avvitando i due piedi in plastica alla base, ciascuno con 4 viti, mentre quella a parete richiede l'aggancio delle staffe al muro tramite le due viti a pressione.
Il cavo di alimentazione è lungo 1,50 metri ed è di spessore assai consistente per garantire la corretta intensità di corrente necessaria all'apparato.
Sul lato laterale destro è presente un interruttore generale per l'avvio.
Accesso il calorifero si ottiene subito sul display la temperatura ambiente e per agire sui comandi di configurazione è necessario eliminare il blocco comandi di sicurezza premendo i tasti ok e freccia in basso.
La prima cosa da fare è impostare data, ora e giorno della settimana, oltre che la temperatura ambientale desiderata (range da 5 a 35°C), che potrà essere variata nel corso del funzionamento. A quel punto è possibile decidere se il calorifero debba funzionare in modalità manuale o programmata.
La programmabilità con timer è a dir poco eccellente ed avviene configurando il calorifero per una intera settimana, dal lunedì alla domenica, con la indicazione, a step minimo di 30 minuti, del comportamento giornaliero sulle 24 ore: per ogni step è possibile infatti decidere se il calorifero debba funzionare in modalità standard, in modalità risparmio energetico oppure in quella antigelo.
Ma riscalda bene?
Certamente! Si tratta di un calorifero convettivo in grado di riscaldare, data la potenza pari alla bellezza di 2000W, un ambiente di non meno di 60 m3. Appena messo in funzione in casa dopo pochi minuti è scattato un allarme generale degli ignari familiari dato il calore generato che si sommava a quello già notevole di fine estate.
Da sottolineare che l'apparecchio rispetta lo standard IP23 per cui può essere anche posto all'aperto purchè sotto una copertura che non faccia piovere acqua verticalmente sul radiatore.
Il manuale è ricco di indispensabili indicazioni per non combinare guai o ustionarsi, visto che si tratta di un apparecchio che raggiunge temperature di un certo rilievo.
Che dire, veramente un prodotto notevole, bello esteticamente tale da renderlo un oggetto di design ed in grado di riscaldare locali ampi o piccole abitazioni per intero. I consumi elettrici massimi teorici sono abbastanza rilevanti, ma configurando opportunamente gli orari e le modalità di funzionamento a risparmio è possibile, ad avviso di chi scrive, mantenere l'ambiente da riscaldare a temperature adeguate e costante senza il rischio di bollette da capogiro.

Powerful electric heater from Klarstein, when opened, it looks like a flat-screen TV, given that its striking front panel is made up of black and reflective laminated glass, on the right of which are positioned very comfortable touch-type control keys and a display which provides all the useful information for its correct configuration and monitoring of operation. It arrives in a double multilayer cardboard box thanks to which the bad transport of the courier did not cause damage to the object. Inside the package, in addition to the radiator, on which two brackets are already pre-assembled for possible wall fixing, there are two powerful rigid plastic feet, tightening and pressure screws and finally a paper manual in two languages, German and English. The dimensions are equal to 86x47x 9 cm while the weight is around 5 kg. Two upper and lower grills allow most of the heat exchange which takes place by convection. Floor installation is possible by screwing the two plastic feet to the base, each with 4 screws, while wall installation requires the brackets to be hooked to the wall using the two pressure screws. The power cord is 1.50 meters long and has a very thick thickness to guarantee the correct current intensity required by the apparatus. On the right lateral side there is a general switch for starting. Accessing the radiator, the ambient temperature is immediately obtained on the display and to act on the configuration commands it is necessary to remove the safety command block by pressing the ok and down arrow keys. The first thing to do is set the date, time and day of the week, as well as the desired room temperature (range from 5 to 35°C), which can be changed during operation. At that point it is possible to decide whether the radiator should operate in manual or programmed mode. The programmability with timer is nothing short of excellent and takes place by configuring the radiator for an entire week, from Monday to Sunday, with the indication, in minimum steps of 30 minutes, of the daily behavior over 24 hours: for each step it is in fact possible to decide whether the radiator must operate in standard mode, in energy saving mode or in antifreeze mode. But does it heat well? Certainly! It is a convective heater capable of heating, given the power equal to the beauty of 2000W, an environment of no less than 60 m3. As soon as it was put into operation in the house, after a few minutes a general alarm was triggered by the unsuspecting family members given the heat generated which added up to the already considerable heat of the end of summer. It should be underlined that the appliance complies with the IP23 standard, therefore it can also be placed outdoors as long as it is under a cover that does not let water rain vertically on the radiator. The manual is full of indispensable indications in order not to make trouble or get burned, given that it is a device that reaches temperatures of a certain degree. What can I say, truly a remarkable product, aesthetically beautiful such as to make it a design object and able to heat large rooms or small houses entirely. The theoretical maximum electricity consumption is quite significant, but by suitably configuring the times and the saving operating modes it is possible, in the opinion of the writer, to keep the room to be heated at adequate and constant temperatures without the risk of staggering bills. In short, highly recommended product.
