Hier meine subjektive Erfahrung: Hab den Subwoofer für mein selbst zusammengestelltes 2.1 / 5.1 System gekauft, also, noch ist es nicht 5.1, nur 2.1 weil ich derzeit eher Musik darüber höre und deswegen einen gebrauchten Onkyo HiFi Verstärker mit Stereo nutze. Jedoch fehlte mir der tiefbass, da ich in meinem Zimmer regallautsprecher nutze und deswegen musste ein subwoofer zur Unterstützung für tiefbass und hohe Lautstärke her. Und der Subwoofer liefert (nach „Modifikation“, was ich meine erkläre ich gleich) ordentlich, ich bin bei all der Kritik der hifi Seiten zu billigen Subwoofern und Auna als Marke recht skeptisch gewesen und habe überlegt ob es so schlimm wird wie betitelt. Naja, als dann das Monster Paket ankam, dachte ich zuerst, mir hätte jemand nen Schrank bereits zusammengebaut geschickt und schwer war es auch, fast 20kg, als er dann aus seinem Karton und der Verpackung innendrin (sehr sicher gepackt) rauskam, war ne kleine Macke in einem Gummi Fuß, ansonsten war alles super und von der Verarbeitung her gut. Die dreh Regler hinten fühlen sich dem Preis entsprechend, aber noch gut an, es stinkt nicht, auch bei hoher Lautstärke spürt man das Gehäuse kaum bis gar nicht vibrieren, das tun meine aussortierten magnat standlautsprecher sehr wohl, und hui, es brummelt ordentlich. ABER: Wenn ich den sub out of the Box anschließe, dann produziert er nur gewummer und keinen Bass und die 8“ Membrane sind ab geschätzen 30-40% Lautstärke nur am ausschlagen und erzeugen keinen Bass aber hörbares „geflacker“, distortion, und ein „frrrrr“, deswegen musste ich die 2 bassreflexports (innendurchmesser 7-8cm, musste selber Schaumstoff zuschneiden, weil es nichts passendes gab) mit Schaumstoff verschließen, um den aus überhaupt nutzen zu können. Danach gab es keine „distortion“ mehr und der Bass hörte sich tatsächlich auch brauchbar an, immernoch extrem viel aber nicht mehr so extrem unkontrolliert. Ich nutze die maximal mögliche Leistung bei weitem nicht aus, aber bis zu Lautstärken, die bereits ordentlich in den Ohren schmerzen wird das Gerät kaum warm (hinten sind ja kleine Abwärme Rippen). Sobald die Bassreflexports das Klangbild nicht mehr ruinieren ist der subwoofer definitiv zu empfehlen. ———————- Wichtig! ————————- Der sub hat 3 unterschiedliche Modi, nämlich: Aus / Auto / an Entweder ist er ganz aus, dann kommt nix oder läuft auf auto, dann schaltet der sub immer nach kurzer Zeit aus, wenn kein Signal über das cinch Kabel kommt. Das Problem dabei ist, dass der sub dann immer einen Schalter oder so umlegt, keine Ahnung, es gibt ein sehr lautes „TACK“ und der Timer ist sehr knapp eingestellt, vielleicht 10 Sekunden. Hört man jetzt Musik, die nicht gerade Bass im sperrfeuer liefert, macht es alle paar Sekunden „TACK“ mitten im Song, wenn sich der sub ausschaltet und dann nochmal „TACK“ wenn er sich wieder einschaltet. Das geht einem heftig auf die Nerven. Noch schlimmer ist dieser Auto Modus bei Filmen. Also probiere ich den Dauer an Modus, hier ist der sub so lange angeschaltet, bis der Strom weg ist. Hier ist das nächste Problem. Ist er im „Leerlauf“, kommt also kein Signal von der Anlage bzw. ist die Stereo Anlage ausgeschaltet, gibt der sub ein tiefes, lautes, gleichmäßiges Brummen von sich. Und zwar so lange, bis man den Strom wegnimmt/Stecker zieht/ manuell ausschaltet per Kippschalter auf der Rückseite oder wieder Musik kommt. Gelöst habe ich das mit einer funksteckdose. Ist ziemlich einfach und sehr effektiv. Der sub steckt mit dem Stromkabel in der Steckdose, ist auf „on“, also Dauer angeschaltet und ich schalte ihn dann wenn ich Musik hören will per Fernbedienung an. Er startet dann sofort mit Musik und brummt nicht mehr. Ich nutze hierzu die brennenstuhl funksteckdosen, so hat man auch einen fernbedienbaren subwoofer ohne hohen Aufpreis. ——-—————————————————- Für ein einigermaßen ausgewogenes Klangbild hab ich den Regler bei ~120 Hertz und cirka 40-60% Volumen, das passt gut. Leider ist kickbass wohl nicht so dabei, aber das machen zum Glück meine Regallautsprecher gut. Das stoffgitter hängt leider an Plastik Haken, die ziemlich sicher mit der Zeit abbrechen, Metall wäre da ne klügere Wahl gewesen und mir lieber, da merkt man dann den Preis. Die Powe reicht aber für heftig viel Bass. Den sub kann ich so nur weiterempfehlen
Here's my subjective experience: I bought the subwoofer for my self-assembled 2.1 / 5.1 system, well, it's not 5.1 yet, only 2.1 because I'm currently listening to music through it and therefore use a used Onkyo HiFi amplifier with stereo. However, I missed the deep bass because I use bookshelf speakers in my room and therefore a subwoofer was needed to support deep bass and high volume. And the subwoofer delivers (after "modification", I'll explain what I mean in a moment) properly, I was quite skeptical about all the criticism on the hifi sites about cheap subwoofers and Auna as a brand and I thought about whether it would be as bad as titled. Well, when the monster package arrived, I thought at first that someone had sent me a wardrobe already assembled and it was heavy too, almost 20kg, when it came out of its box and the packaging inside (packed very securely), it was a small one Macke in a rubber foot, otherwise everything was great and the workmanship was good. The rotary knobs on the back feel appropriate for the price, but still feel good, it doesn't stink, even at high volume you can hardly feel the housing vibrate, if at all, my discarded magnat floor-standing speakers do that very well, and hui, it hums quite a bit. BUT: If I connect the sub out of the box, it only produces a hum and no bass, and the 8" membrane only throbs at an estimated volume of 30-40% and does not produce any bass, but audible "flickering", distortion, and on "frrrrr", that's why I had to seal the 2 bass reflex ports (inner diameter 7-8cm, had to cut foam myself because there was nothing suitable) with foam in order to be able to use it at all. After that there was no more "distortion" and the bass actually sounded usable, still a lot but not so extremely uncontrolled. I don't use the maximum possible performance by a long shot, but the device hardly gets warm up to volume levels that really hurt the ears (there are small waste heat ribs at the back). As soon as the bass reflex ports no longer ruin the sound, the subwoofer is definitely recommended. -------- Important! ————————- The sub has 3 different modes, namely: Off / Auto / On Either it is completely off, then nothing comes or runs on auto, then the sub always switches off after a short time if there is no signal via the cinch cable. The problem with this is that the sub always flips a switch or something, dunno, there's a very loud "TACK" and the timer is set very tight, maybe 10 seconds. Now, if you're listening to music that doesn't exactly deliver bass in the barrage, it will "TACK" every few seconds mid-song when the sub turns off, and then "TACK" again when it turns back on. That really gets on your nerves. This auto mode is even worse for movies. So I try the continuous mode, here the sub is switched on until the power is gone. Here's the next problem. If it is in "idle mode", i.e. there is no signal from the system or the stereo system is switched off, the sub emits a deep, loud, even hum. And this continues until you turn off the power/pull the plug/switch it off manually using the toggle switch on the back or music comes on again. I solved that with a wireless socket. It's pretty simple and very effective. The sub is plugged into the socket with the power cable, is set to "on", i.e. permanently switched on and I switch it on via remote control when I want to listen to music. It then starts immediately with music and no longer hums. I use the brennenstuhl wireless sockets for this, so you also have a remote-controlled subwoofer without a high surcharge. ——-—————————————————- For a reasonably balanced sound I have the controller at ~120 Hertz and about 40-60% volume, which fits well. Unfortunately kickbass is probably not there, but fortunately my bookshelf speakers do that well. Unfortunately, the fabric grid hangs on plastic hooks, which will almost certainly break off over time, metal would have been a wiser choice and I prefer it, because then you notice the price.
