I'm divided in my rating, but I still give it 5 stars. Because objective evaluation and subjective evaluation are exactly opposite for me here. I got the sheets last week. It is high-quality in cardboard and individually packed in high-quality bags with zippers. I really like that right away. When unpacked, it also does not give off any smell, especially no chemical laboratory smell. I then washed the sheets straight away and put them on fresh out of the dryer and slept in them one night now. It should be noted that it comes out of the dryer relatively wrinkle-free. Not quite crease-free, but in such a way that you can put them straight on without ironing, which is why only 4 stars for the crease-free nature. It hasn't lost color with washing and the color is true to the photos. I would like to divide the review into two parts. On the one hand there is the processing, let's call it the objective part. In this regard, the bedding is beyond reproach. It is spotlessly clean, makes a very high-quality impression and no threads come off after the first wash. The fabric quality is also very good and heavy and beyond any doubt. It's not stuff you can read the newspaper through. Therefore, this bedding is definitely worth 5 stars. I still wouldn't buy it again, and now comes the very subjective part of the evaluation, which I don't include in the evaluation precisely because of the subjectivity, because everyone has to decide for themselves how they evaluate it. It's about the fabric and I'm wondering if the bedding differs in fabric by color and other buyers with different colors got different fabrics. I had asked here in advance whether it was a "cool" fabric, comparable to Makosatin. In response to my question, several other buyers confirmed to me that it was a beautiful, pleasantly cool fabric. That was what made me decide to buy the bed linen, even though I didn't know the fabric. Unfortunately, the material is a total disappointment in this context. The fabric definitely feels very high quality and soft, it is also not thin and has an almost velvety feel. And that's exactly the problem. Velvet is warm, not cool. I'll strip the sheets again for tonight. Since it has now been used and has no defects, I do not want to send it back. I'm still very annoyed. Especially now in summer the bed linen is absolutely unbearable for me. When it's still 25°C outside at night, I don't want bed linen that gives me an additional feeling of warmth. So if you like velvety, really cuddly soft bed linen, you will hardly find better bed linen in my opinion. But if you prefer bed linen that is cool and smooth, especially in summer, you should not buy this one. I'll mothball the sheets and see how they do in the winter. But I'm generally not a fan of warm bedding, even in winter. I will stay with Makosatin for the future, I could have saved the 70 euros.
