It holds 3 place settings per cycle and uses just 6 litres of water — a fraction of what you'd run through the tap washing the same load by hand, which typically uses three to four times as much. Seven wash programmes handle everything from delicate wine glasses to stubbornly grimy pots, so you're not stuck on one setting regardless of what's in the basket. At 58 dB, it's quiet enough to run in the evening without it taking over the room.

Inside, a stainless steel basket resists detergent and daily wear far better than plastic alternatives. The height-adjustable upper rack adapts to taller glasses or larger pots without any fuss. Once the cycle finishes, the door opens automatically to let steam escape and speed up drying — or you can switch that feature off if you'd prefer.

No fixed water connection? No problem. The built-in water tank and fill funnel mean the Melville 3 runs completely independently — perfect for a caravan pitch, a holiday cottage, or anywhere plumbing isn't an option.
