Your Right to Repair – we're here to help
Since 31 July 2026, as a consumer in the EU you have an enhanced right to repair (EU Directive 2024/1799). As a manufacturer, Klarstein is required to repair your appliances – even after the warranty has expired – at fair prices and within a reasonable time.
For repair or return requests, Klarstein Customer Service is your first point of contact. After your request, we review the case – and can then, for faster and more local handling, put you in direct contact with one of our service partners in your region.
Original Spare‑Parts & Repair Hub
At Klarstein we design our appliances for a long, useful life. EU Ecodesign regulations require us – and every other brand – to keep essential spare parts available for at least seven to ten years after a product series leaves the market.
This page brings all of that support together in one place for the categories you use most: refrigerators, freezers, mini‑/wine/beverage coolers, washing machines, tumble dryers and even vacuum cleaners.
Here’s what you can expect:
- Clear lists of parts – separated into items you can fit yourself (door gaskets, filters, racks …) and those that must be installed by a qualified technician (motors, pumps, electronic boards, sensors …).
- Straight‑forward ordering – end‑user parts can be bought directly through our Customer‑Service shop, while professional‑only parts are supplied via our authorised distribution partner ASWO or the Klarstein Service Portal.
- Guaranteed lead‑times – every part we list is shipped within 15 working days of order confirmation, anywhere in the EU.
- Do‑it‑yourself guidance - step‑by‑step videos and PDFs show you how to replace the user‑serviceable parts safely, using ordinary household tools.
- Professional documentation – registered repairers get instant access (after a quick competence check) to service manuals, exploded views, wiring diagrams and diagnostic software.
- Transparent prices and warranty – indicative pre‑tax prices are published up front, and all Klarstein products carry a minimum two‑year guarantee alongside your statutory rights.
Whether you are a home user replacing a simple seal or a service engineer booking multiple components through ASWO, this hub is your one‑stop gateway to keeping Klarstein appliances running efficiently for years to come.
Which products fall under the EU right to repair?
EU Directive 2024/1799 requires manufacturers to repair certain product categories (Annex II). Your enhanced repair rights apply to the following Klarstein products:
Not covered by Annex II (but still covered by the Klarstein warranty):
For products outside Annex II, the statutory warranty (2 years) and Klarstein's warranty services naturally continue to apply.
How to find my Product Number (SKU)
You’ll need the 8‑digit SKU (it always begins with 100xxxxx) when you search or order spare parts.
1. Check the rating label on the appliance
- Look underneath the base, behind the door, or on the rear panel – depending on the product type.
- The label is usually silver‑coloured and headed “Klarstein”.
- Find the line that starts with 100 followed by five more digits (e.g. 10012345).
- Tip: the SKU may also appear next to the wording “Model / Mod.” or “SKU”.
2. Look at the original packaging
- One side of the box carries a QR code.
- Scan the QR code with your phone to display the SKU, or simply read the first eight digits printed below it – they will start with 100.
3. Still not sure?
- Contact Klarstein Customer Service with a photo of the rating label, your order number or packaging and we’ll confirm the SKU for you.

Professional Spare Parts
Certain components – motors, pumps, electronic control boards, sensors, refrigerant parts, heating elements, etc. – are classed by EU Ecodesign law as “professional-only” (Reg. 2019/2019 Annex II §3 (a)(1); Reg. 2019/2023 Annex II §8 (3)(a); Reg. 2023/2533 Annex II §5 (3)(a)).
Because they carry high-voltage, pressurised, or water-tight circuits and require software calibration, they may legally be sold only to authorised, technically competent repairers.
This protects:
- User safety – preventing electric-shock, fire, flood or refrigerant hazards caused by incorrect fitting.
- Appliance efficiency & warranty – ensuring the product keeps its certified energy rating and that liability insurance remains valid.
- Environmental compliance – guaranteeing that critical parts (refrigerant systems, electronics, heating elements) are disposed of or recycled correctly.
All professional‑only parts are supplied via ASWO, our official partner.
1. If already ASWO customer, simply login, search for the main SKU or Sparepart number and place your order
2. If not yet a ASWO customer, please register on ASWO webpage and follow the registration steps.
- Upload proof of technical competence & liability insurance (Reg. 2019/2023 Annex II §8(3)(a), Reg. 2023/2533 Annex II §5(3)(a)) EUR-LexEUR-Lex

- Order via ASWO
Repair manuals, exploded-view diagrams & diagnostics
All technical documentation required by EU Ecodesign regulations—repair instructions, exploded-view drawings, wiring diagrams, test values, firmware tools and error-code lists, is available through two secure channels:
| ASWO Trade Portal | Authorised professionals who already have an ASWO account | 1. Log in at shop.aswo.com → 2. Search by Klarstein SKU or spare-part number → 3. Click the “Documents” tab next to the part listing to download PDFs and software bundles. |
| Klarstein Customer Service | Independent technicians without ASWO access, or customers needing end-user guides | 1. Contact us via e-mail and quote the appliance SKU → 2. For professionals, we verify your Pro ID → 3. We e-mail the relevant manuals and diagrams, or provide a direct download link. |
Note: Detailed service documentation is shared only with validated professionals, as required by EU law, while end-user guides (e.g. filter-cleaning or gasket-replacement PDFs) remain freely downloadable for everyone.
Indicative Pre‑tax Prices
EU Regulation 2023/2533 requires that the indicative pre‑tax price of each tumble‑dryer spare part is published online (Annex II §5(1)(f)). We apply the same transparency to all categories. See price list on the supplied matrix PDF on point 2. (updated quarterly).
Indicative repair prices
In addition to spare-part prices, we publish indicative prices for typical repairs. These are non-binding – the final price is set out in the individual quote.
| Product category | Standard repair (flat rate) | Complex repair | Remote support (video) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Wine coolers | from €140 + parts | on request | €85 |
| Refrigerators & freezers | from €140 + parts | on request | €85 |
| Washing machines & dryers | from €140 + parts | on request | €85 |
| Dishwashers | from €140 + parts | on request | €85 |
Prices apply to repairs outside the warranty period. Within the warranty, the repair is free of charge for you. Prices as of: [date], updated quarterly.
Minimum Guarantee Period
Unless national law grants longer rights, Klarstein provides a 2‑year legal warranty on all appliances. This does not limit your statutory rights.
Warranty extension after repair (+12 months)
Under EU Directive 2024/1799, your warranty is extended by 12 months if your appliance is repaired during the warranty period. This extension applies to the entire appliance – not just the repaired component.
How it works
- Every warranty repair has its repair date recorded in our system.
- You receive an email confirmation with your new warranty end date.
- You can view your updated warranty end date at any time in your Klarstein customer account under "My Appliances".
Example: you buy an appliance on 1 September 2026 (warranty until 1 September 2028). After a repair on 1 October 2027, your warranty is extended to 1 October 2028.
Important note: the 12-month warranty extension applies to purchase contracts concluded on or after 31 July 2026. For appliances purchased earlier, the original warranty terms continue to apply – however, your right to repair under EU Directive 2024/1799 remains unaffected and also applies to existing appliances.
