Top features

  • Five zones, every cooking style covered: Whether you're running a wok at full heat or keeping a béchamel at a gentle simmer, all five Sabaf burners across 3.6 kW total output give you the range to cook everything at once — without compromise.

  • Instant heat, total precision: Turn the dial and the flame responds immediately — no waiting, no lag. Gas lets you jump from a fierce sear to a delicate simmer in seconds, giving you real-time control that makes a genuine difference to the result on the plate.

  • Ready for wok cooking straight away: The included wok support ring sits securely on the cast iron pan supports, positioning a wok at the ideal height over the burner. High-heat stir-fries, flambéing, and anything that demands fast, intense flames — the Ignito 5 handles it.

  • Safety built in from the start: The automatic Flame Failure Device (FFD) cuts the gas supply the moment a flame goes out — whether from a spill, a draught, or anything else. The Ignito 5 comes factory-set for natural gas (20 mbar) and can be converted to LPG/bottled gas (50 mbar) if your supply changes, with no need to replace the hob.

  • Built to last, easy to keep clean: The cast iron pan supports are robust enough for heavy cookware and distribute heat evenly across any pot base. The stainless steel housing wipes down effortlessly after cooking and keeps its finish with everyday use.

Product description

There's a reason professional chefs won't give up gas. That instant, tactile control — dial it up, dial it back, the flame follows your hand — is something no other hob quite matches. The Klarstein Ignito 5 brings exactly that kind of responsiveness into a built-in gas hob designed to sit flush in any kitchen worktop.

Five cooking zones and 3.6 kW of total power means you can have a wok blazing, a sauce barely simmering, and three other pots all doing their own thing simultaneously. The five Sabaf burners — precision-engineered in Italy — distribute heat evenly across the base of any pan, from a small milk pan to a full-size wok. Cast iron pan supports keep your cookware steady and transfer heat consistently.

The stainless steel finish wipes down easily after cooking and holds its look through daily use. Electric ignition lights every burner with a single press — no matches, no faff. The built-in Flame Failure Device (FFD) automatically cuts the gas supply the moment a flame goes out, so you're covered even if a spill or draught catches you off guard.

The Ignito 5 comes factory-set for natural gas (20 mbar) and can be converted to LPG/bottled gas (50 mbar) if your supply changes. Gas hose and pressure regulator are sold separately. Installation must be carried out by a qualified professional.

Get restaurant-quality results from your own kitchen — order the Klarstein Ignito 5 today.

The black flame symbols and burner locations on the buttons are starting to peel off after a year. The Klarstein logo peeled off in less than a year. They are not laser-etched, they are printed.

This hob is very nice, I've been using it for less than a month, I've cooked everything on it and the material seems really durable and easy to clean. For now I'm really satisfied with it.

Amazing stove, been living in the van for a year and still in love. However, it's not street legal.

We bought this 5-burner gas cooktop in January 2019 because we were fed up with our electric ceramic cooktop. We haven't regretted it for a second. The cooktop can be connected directly to the house's gas supply or to a gas cylinder. The necessary nozzles are included. We use the cooktop every day for everything: making coffee in our Bialetti, frying, and cooking short or long meals. We run it on gas cylinders, so you have to provide your own hose, pressure regulator, etc. It's not complicated, though. We would buy this gas cooktop again in a heartbeat. We even recommended it to a good friend and bought him a 4-burner version about four years ago. He's still very happy with it. And if there's no electricity, you can light it with a lighter or matches. You're completely independent when it comes to cooking.

Excellent gas cooktop with a thick glass top, easily convertible to propane. I'm going to install it in a camper. We'll have a lot of fun with it :)

Also habe ich ihn mir gekauft.

I've been longing for a gas stove for years, and this one not only looks great but works perfectly. So I bought it. Contrary to other reviews, I have no problem with the knobs getting too hot when the front burners are in use. Nor do I have any issues with the flames being too large even on the lowest setting. I run it on propane from an 11 kg cylinder, which of course requires some adjustments. First, you need to change the jets when cooking with propane. This is quite easy to do with a 7 mm socket wrench. The bore diameters are marked on the jets. Logically, the largest diameter goes on the largest burner, and the smallest diameter on the smallest burner. I think everyone understands what I mean. Since the gas stoves are factory-designed for natural gas, you also need to adjust the flow rate for each individual burner, in addition to changing the jets. Don't worry. This is just as easy as changing the nozzle. You start with one flame and work your way through. Here's how: 1. Light the flame and then set it to the lowest setting. 2. In this position, pull off the knob and you'll see a bit of the valve unit. 3. Pull off the rubber boot (don't worry, it's just as easy to put back on). 4. To the left of the rotating shaft, you'll see two screw heads – a Phillips head screw at about 8 o'clock (CAUTION!!! Keep your fingers away from this one!) and a slotted screw at about 10 o'clock. This is the correct one. 5. As mentioned, the flame must be lit and set to the lowest setting. Now, using the slotted screwdriver, turn the slotted screw in until you have a flame size of about 3-4 mm. 6. Put the rubber boot back on and then the rotary knob. Turn off the flame and start again from step 1 with the next flame. I hope this helps some of you and alleviates any concerns. I'm extremely happy with this stove.

I have a kitchen island where an 80 cm NEFF cooktop has been doing its job. Unfortunately, it finally gave up the ghost. Since I'd been considering switching to gas for a while, this was the perfect opportunity. I searched for ages until I found one I liked. I decided on the Klarstein Ignito. I found it at a well-known online retailer, but it was priced at €480, which seemed a bit steep. So I spent days comparing prices and finally bought it for around €290 on Amazon. Annoyingly, I overlooked the fact that it didn't include a gas connection kit. As a result, the cooktop arrived unusable. Furthermore, the cutout in the countertop was exactly 3 cm too wide. I ordered a gas connection kit and found someone who could fabricate a steel plate with the correct dimensions and cutout. Degreasing the steel plate and applying five coats of paint took another three days. But now I have a truly beautiful gas cooktop on a perfectly fitting base (adapter frame) in a satin black finish (two coats of matte black, three coats of satin clear coat). The cooktop itself works perfectly with the 11kg gas cylinder underneath. It looks fantastic and is far more efficient than any expensive glass-ceramic (Ceran) cooktop. Boiling five liters of water on the 1.7kW plates takes less than five minutes; even my Ottoni Fabrica kettle can't manage that. The only slightly awkward thing is removing grease from the black glass surface. I'm still searching for the perfect combination of cloth/sponge and cleaner. But that's a small price to pay for the look. I have plenty of stainless steel in my kitchen, which is why I actively chose not to use it. For the price, I would recommend this cooktop without hesitation. I'm deducting one star because the gas connection kit is missing. This is mentioned, but only as an afterthought. It should be highlighted more clearly.
