Also da kann nichts kaputt gehen.
February + July 2022: Experiences after one year of use ---------------------------------------- --- My eyes still sparkle when I'm allowed to cook on the appliance right away... ;-)) Yes, it's simply fun. Although the good piece is used daily and is also used as a shelf - there are no scratches on it yet. And also no "permanent" contamination. "Problem" that the buttons are difficult to respond: ---------------------------------------- ------------ It's up to your fingers (yes, honestly) - just moisten them briefly (i.e. your fingers) and you'll be able to use the keys. "Problem" that the disks turn off by themselves: -------------------------------------- --------------------------- I can not understand. Never happened to me before. Another tip: buy a good iron skillet for the larger plate and make the best steak and fried potatoes. AWESOME... Still: Highly recommended. ####################################### February 2021: The package came in a huge box . However, it was well protected by the amount of filling material. The induction field itself was then again in a box in which the product box was finally... So nothing can break there. The induction field was to replace a ceramic hob - there was an opening with the dimensions of 560 x 490 specified by Klarstein. This is a common measure for such fields. ONLY: Klarstein has forgotten that the screws on the base also protrude on each side and the brackets also need space. It is described that there should be at least 3mm space all around - only these are not shown. And so you have to laboriously enlarge the existing opening. Only the engineer - who NEVER installed the part - knows why the bottom cover was not simply made a little smaller. Ok, we have the appropriate tool. But the normal do-it-yourselfer should be overwhelmed. The connection cable comes out in the middle (!) in (!) the worktop. So you have to carve the worktop at the bottom so that the cable can come down. Who came up with that???? It's just a pity that the installation is so fiddly - because the induction field itself is great. It looks really cool and the operation is self-explanatory. The volume of the fans is ok, the "I'm just taking the pot down" function solved very well. And the boost function really gives you speed under the pot. But please never use pans to heat them up - they break faster than you think. Do not heat pans until 3 - give the material time to adjust to the heat. If you set the boost function on 2 disks, for example, the fans run under full load with the corresponding background noise. Really hot air comes out of the ventilation slot (see installation instructions). I didn't measure the temperature - but the feeling told me to only use 1x Boost. And it feels like it doesn't really make sense with the boost either. The lower heating levels are clocked - i.e. the magnetic field is not simply reduced, but pulsed with full energy. This is technically a good and also common solution, because the full magnetic field then arrives in the pot. You can hear the slight clicking of the mechanical relays - but that's ok. It's similar with more expensive devices - only you don't hear the clicking, because electronic relays are often installed. I don't understand why there are reviews here that see this as a disadvantage. The slider wheel is ok and practical - albeit unusual. But you can easily select the 9 levels with it. The sensor buttons work great. If not: simply moisten your finger briefly. When cleaning, the locking of the keys is usually activated (Lo for locked). There are reviews here where the authors are unable to read the manual. Therefore: Unlock by placing 1 finger each on the left and right of Lo on the symbols and waiting a bit. And up again... We clean it quite simply, by the way: apply a dash of washing-up liquid to the cold glass surface, spread it with a washing-up brush, leave it to work for a short time and wipe off with the dishcloth. Then wipe over with the tea towel and you're done. All these ceramic cleaners are just "garbage" and pollution. Another tip: Some pans and pots sometimes leave a gray haze on the glass surface when they are heated to high temperatures. Especially when the pans feel this power for the first time. This "blind" layer does not necessarily come off with normal cleaning. To do this, simply (but now) take CERAN cleaner, rub it off and everything is fine again. And the iron pans? Perfect for induction - but please heat up slowly. First heat up at approx. 3 and then turn up the heat. The pans will be hot almost immediately. As a rule, the setting 6-7 (of 9) is sufficient to sear steaks well. I'm definitely excited about the field. And last but not least, the part simply looks really cool due to the glass edge and the rectangular cooking surfaces. The price itself is a real hit - at least until 02/22/21... Actually, the field would be good for 5 stars - but the problems with the installation due to real design errors only give it 4 stars. But whatever: I would buy it again because the induction field impresses with its appearance and function.
