Suspended directly above your kitchen island, it pulls smoke, steam, grease particles and cooking smells away from all four sides of the hob at once, before they ever get the chance to drift into your living space. With an airflow of 518 m³/h, it has the grunt to handle a serious dinner party just as comfortably as a weeknight stir-fry.
Hanging above the island also means the Barella sits at the centre of the room — and it looks the part. Brushed stainless steel, clean geometry, and integrated LED lighting combine to make it a focal point rather than an afterthought. Three fan speeds let you dial it up or down depending on what's on the hob, and even at full power the noise level tops out at 72 dB — workable, not intrusive.
No external duct? No problem. The Barella runs in either ducted or recirculation mode. Switch to recirculation and the included activated charcoal filters handle the odour removal. Replacement filters are available separately under article number 10027530. The aluminium grease filters lift out in seconds and go straight in the dishwasher, so keeping things clean takes no effort at all.
