If your kitchen feels cluttered with a bulky extractor hood dominating the space above your hob, the Klarstein AirJet 60 DownAir System offers a genuinely different approach. This induction hob with integrated extractor pulls steam and cooking odours downwards — directly through the cooking surface itself — so there's nothing looming overhead and nothing blocking your view.
The induction hob delivers four cooking zones with a total output of 7,200 W (10,000 W with Booster). Thanks to the VarioHeating system, pairs of adjacent zones merge into large flex zones — ideal for roasting dishes, oversized pans, or anything that refuses to fit a standard ring. Each individual zone also has a Booster mode for a serious burst of heat when you need it quickly.
At the heart of the system is the DownAir extractor, which operates in either recirculation or ducted extraction mode and delivers up to 600 m³/h of airflow. Because it's built into the hob rather than mounted above it, you get cleaner lines, an unobstructed sightline, and — with the slim motor design — an extra 10 cm of usable storage space below the unit. It works just as well on a central kitchen island as it does along a standard run of units.
Everything is controlled via a flush touch panel integrated directly into the glass surface. No dials, no protruding buttons — just a clean, uninterrupted finish. Pot detection, a hob timer (up to 99 minutes), and a child lock are all included as standard, along with an integrated oil collection tray and automatic shut-off for added peace of mind.
