The basic installation of a carbon filter for our Klarstein range hoods is quite simple:

• 1.Remove the grease filter(s)
• 2.Now, screw the active charcoal filters on both sides of the motor. Note: The active charcoal filters are NOT to be installed in the exhaust pipe in the chimney !
• 3.Replace the grease filters - and the hood is ready!

Although an air cooler has the same structure as that of a fan, you distinguish between air conditioners and air coolers as follows: In principle, the air cooler works like a fan. It sucks in warm air, evaporates water and cools the air flowing through it. This in turn ensures that your body is pleasantly cooled to the point, even if the room temperature itself does not drop significantly. But in addition, an air cooler has a water tank with cold pads and filters to ensure purified air.An air cooler does not use a refrigerant as an AC. A powerful fan draws air through a mesh which is cooled by cold water. The effect: cold humid air. The cooling packs in the water tank keep the water temperature below room temperature for a longer period. The filters capture the whirled up dust. Effects: cooling, humidification and cleaning of the air.

In the night or sleep and nature modes of our Klarstein air coolers and fans, the fan speed is changed at time intervals - in principle, hardly noticeable. In this way, our devices simulate a natural rise and fall of the wind within seconds. Our night or sleep modes differ only in that they lower the maximum ventilation to the next lower level after about 30 to 60 minutes before the devices switch off itself.
