The color of the dehydrator alone has already impressed me. It is kept in a chic green and looks visually appealing. When you unpack it from the box, it is as good as assembled. It consists of the device base, five levels, four of which are intended for fruit and one for yoghurt. There are also a total of nine yoghurt pots in here. 0.8 liters fit into each insert for fruit. The operation is basically very easy, because you only have the on and off switch and the stepless temperature setting from 30° - 70°C. There is no more. The inserts can all be removed individually, so that they can be filled very easily. We tried it first with apples because we like to eat them best and wanted to see if they turned out just like or better than the store bought ones. I find it very nice that the instructions describe how the preparation has to be and how long the drying time is and the drying temperature. Anyone who has never owned a dehydrator like we have would otherwise have been aimless. So we did it exactly as instructed. First peel and core the apples and then cut them into slices. You can also cut them into pieces, but I kinda prefer slices. But that is up to each individual. Before you can put the fruit in the device, you should put it in fruit juice and water for 2 hours. Done, done and after two hours the containers could be filled. Since the manufacturer writes that the device should always be operated with all five inserts, we also filled the four with apple slices. The only thing we left out was the yoghurt the first time. Now plug into the socket, switch on the device and set the temperature to 60 degrees. Apples take 4-15 minutes to dry. Of course, that's quite a long period of time and you have to see how you want it to be. We have tested all the options and we like them best when we take them out after 8 minutes. Then you have dried apple slices, but they are still soft. After we familiarized ourselves with the device, other types of fruit were added. We tested plums, pears, mangoes and also bananas. Everything tastes really delicious and a lot better and above all healthier than what you can buy. You have a really intense taste here and you can tell by the taste what kind of fruit it is. The dehydrator is also really quiet in operation. You only hear a quiet fan, which you no longer notice over time. However, you always have to look at the clock or set a timer, since none is attached to the device. Over time we became bolder and also dried mushrooms, peppers and tomatoes. Here, too, the full aroma is retained and you can use these things very well for cooking. And we also prepared yoghurt. To fill all nine cups you need one liter of milk and 1 g of yeast, which is dissolved in the milk. Now fill the yoghurt cups with it. In order to be able to prepare yoghurt, all other inserts must be removed. Plug into the socket, temperature controller to 40 degrees and then the whole thing takes 5-8 hours, depending on how you want the yoghurt. Trying is also announced here. We have chosen the golden mean. And homemade yoghurt is something finer. You know exactly what's in it, it tastes a lot fresher than store-bought natural yoghurt and even my kids like it. I panicked a little before cleaning, but it's not a problem at all. The parts can all be removed and so I can wash everything off quickly with my hand and washing-up liquid. The inserts and the lid can also be put in the dishwasher. The base station is simply wiped with a damp cloth and that's enough because it doesn't get dirty. I'm blown away by this dehydrator. The dried fruits or vegetables taste much fresher and are more flavorful than what you know from the shops. A really big difference. And the yoghurt is just awesome. I can only recommend him and give him five stars.

Klarstein Yofruit Essiccatore è entrato davvero in poco tempo nelle mie grazie.

My husband told me, but I didn't want to listen to him: the fruit and vegetable dehydrator is a fantastic kitchen accessory! I state that we have a lot of fresh fruit and vegetables available, since our fathers love to relax by cultivating their own piece of "garden" which does not offer only oranges and lemons. My husband has been considering buying a dryer for some time, but I admit that I was the one who held him back. At least until now. When I discovered the Klarstein Yofruit Dehydrator, I immediately fell in love because this small appliance not only dries fruit and vegetables, but also prepares yoghurt! In short, it combines two kitchen accessories in one. I have loved making yogurt at home for years: this healthy habit makes me feel safer to consume a product that is always fresh and genuine and, at the same time, saves money. With Klarstein Yofruit I not only make my own yoghurt, but also dried fruit for muesli! Have you ever tried adding figs, bananas, apples and dried red fruits to crunchy cereals? A goodness! The Klarstein Yofruit Dryer really got into my good graces in a very short time. The aesthetic is very pleasant with its flower shape and its transparent and shiny shelves, I would define it almost elegant. I admit that it is not exactly small as a device, but not too bulky either, it measures 29cm in diameter by 32cm in height and is the combination of several stackable parts. At the bottom is the base that contains the mechanical part that makes the appliance work and on this base we find the power switch and the thermostat, i.e. the temperature regulator (from 35° to 70°). The timer is notably absent, but we will hardly forget that we have the dryer on, also because it makes a slight noise. Superimposed on the base we find the first shelf which is used to prepare the yoghurt: 9 jars for the yoghurt are neatly arranged in it, equipped with caps to be removed during the preparation of the yoghurt and to be repositioned before storing it in the refrigerator. There are 4 superimposed shelves, a sort of transparent grids, and they are used for the dehydrator itself: fruit and vegetables, cut into slices or wedges, are placed on them, taking care not to overlap them and that's it. The time needed for the operation to be complete depends on the results we want to achieve and the degree of drying we want for our fruit. The whole is completed by the glossy white flower-shaped lid which must necessarily be correctly positioned during operation of the device. The Klarstein Yofruit Dehydrator runs on electricity and has a standard power cord. The heat is distributed evenly and all the fruit and vegetables placed on the grilled shelves are dried for a pleasure. Since the shelves are transparent, I can check the drying status of my sliced bananas at any time (my daughter and I are greedy for them), but we must bear in mind that the thicker the fruit, the longer it takes for the operation is completed: if the foods are not well dried, they will not keep well and will soon spoil even though the dehydrator is efficient and of high quality. The convenience of owning a combined appliance like this is truly unique, both in terms of space and in economic terms. Moreover, being composed of stackable and completely removable shelves, the dryer/yogurt maker is easily washable. I would avoid washing it in the dishwasher to avoid any kind of risk, but in any case fruit and vegetable residues can be removed quite easily even by hand. With this dehydrator/yogurt maker, Klarstein reaffirms the idea of trust, competence and avant-garde that I had already had the opportunity to build for myself. The dried fruit was home cooked

The advantage of this device is to combine two household appliances with similar operation in one and thus save money and storage space. I already had a Klarstein brand dehydrator but during abundant harvest, a second is not useless. Both work well and it's much easier and faster than working with an oven. On this latest model there is no timer. Me, I connect both at the same time but you still have to check the level of drying according to the result you want. It is even better to stop it from time to time and reverse the position of the plates for an even result. This timer is therefore not an essential accessory. Since I also had the possibility, I tried to make yoghurt with a liter of whole milk and a sachet of lactic ferment. After eight hours at the temperature set on the thermostat, I obtained excellent yoghurt, without preservatives and which were appreciated by my grandchildren. They keep for several days in the refrigerator. I will try later adding some fresh fruit juices. There is nothing like doing it yourself to have quality products and the satisfaction of homemade. The user manual is in German and English but the operation is so simple that you can easily do without it. And for recipes, or drying techniques, there are excellent specialized sites on the internet.

I'm a big fan of apple chips and that's why I spontaneously bought this dehydrator. The highlight of this device is that it is also a yoghurt maker. It is super easy to use and there are no loud noises or strange smells. The dehydration is also super fast and the warm air circulation works very well. The individual tiers can be stacked easily and the yoghurt that the yofruit makes tastes fantastic.
