I'm very happy with the hob. It's only been installed for a few days, but it's beautiful, responds well to touch controls, and heats up quickly and efficiently. I also had to handle some issues with Klarstein's customer service, and they were friendly and helpful. So far, everything's great; it has my vote of confidence.

Das Kochfeld passt gut zur weißen Küche, insbesondere, da es sich ohne für mich eher störenden Rand auf der Arbeitsplatte einfügt. Die Bedienungsanleitung ist gut verständlich, der Klarstein-support hat mit einer Extra-E-Mail Hilfe angeboten. Ich bin -ob des guten Preises- bisher begeistert.

The Klarstein induction hob was installed yesterday and I'm impressed by its white appearance and good installation instructions. It's more intuitive to use than our old AEG hob; even my wife, who often has trouble with touchscreens, can operate it easily. The hob fits well in the white kitchen, especially since it blends in with the countertop without the edge, which I find rather distracting. The instruction manual is easy to understand, and Klarstein support offered assistance via a dedicated email. I'm impressed so far, given the good price.

We finally received our new stove today! After there were some problems with the delivery (GLS's fault!), the seller responded really well, but a second delivery attempt was still necessary! Unser Induktionsfeld eines namhaften Herstellers für übet 1000€ war nach 7 Jahren schon kaputt. Das hat uns so geärgert, dass wir dieses mal ein günstiges Produkt ausprobieren wollten. Positiv: Die flexiblen Zonen funktionieren super. Die Leistung ist top. Das Nudelwasser kocht nach wenigen Minuten und deutlich schneller als beim 7 Jahre alten Markenprodukt. Das rahmenlose Design ist toll und sehr schlicht. Wenn man z. B. nur auf Stufe 4 kocht wird die Leistung in Intervallen abgegeben. Kocht - kocht nicht - kocht - kocht nicht. Zwei Punkte sind nicht optimal: Man hört den Lüfter schon deutlich, das geht aber unterm sobald die Dunstabzugshaube läuft. Es nervt etwas, dass man die Platte immer wieder neu auswählen muss, bevor man die Stufe anpassen kann. Selbst, wenn nur eine Platte benutzt wird. Das ist aber alles meckern auf sehr hohem Niveau, wenn man den Preis berücksichtigt. Über die Haltbarkeit können wir noch nichts sagen. Wenn das Teil 3-4 Jahre hält wäre ich zufrieden.

Our induction hob from a reputable manufacturer, which cost over €1,000, broke after 7 years. This annoyed us so much that we wanted to try a cheaper product this time. Positive: The flexible zones work great. The performance is top-notch. The pasta boils in just a few minutes, significantly faster than with the 7-year-old brand-name product. The frameless design is great and very simple. If, for example, you only cook on level 4, the power is released in intervals. Boils – doesn't boil – boils – doesn't boil. Two points aren't ideal: You can definitely hear the fan, but that goes away once the extractor hood is running. It's a bit annoying that you have to keep reselecting the hob before you can adjust the level, even when only using one hob. But that's all just nitpicking at a very high level considering the price. We can't say anything about its durability yet. If this thing lasts 3-4 years, I'd be satisfied.

Ich habe mich für dieses Kochfeld als Ersatz für mein altes, defektes Induktionskochfeld entschieden. BIs jetzt bin ich sehr zufrieden. Es hat gute Funktionen, lässt sich intuitiv bedienen und sieht toll aus. Ich finde die Lüfter nicht zu laut und im Vergleich zu meinem alten Kochfeld sind sie sogar sehr leise. Es hat genügend Power, um schnell z.B. Wasser zum Kochen zu bringen und auch die einzelnen Stufen sind bestens auf die verschiedenen Bedarfe abgestimmt. Man muss sich umstellen, weil man hier auf kleiner Stufe schon ordentlich Wärme erzeugt. Für den Preis und mit den Funktionen kann das Kochfeld durchaus mit höherpreisigen Varianten mithalten. Da ich das Kochfeld erst einige Tage in Gebrauch habe, werde ich ergänzen, sollte es nötig sein.

I chose this hob to replace my old, broken induction hob. So far, I'm very happy with it. It has good features, is intuitive to use, and looks great. I don't find the fans too loud, and compared to my old hob, they're actually very quiet. It has enough power to quickly boil water, for example, and the individual settings are perfectly tailored to different needs. You do have to get used to it, because even on a low setting it generates a lot of heat. For the price and with the features, the hob can definitely keep up with more expensive versions. Since I've only been using the hob for a few days, I'll add to it if necessary.

Habe den Artikel kurz vorm Prime-Day gekauft. Am Prime-Day wurde dieser reduziert. Daraufhin habe ich beim Kundenservice nach einer Gutschrift gefragt. Nach dem Beweis (Screenshot) habe ich ohne wenn und aber die Differenz erstattet bekommen. Das Kochfeld funktioniert fehlerfrei, ist zwar etwas lauter als ein Premium Modell aber meine Dunstabzugshaube ist nochmal wesentlich lauter als das Kochfeld selber. Für den Preis kann man echt nicht meckern. Langzeiterfahrung kann ich noch keine liefern.

I bought the item shortly before Prime Day. It was on sale on Prime Day. I then asked customer service for a credit. After providing proof (a screenshot), I was refunded the difference without any ifs, ands, or buts. The cooktop works flawlessly; it's a bit louder than a premium model, but my extractor hood is considerably louder than the cooktop itself. For the price, you really can't complain. I can't offer any long-term experience with it yet.

Februar + Juli 2022: Erfahrungen nach einem Jahr Einsatz ------------------------------------------- Immer noch bekomme ich glänzende Augen, wenn ich gleich an dem Gerät kochen darf... ;-)) Ja, es macht schlicht Spaß. Obwohl das gute Stück täglich in Betrieb ist und auch als Ablage genommen wird - es sind auch noch keine Kratzer drauf. Und auch keine "Dauer"-Verschmutzungen. "Problem", dass die Tasten schwer reagieren: ---------------------------------------------------- Das liegt an den Finger (ja, ehrlich) - einfach kurz anfeuchten (also die Finger) dann klappst auch mit den Tasten. "Problem", dass die Platten sich von alleine ausschalten: ----------------------------------------------------------------- Kann ich nicht nachvollziehen. Ist mir noch nie passiert. Und noch ein Tipp: Kaufen Sie sich eine gute Eisenpfanne für die größere Platte und machen Sie das beste Steak und die besten Bratkartoffeln. GENIAL... Immer noch: Sehr zu empfehlen. ####################################### Februar 2021: Das Paket wurde in einem riesigen Karton geliefert. Durch die Mengen von Füllmaterial war es aber gut geschützt. Das Induktionsfeld selbst befand sich dann noch einmal in einem Karton in dem dann endlich der Produktkarton war.... Also da kann nichts kaputt gehen. Das Induktionsfeld sollte ein Ceranfeld ersetzen - eine Öffnung in den von Klarstein angegebenen Maßen von 560 x 490 war vorhanden. Das ist ein übliches Maß für solche Felder. NUR: Klarstein hat vergessen, dass die Schrauben des Bodens auch noch an jeder Seite vorstehen und die Klammern auch noch Platz brauchen. Es wird zwar beschrieben, dass rundrum noch je mind. 3mm Platz sein sollen - nur die sind nicht eingezeichnet. Und damit muss man die vorhandene Öffnung mühsam vergrößern. Warum man den Bodendeckel nicht einfach etwas kleiner gemacht hat, weiß wohl nur der Ingenieur - der das Teil NIEMALS eingebaut hat. Ok, wir haben das entsprechende Werkzeug. Aber der Normalheimwerker dürfte überfordert sein. Das Anschlußkabel kommt hinten mittig (!) in (!) der Arbeitsplatte raus. Also man muss die Arbeitsplatte unten so aufschnitzen, dass das Kabel nach unten kommen kann. Wer hat sich denn das ausgedacht???? Das der Einbau so frickelig ist, ist einfach schade - denn das Induktionsfeld selbst ist klasse. Es sieht richtig cool aus und die Bedienung ist selbsterklärend. Die Lautstärke der Lüfter ist ok, die "ich nehme mal gerade den Topf runter"-Funktion sehr gut gelöst. Und die Boost-Funktion gibt so richtig Speed unter dem Topf. Aber bitte nie bei Pfannen zum Aufheizen nehmen - die gehen schneller kaputt als man denkt. Pfannen erst mit 3 anheizen - geben Sie dem Material Zeit, sich der Hitze anzupassen. Stellt man z.B. an 2 Platten die Boost-Funktion ein, dann laufen die Lüfter unter Volllast mit entsprechender Lärmkulisse. Es kommt dabei richtig heiße Luft aus dem Lüftungsschlitz (siehe Einbauanleitung). Ich habe die Temperatur dabei nicht gemessen - aber das Empfinden sagte mir, doch nur 1x Boost zu benutzen. Und gefühlt ist das mit dem Boost auch nicht so richtig sinnvoll. Bei den niedrigeren Heizstufen wird getaktet - also nicht einfach das Magnetfeld reduziert, sondern mit voller Energie gepulst. Das ist technisch eine gute und auch übliche Lösung, denn es kommt dann das volle Magnetfeld im Topf an. Man hört zwar das leichte Klicken der mechanischen Relais - aber das ist ok. Bei teureren Geräten ist das ähnlich - nur man hört das Klicken nicht, da oft elektronische Relais eingebaut sind. Warum es hier Rezensionen gibt, die das als Nachteil werten, kann ich nicht nachvollziehen. Das Sliderrad ist ok und praktisch - wenn auch ungewöhnlich. Aber man kann damit gut die 9 Stufen anwählen. Die Sensortasten funktionieren super. Falls nicht: einfach den Finger kurz anfeuchten. Beim Reinigen geht in der Regel die Verriegelung der Tasten an (Lo für Locked). Hier gibt es Rezensionen, bei die Autor:innen nicht in der Lage sind, das Handbuch zu lesen. Deshalb: Entriegeln indem man je 1 Finger links und rechts neben Lo auf die Symbole legt und etwas wartet. Und wieder auf.... Wir reinigen übrigens recht simpel: auf die kalte Glasfläche einen Schuß Spülmittel, mit Spülbürste verteilen, kurz einwirken lassen und mit dem Spüllappen abwischen. Danach mit dem Geschirrtuch drüber wischen und fertig. Diese ganzen Ceranreiniger sind einfach nur "Müll" und Umweltverschmutzung. Noch ein Tipp: Einige Pfannen und Töpfe hinterlassen bei starker Erhitzung manchmal einen grauen Schleier auf dem Glasfeld. Gerade, wenn die Pfannen die ersten Male diese Power zu spüren bekommen. Diese "blinde" Schicht geht nicht unbedingt mit normaler Reinigung ab. Dazu einfach (jetzt doch) CERAN-Reiniger nehmen, abreiben und alles ist wieder gut. Und die Eisenpfannen? Perfekt für Induktion - aber bitte nur langsam aufheizen. Erst mit ca. 3 anheizen und dann höher stellen. Die Pfannen sind fast sofort heiß. In der Regel reicht max. die Einstellung 6-7 (von 9) um Steaks gut anzubraten. Ich bin auf jeden Fall begeistert von dem Feld. Und nicht zuletzt sieht das Teil einfach durch den Glasrand und die rechteckigen Kochflächen richtig cool aus. Der Preis selbst ist echt ein Knaller - zumindest bis zum 22.02.21... Eigentlich wäre das Feld gut für 5 Sterne - aber die Probleme beim Einbau wegen echter Konstruktionsfehler gibt es nur 4 Sterne. Aber wie auch immer: ich würde es wieder kaufen, weil das Induktionsfeld durch Optik und Funktion überzeugt.

And another tip: Buy a good iron pan for the larger burner and make the best steak and the best fried potatoes. AWESOME... Still: Highly recommended. ####################################### February 2021: The package arrived in a huge box. But it was well protected by the amount of filler material. The induction hob itself was then placed in another box, which finally contained the product box... So nothing can break there. The induction hob was supposed to replace a ceramic hob - an opening in the dimensions specified by Klarstein of 560 x 490 was available. This is a standard size for such hobs. ONLY: Klarstein forgot that the base screws also protrude on each side and the clamps also need space. It is described that there should be at least 3 mm of space all around - but this is not shown. And to do this, you have to laboriously enlarge the existing opening. Why they didn't simply make the base cover a little smaller is something only the engineer knows - he NEVER installed the part. Okay, we have the right tools. But the average DIYer would probably be overwhelmed. The connection cable comes out in the back center (!) in (!) the worktop. So you have to carve open the worktop at the bottom so that the cable can reach down. Who thought of that???? It's a shame that the installation is so fiddly – because the induction hob itself is great. It looks really cool and the operation is self-explanatory. The fan noise is OK, the "I'm just putting the pot down" function is very well implemented. And the boost function really speeds up the cooking process. But please never use it to heat up pans – they break faster than you think. Only heat up pans with three – give the material time to adapt to the heat. If you set the boost function on two hobs, for example, the fans run at full speed and are quite noisy. Really hot air comes out of the ventilation slot (see installation instructions). I didn't measure the temperature – but my gut feeling told me to only use the boost once. And the boost doesn't really make sense either. At the lower heat settings, it's cycled – meaning it doesn't simply reduce the magnetic field, but pulses it with full power. This is technically a good and common solution, as the full magnetic field then reaches the pot. You can hear the slight click of the mechanical relays, but that's okay. More expensive appliances have a similar behavior—except you can't hear the click, as electronic relays are often built in. I don't understand why there are reviews here that consider this a disadvantage. The slider wheel is okay and practical—albeit unusual. But you can easily select the 9 levels with it. The sensor buttons work great. If not, just moisten your finger briefly. When cleaning, the buttons usually lock (Lo for Locked). There are reviews here where the authors are unable to read the manual. Therefore: unlock by placing one finger each on the left and right of the Lo symbols and wait a while. And then unlock again.... By the way, we clean it quite simply: apply a splash of dish soap to the cold glass surface, spread it with a dish brush, let it work for a short time, and wipe it off with a dishcloth. Then wipe it over with a dishcloth, and you're done. All these ceramic cleaners are just "garbage" and pollute the environment. Another tip: Some pans and pots sometimes leave a gray film on the glass hob when heated to high temperatures. Especially when the pans first experience this power. This "blind" layer doesn't necessarily come off with normal cleaning. Simply use ceramic cleaner (now you can), rub it off, and everything will be fine again. And the iron pans? Perfect for induction – but please heat up slowly. First heat up to about 3 and then increase the temperature. The pans heat up almost immediately. Usually, a setting of 6-7 (out of 9) is sufficient for searing steaks well. I'm definitely thrilled with the hob. And last but not least, the thing just looks really cool thanks to the glass rim and the rectangular cooking surfaces. The price itself is really great – at least until February 22, 2021... Actually, the hob would be good for 5 stars – but the installation issues due to genuine design flaws only get 4 stars. But anyway: I would buy it again because the induction hob is impressive in terms of both appearance and function.
