What may seem at first glance to be a beautiful retro suitcase from the 1950s is actually the new Peggy Sue portable turntable from the Nostalgy by auna series. The device not only plays three different record sizes, it also gives you the possibility of converting the music from your personal favourite records into a compact digital format.
To this end, the device features a rear USB port, with which the LP signal can be easily sent on to a computer - the right connection cable and the necessary software (‘Audacity’) for USB-PC encoding are included. This can also simultaneously power the Nostalgy by auna Peggy Sue turntable. An appropriate USB cable and USB power adapter for connection to AC power is supplied with delivery.
The Nostalgy by auna Peggy Sue record player requires no additional speakers, as the smart case houses two built-in stereo speakers. Nevertheless, the turntable offers the possibility of connecting external speakers or stereo systems via the rear stereo RCA line output.The volume can be infinitely adjusted directly on the device via a rotary control.
A special highlight: the Peggy Sue record player comes in a robust MDF design case with synthetic leather covering, fittings in rose gold look, clip closure and carrying handle. This makes for not only a visually stunning design in a retro look, but allows you to take the record player along with you anywhere - for example, to an atmospheric nostalgia picnic in the garden.

Der Plattenspieler ist Nostalgie pur. Nicht nur dekorativ ein Träumchen, sondern auch für kleines Geld, ein sehr schönes Klangerlebnis. Jetzt kann ich endlich wieder Omis alte Jazz Platten auflegen und mich an unsere gemeinsame Zeit erinnern. Sicherlich werde ich mir in Zukunft jetzt auch wieder, das ein oder andere Vinyl Schätzchen gönnen.
The turntable is pure nostalgia. Not just a decorative dream, but also a very nice sound experience for little money. Now I can finally put on Grandma's old jazz records again and remember our time together. I'm sure I'll treat myself to one or two vinyl sweethearts again in the future.
Guter Plattenspieler für wenig Geld, die Tonqualität passt, hat natürlich nicht den Sound einer HiFi Anlage, aber das sollte klar sein.
Good record player for little money, the sound quality is okay, of course it doesn't have the sound of a hi-fi system, but that should be obvious.
Der Koffer sieht toll aus. Platten klingen mit den 2 Lautsprechern ganz gut. Anschlussmöglichkeiten für bessere Klangqualität ist vorhanden. Auch einen Kopfhöreranschluss gibt es. Automatisches abschalten bei Ende der Platten finde ich gut. Ich hätte mir noch einen Nadelpinsel und ein Antistatiktuch gewünscht.
The suitcase looks great. Records sound quite good with the 2 speakers. Connection options for better sound quality are available. There is also a headphone jack. I like the automatic switch off when the record ends. I would have liked a needle brush and an antistatic cloth.
Sehr schnelle Lieferung, Preis/Leistung top. Habe mich richtig gefreut endlich meine Schallplatten aus Kindertagen wieder zu hören. Deshalb wollte ich nicht zu viel Geld ausgeben und dafür habe ich mehr als erwartet bekommen. Auch sehr dekorativ im Wohnzimmer.

Ich bin ehrlich- bei dem Preis habe ich wirklich nicht viel erwartet. Aber ich bin positiv überrascht! Ich wollte gern die alten Platten, die ich als Kind in der Weihnachtszeit gehört habe, wieder hören. Gleichzeitig wollte ich aber nicht viel Geld ausgeben und einen kompakten und optisch schönen Plattenspieler haben. Für meine Zwecke- zum ab und zu Platten hören - ist der Spieler völlig ausreichend und echt perfekt! Er ist wirklich schön anzusehen, ist simpel von der Bedienung und selbsterklärend. Sicher ist er von der Verarbeitung nicht mit teuren Modellen zu vergleichen, aber für mich ist er super. Den Ton finde ich völlig in Ordnung und auch laut genug. Ich hoffe, er funktioniert noch lange. Würde ich wieder kaufen!
To be honest, I really wasn't expecting much for the price. But I'm pleasantly surprised! I'd like to hear the old records I used to listen to at Christmas time as a kid. At the same time, I didn't want to spend a lot of money and wanted to have a compact and visually appealing turntable. For my purposes - to listen to records from time to time - the player is completely sufficient and really perfect! It is really nice to look at, simple to use and self-explanatory. Certainly it cannot be compared with expensive models in terms of workmanship, but for me it is great. I think the sound is fine and loud enough. I hope it works for a long time. Would I buy again!
