Electric kettle in 1950s tea kettle design
1850 W power for turbo heating
1.8 litre volume (minimum filling: 0.8 l)
Product description
Simply switch off and relax - with a steaming cup of tea or a creamy cappuccino. When soothing tea aromas pass through the kitchen or the office, worries fade and the hustle and bustle decelerates gently so that you can be reinvigorated. The optimistic exterior of the tea kettle revives the aesthetic of the 1950s, bringing with it memories of nostalgic rock ’n’ roll and economic boom into the modern day.
The inner workings of the Klarstein Teatime kettle are just as convincing: up to 1.8 litres of water are quickly brought to a boil by the powerful 1850 W heating element. A level gauge at the rear and a large lid opening ensure easy filling. In addition to its performance, the cheerful kettle’s high quality is evidenced by its taste-neutral interior: easy-to-clean stainless steel guarantees a genuine enjoyment of hot drinks and snacks. A removable decalcification filter made of stainless steel works to directly improve the quality of hard water when pouring.
The ruby red water container is lifted from the 360 ° base using the softly curved cool-touch handle so that it may be safely carried along with its hot contents to any desired location in the kitchen, home or office.

-max. 1,8 l Fassungsvermögen
-verdeckes Heizelement
-bringt Wasser schnell zum Kochen
-automatische Abschaltung
It's a retro style kettle. The optics are right. Although it looks bulbous like a teapot, it is narrower and taller. It offers everything that makes a good kettle: -max. 1.8 l capacity -concealed heating element -boils water quickly -automatic switch-off -switches off even if it is removed from the base prematurely -operating light -removable metal filter screen -filling indicator -cable can be partially stowed in the base -cool-touch handles -drip-free spout So far I haven't noticed anything negative. What I don't like are the slots in the top handle. Did you make them accidentally or do they serve a specific purpose? Perhaps there is a simple explanation for this. For cleaning I use vinegar or citric acid. You can even get into the kettle with your hand to wipe it out, as the opening is relatively large. The Teatime is very well made and is recommended as a kettle.
