The handmade incubatorhas some cavities in the wood and also numerous bamboo tubes that have proven themselves as nesting and sleeping places for bees. There are also four chambers that are filled with pine cones, sawdust or pieces of wood - these primarily attract flies and beetles! In the middle there is a butterfly house, which offers the animals a suitable retreat and a welcome winter quarters.

Hang up the beneficial insect hotel from blumfeldt in a wind and moisture-protected location outside and leave it in place all year round. Bees like it warm and sunny - so orient the insect house to the south or southeast. The nesting box needs a clear approach lane and lots of plants nearby.

Das Hotel wartet bis zum Frühjahr auf seine "Eröffnung". Ob es hält was es verspricht, wird sich zeigen ( von der Optik, sieht es gut aus.)
The hotel is waiting for its "opening" until spring. Whether it keeps what it promises remains to be seen (from the optics, it looks good.)
Das Insektenhotel selbst sieht recht wertig verarbeitet aus, insbesondere das Metalldach - Haltbarkeit und Wetterfestigkeit kann ich noch nicht bewerten, allerdings steht meines noch regengeschützt unter einer zusätzlichen Überdachung. Punkteabzug für die billigst verarbeiteten Erdspieße. Von einem davon stand schon beim Auspacken ein Holzsplitter ab, der dann auch abbrach. Die Erdspieße sahen auch roh aus, also nicht imprägniert, eine lange Haltbarkeit bezweifle ich deshalb. Im nassen Erdreich würden sie sicher bald verrotten. Aufgrunddessen habe ich vorhandene Metallstreben eines Regales verwendet, in diese Löcher gebohrt und sie seitlich mit dem Insektenhotel verschraubt und dieses so in die Erde gesteckt. Sieht nun noch wertiger aus und wird sicher - zumindest was die Erdspieße betrifft - länger halten.
The insect hotel itself looks very well made, especially the metal roof - I can't rate durability and weather resistance yet, but mine is still protected from the rain under an additional roof. Points deducted for the cheapest processed ground spikes. A splinter of wood was already sticking out of one of them when it was unpacked, which then also broke off. The ground spikes also looked raw, i.e. not impregnated, so I doubt a long shelf life. They would surely soon rot in the wet soil. For this reason I used existing metal struts from a shelf, drilled holes in them and screwed them to the side of the insect hotel and stuck it into the ground. It now looks even more valuable and will certainly last longer - at least as far as the ground spikes are concerned.
Sieht schön aus und erfüllt hoffentlich seinen Zweck. Natürlich muss man sagen dass für das Geld schon recht wenig Inhalt drinnen ist. Aber es mangelt halt an Alternativen mit Pfosten für die Erde. So ist es dann wieder ok. Muss einem halt wert sein.
Looks nice and hopefully serves its purpose. Of course you have to say that there is very little content for the money. But there is a lack of alternatives with posts for the ground. Then it's ok again. Must be worth it.
Das Hotel ist sowohl aufhängbar wie in den Boden zu stellen. 2 Füße aus Holz können an die Seite geschraubt werden und das Haus kann so mehrere CM über den Boden fixiert werden. Damit es nicht umkippt, sollte die Erde um die Füße stark verdichtet werden. Ob es genutzt wird, wird die Zeit zeigen :-) Meine neugierigen Katzen hat es auf jeden Fall überlebt :-)
The hotel can be hung up or placed in the ground. 2 wooden feet can be screwed to the side and the house can be fixed several cm above the ground. To prevent it from tipping over, the earth around the feet should be heavily compacted. Time will tell if it will be used :-) It definitely survived my curious cats :-)

Das Häuschen war durch einen Transportschaden defekt, macht aber auch sonst nicht so einen stabilen Eindruck. Seitenwand und Dach lösen sich voneinander. Von den 4 Schrauben für die Aufstellfüße war eine ganz krumm, die Zwischenwände zwischen den einzelnen Kammern sind so kurz, dass das Material aus der einen in die andere Kammer wandert. Als ersten günstigen Versuch kann man es gebrauchen.
The house was defective due to transport damage, but it doesn't make such a stable impression otherwise. Side wall and roof detach from each other. One of the 4 screws for the feet was very crooked, the partitions between the individual chambers are so short that the material migrates from one chamber to the other. You can use it as a cheap first try.
Nicht gut verpackt, da das Insektenhotel ohne Polsterung in den Karton gequetscht wurde, ist das weiche Metalldach leicht eingedrückt, die Bambusröhrchen sind teilweise locker und sehr schief. Da muss ich noch einiges nachbessern.
Not well packaged, because the insect hotel was squeezed into the box without padding, the soft metal roof is slightly dented, the bamboo tubes are partially loose and very crooked. I still have to improve a few things.
Also ich kann nix negatives sagen ist alles toll . Verarbeitung, aussehen, so wie alle Löcher gefüllt. Das einzige was nicht schön ist sind wirklich die Füße die sindwirklich zu kurz könnten länger sein. DDeswegen nur vier Sterne.
So I can't say anything negative, everything is great. Processing, look like all the holes filled. The only thing that isn't nice are the feet, they are really too short and could be longer. Therefore only four stars.
Das Insektenhotel kommt nun in den Garten. Wertige Verarbeitung... Wir werden aber die "Füße" länger machen, damit das Hotel ca. ! m über dem Erdreich steht. Danke

Das Insektenhotel ist wirklich sehr schön.....gut gebaut und ganz leicht die Füsse dran zu Schrauben....denke aber dass ich es zu spät aufgestellt habe da noch keine Bewohner vorhanden sind.....lasse mich nächstes Jahr überraschen...hoffe dass ich dann viele Gäste im Hotel habe......
The insect hotel is really very nice.....well built and very easy to put your feet on....but I think I put it up too late because there are no residents yet.....let me surprise you next year ...hope that I will have many guests in the hotel then......
Das Insektenhotel ist groß und wirkt hochwertig und gut durchdacht. Die Lieferung war schnell und der Aufbau kinderleicht. Eine Information, was bei der richtigen Standortwahl zu beachten ist, wäre noch wünschenswert. Hier konnte das Internet aber helfen. Wir sind gespannt, wie das Hotel angenommen wird und freuen uns auf die ersten tierischen Gäste.
The insect hotel is large and appears high quality and well thought out. Delivery was quick and assembly was easy. Information on what to consider when choosing the right location would be desirable. But the internet could help here. We are curious how the hotel will be accepted and look forward to the first animal guests.

Wow was für ein schönes Insektenhotel. Habe mir dies hier für den Garten bestellt und sofort im Halbschatten platziert. Die Holzstützen waren ganz leicht abzuschrauben, da schon alles vorgebohrt ist. Das Dach vom Häuschen ist verkleidet mit einem Blech, damit es vor Regen geschützter ist. Insgesamt eine sehr hochwertige Verarbeitung. Hatte mir vom gleichen Hersteller auch eins für den Balkon bestellt und bin damit auch sehr zufrieden. Vielen Dank. Ihre Produkte sind sehr zu empfehlen .
Wow what a nice insect hotel. I ordered this for the garden and immediately placed it in partial shade. The wooden supports were easy to unscrew because everything is already pre-drilled. The roof of the cottage is covered with sheet metal to protect it from rain. Overall a very high quality finish. I also ordered one for the balcony from the same manufacturer and I am very satisfied with it. Thanks very much. Your products are highly recommended.
