Sehr gute Verarbeitung und hervorragender Klang, schon mit meinen Mini-Regallautsprechern von Dali klingt das richtig gut - den Loudness-Knopf braucht man nicht. Bluetooth klappt 1a. Feines und ausgewogenes Klangbild, ich höre gerne Jazz und groovige Sachen aber auch mal Klassik. Für das Geld macht man auf jeden Fall keinen Fehler, schickes Holzgehäuse und gute Knöpfe und Drehregler. Die Kritik an dem etwas leicht anmutenden Lautstärkeregler kann ich einerseits nachvollziehen, andererseits ist das ein Dreh-/Druckknopf, der gleichzeitig die Mute-Funktion bietet: daher finde ich das völlig im Rahmen. Sehr schick und praktisch ist auch der LED-Ring um den Lautstärkeregler, der die aktuelle Einstellung unaufdringlich anzeigt. Das ganze klappt auch sehr gut mit der schlichten aber genau richtig ausgestatteten Fernbedienung. Das einzige, was man mit dieser nicht einstellen kann, ist der Klang - aber welcher Hersteller bietet das schon? Und zudem ist sogar Loudness per Fernbedienung zuschaltbar. Kurzum, bin nach einigen Stunden Probehören echt begeistert von diesem Verstärker und kann nur zum Kauf raten. Höreindrücke sind schon Subjektiv aber ich bin seit 30 Jahren Musiker und meine schon, ein ganz gutes Ohr zu haben. Wirklich, ein sehr musikalisch klingender Amp, hat absolut nichts zu tun mit irgendwelchen billigen Bluetooth -Verstärkern, die teils so angeboten werden. Habe mir noch die Numan Retrospective 1977 Standlautsprecher dazu gekauft, habe die Kombination aber noch nicht angetestet. Wie gesagt, bereits mit den kleinen Dali-Lautsprechern spielt einen das Teil an die Wand und klingt dabei ganz großartig. Ich übertreibe kein Stück - klare Kaufempfehlung! Da muss man sich bei Numan wohl noch auf einiges gefasst machen.. bin gespannt! Beste Grüße aus Dänemark.

Very good workmanship and excellent sound, even with my mini bookshelf speakers from Dali it sounds really good - you don't need the loudness button. Bluetooth works 1a. Fine and balanced sound, I like to listen to jazz and groovy things, but also to classical music. You definitely can't go wrong for the money, nice wooden case and good knobs and dials. On the one hand, I can understand the criticism of the volume control, which seems a bit light, on the other hand, it is a rotary/push button that also offers the mute function: so I find that completely acceptable. The LED ring around the volume control, which unobtrusively displays the current setting, is also very chic and practical. The whole thing works very well with the simple but just right equipped remote control. The only thing you can't adjust with this is the sound - but which manufacturer offers that? I also bought the Numan Retrospective 1977 floorstanding speakers, but haven't tested the combination yet. Toller Verstärker. Kauf hat sich echt gelohnt. Trotzdem ein paar kleine Kritiken: Der Phonoverstärker hat ein starkes Eigengeräusch, mit und ohne Massenausgleich angeschlossen, kein Unterschied (mein Glück: der eingebaute Vorverstärker meines TEAC Plattenspielers macht es ohne Geräusche, also Anschluss an einem der 3 Line Eingängen und das Problrm war behoben). Die Fernbedienung ist nicht 100% familienrein, andere Fernbedienungen von guten Geräten schalten den Verstärker auch. Trotzdem, klare Kaufempfehlung!

Great amp. Purchase was really worth it. Nevertheless, a few small criticisms: The phono amplifier has a strong inherent noise, connected with and without mass balance, no difference (my luck: the built-in preamplifier of my TEAC record player does it without noise, so connect it to one of the 3 line inputs and the problem was solved) . Der Verstärker ist leider nicht so leistungsfähig, wie es vom Hersteller angegeben wird. 2x170 Watt ist es nicht. Ich habe mit dem Verstärker zwei Regallautsprecher Numan 1978II MK(100watt rms) gekauft. Also sollte alles zusammen passen, beides von einer Firma, technische Daten stimmen auch. Jedoch war der Sound etwas schwach. Dann müsste man den Lautstärkeregler über 50% drehen, damit es laut genug ist. Den Unterschied habe ich wirklich verstanden, als ich noch Denon PMA 600 NE gekauft habe, und an die Numan Lautsprecher angeschlossen habe. Deutlich lauterer und sauberer Klang. Ja, Denon ist ca. 130 € teurer als Numan, aber das lohnt sich.

Unfortunately, the amplifier is not as powerful as the manufacturer claims. It's not 2x170 watts. I bought two bookshelf speakers Numan 1978II MK(100watt rms) with the amplifier. So everything should fit together, both from one company, technical data are also correct. However, the sound was a bit weak. Vorab zur Info habe das Numan Retrospektive set gekauft 1978 mk 2 und den retrosub alles gut aufeinander abgestimmt und gut verarbeitet in anbetracht des Preises! aber der Numan Drive verstärker hat meiner meinung nach das schlechteste verhältniss zum preis da er doch bei ein paar Bestandteilen zu schlechte Materialien verbaut hat. Zum Beispiel alle potenziometer haben eine schlechte Haptik und sind zum Teil nicht gerade verbaut so das die mittelmakierungen alle leicht nach rechts zeigen. Aber davon abgesehen ist der Numan Drive kein Reinfall er hat einen guten Phono MM Vorverstärker und sehr viele Anschluß möglichkeiten+ein gutes Bluetooth aber im Vergleich zu einem preislich gleichwertigen Analog verstärker nicht die angegebene Leistung. Werde ihn gegen etwas hochwertigeres austauschen und den Numan Drive als Party keller Verstärker nutzen. Nicht falsch verstehen es ist ein gutes Gerät aber wer etwas gehobener Musik hören möchte der wird damit nicht glücklich werden.

Ich weiß nicht wo ich anfangen soll. Ich betreibe den Verstärker mit 2 Pioneer CS-995 von 1988 und einem Subwoofer von Canton (Canton 03724 AS 2020). Bisher hab ich mich nur getraut das Gerät auf ca. 60% laufen zu lassen, da es dann schon ordentlich laut wurde und ich die Nachbarn verärgern wollte ;) Dazu kann ich sagen: selbst wenns lauter werden soll hat man keinesfalls das Gefühl, dass der Verstärker leistungstechnisch an seine Grenzen stößt. Bässe bleiben voll, satt und ausgeglichen. Höhen sind stets sehr fein und stechen keinesfalls in den Ohren. Als jemand der sehr sehr gern meckert wenn es um Sound geht, kann ich mehr als überzeugt sagen, die Firma Numan hat mich mehr als überzeugt mit diesem Kraftpaket. Der teilweise bemängelte Lautstärkeregler fühlt sich in der Tat nicht ganz so schön an wie die Regler für Bass und Höhen, aber das stört nicht im Geringsten. Klare 5 von 5 Sterne und eine Kaufempfehlung für jeden der für nicht großes Geld ein sehr großes Klangerlebnis sucht.

I don't know where to start. I operate the amplifier with 2 Pioneer CS-995 from 1988 and a subwoofer from Canton (Canton 03724 AS 2020). Der Verstärker ist von der Verarbeitung und der Optik echt top. Alles funktioniert wie es sein soll. Der Klang ist echt super. Hatte aber bei meinem ersten Gerät ein kleines Problem mit dem Optical kabel (toslink), das sass nicht richtig fest und wackelte, dadurch gab es Tonaussetzer. Daraufhin rief ich bei der Numan Kundenservice an, die schickten mir anstandslos einen Retourschein per Email. Schickte das erste Gerät dann zurück, bekam nach 10 Tagen ein komplettes neues Gerät. Bin echt sehr zufrieden mit dem Service, hat alles reibungslos geklappt und das neue Gerät funktioniert einwandfrei. Vielen Dank an Numan! Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen!

The amplifier is really great in terms of processing and optics. Everything works as it should. The sound is really great. But with my first device, I had a small problem with the optical cable (toslink), which was not properly seated and wobbled, causing the sound to drop out. I then called Numan customer service, and they emailed me a return slip without hesitation. Then sent the first device back, got a completely new device after 10 days. I'm really very satisfied with the service, everything went smoothly and the new device works perfectly. Many thanks to Numan! I can only recommend!

Ich suchte Ersatz für meine lange Jahre geschätzten aktiven Lautsprecher, da ich Lust auf mehr Leistung hatte und inzwischen die Theorie vertrat, dass Lautsprecher einfach besser klingen, wenn sie ein gewisses Volumen haben. Daher bestellte ich mir ein Paar günstige Standlautsprecher und brauchte dazu einen Amp. Vorgabe war: Phono-Anschluss, Digital Input für den Fernseher und Bluetooth. Dolby ist für mich kein Thema, lieber ehrliches differenziertes Stereo. Am Fernseher schaue ich hauptsächlich Livekonzerte zB via YouTube. Der Verstärker wurde zügig geliefert, ist super verpackt und kommt im stylischen Logo-Beutel mit weißen Stoffhandschuhen (!!!). Lustig! Eine einfache Fernbedienung ist dabei, außerdem ein Klinke-Adapter (Mini/Normal) und ein cinch-Kabel. Sehr schön! In weiß sieht das Teil edel aus und passt gut zu unseren Möbeln, die Frau ist also auch happy. Der Verstärker ist größer als ich von den Fotos her vermutet hatte, der Plattenspieler passt gut drauf. Die Regler wirken leider SEHR billig. Die Ton-Regler sind außerdem in der Mittelstellung nicht 100%ig vertikal. Eine Kleinigkeit, aber sowas stört mich. Nettes Feature ist der beleuchtete Lautstärkeregler, ein weißer LED-Ring zeigt die Lautstärke an. Der Klang ist nach einigen Einstellungen an den Klangreglern wirklich gut! Sehr differenziert, zB meine alten Dire Straits Platten kommen differenziert und organisch rüber. Mit aktivierter Loudness-Funktion geht richtig die Post ab, das ist mir aber viel zu ungestüm. Mehr Equalizer hätte mir geholfen, die Mitten fallen etwas zurück. Trotzdem fand ich eine Einstellung mit der ich zufrieden bin. Meine Wavemaster-Aktivboxen hatten damals so viel gekostet wie dieser komplette Verstärker und klingen natürlich deutlich besser, aber es fehlte mir an Kraft. Die bringt dieser Verstärker nun, dafür klingt er nicht ganz so gut. Für das Geld leistet er also genau das was ich gesucht habe! Bluetooth funktioniert einwandfrei. Ich musste also keine Kompromisse eingehen und habe dafür nicht mal die Hälfte meines Budgets ausgeben müssen.

I was looking for a replacement for the active speakers I had valued for many years, because I wanted more power and meanwhile accepted the theory that speakers simply sound better when they have a certain volume. So I ordered a pair of cheap floorstanding speakers and needed an amp. The specifications were: phono connection, digital input for the TV and Bluetooth. Dolby is not an issue for me, rather honest differentiated stereo. I mainly watch live concerts on television, for example via YouTube. The amplifier was delivered quickly, is well packaged and comes in a stylish logo bag with white fabric gloves (!!!). Fun! A simple remote control is included, as well as a jack adapter (mini/normal) and a cinch cable. Very nice! The piece looks classy in white and goes well with our furniture, so the woman is happy too. The amplifier is bigger than I expected from the photos, the turntable fits on it well. Unfortunately, the controllers look VERY cheap. The tone controls are also not 100% vertical when centered. It's a small thing, but that sort of thing bothers me. A nice feature is the illuminated volume control, a white LED ring shows the volume. The sound is really good after a few adjustments to the tone controls! Very differentiated, for example my old Dire Straits records come across as differentiated and organic. With the loudness function activated, things really get going, but that's much too boisterous for me. More equalizer would have helped me, the mids fall behind a bit. Still, I found a setting I'm happy with. My Wavemaster active speakers back then cost as much as this complete amplifier and of course they sound much better, but I lacked the power. This amplifier brings that, but it doesn't sound quite as good. For the money it does exactly what I was looking for! Bluetooth works perfectly. So I didn't have to make any compromises and didn't even have to spend half of my budget on it.

Ein designmäßig toller Verstärker mit einem super Klang. Warum dann keine 5 Sterne? Sowohl der eingebaute DA Wandler als auch die Phonovorstufe sind eher von minderer Qualität. Digital: Zuerst habe ich meinen Teac PD 301 DAB (Kombination aus CD Player DAB+ Tuner) über Lichleiterkabel angeschlossen. Parallel dazu habe ich einen Anschluss über Cinchkabel hergestellt und zwischen beiden hin und her geschaltet. Analog war das Klangbild brillanter und die Bässe kräftiger. Phono: Da mein Teac TN 400 BT über eine integrierten Phonovorstufe besitzt wollte ich hier auch ein bisschen experimentieren. Hier war es nicht ganz so einfach zu vergleichen. Ich musste immer wieder umstecken und umschalten. Hier war der Unterschied extremer. Das Klangbild über den Teac war viel plastischer und offener. Fazit: Wer einen Vollverstärker mit einem tollen Klang über die Hochpegeleingänge sucht wird hier fündig. Und ein schickes Retrodesign gibt es gratis dazu. Den schlechten Phonoklang werden Vinylfans verkraften da sie sich ohnehin (wie ich demnächst auch) noch eine extra Phonovorstufe zulegen.

Conclusion: If you are looking for an integrated amplifier with a great sound via the high-level inputs, you will find it here. And a chic retro design is included for free. Vinyl fans will be able to cope with the bad phono sound because they (like I will soon) buy an extra phono stage anyway.

NUMAN digital - ein erstklassiger Verstärker !!! Materialauswahl, sowie Verarbeitung repräsentieren 1. Wahl !!! Klanglich meinem alten YAMAHA A-X592 (2x155 W RMS) ebenbürtig, dem NUMAN geht mit zunehmender Lautstärke auch nicht die Luft aus (klanglich dünner werden) ! Er schiebt einfach gewaltig an und meine Magnat Signature 503 bekommen so richtig "Besuch" !!! Toll ist auch die Lautstärkenregeleung ! - in kleinen rasterschritten und zudem noch mit weißer LED umrandet ! Auch die Anschlüsse auf der Rückseite sind perfekt verarbeitet !!! Ein super Verstärker, dieser NUMAN digital mit seinen 2x170 W RMSan 4 Ohm !!!

Trotzdem einige Bemerkungen: - Verstärker und alle angescglossenen Geräte möglichst aus einer Steckdose betreiben, das sonst auftretende Brummen kann aber über Massetrennfilter eliminiert werden. - Dem Lautstärkeregler fehlt der Min / Max Anschlag, man weiß beim Einschalten daher nicht, mit welcher Lautstärke das Gerät arbeitet. - Der Lautstärkeregler erfordert eine starke Drehung um eine merkbare Lautstärkenveränderung zu erreuchen. Eine stufenlose und direktere Regelung wäre wünschenswert. - Die Beschriftung der Ein- und Ausgänge auf der Rückseite ist praktisch unleserlich. Eine Beschriftung in weiß wäre wünschenswert. - Die Gerätemaße entsprechen nicht den HiFi Standardturmmaßen. Das kann unter Umständen ein Problem sein. Aber - sehr gute Anschlussmöglichkeiten und sehr guter Klang lassen die angeführten

Das Gerät hat ein tolles Design, sehr viele Anschlüße was ein Hauptgrund für den Kauf war und klingt an meinen Grundig Audiorama 7000 wirklich toll. Die Phonovorstufe ist ebenfalls sehr gut zumindest mit Shure und Ortofonsystemen, Audio Technica habe ich nicht getestet. Warum man allerdings bei einem so hochwertig verarbeiteten Gerät einen dermaßen billigen Lautstärkereglerknopf verwendet ist mir ein Rätsel. Hat haptisch was von einem Joghurtbecher, dafür gibt es einen Stern abzug. Aber alles in allem eine klare Kaufempfehlung

The device has a great design, a lot of connections which was a main reason for the purchase and sounds really great on my Grundig Audiorama 7000. The phono stage is also very good, at least with Shure and Ortofon systems, I have not tested Audio Technica. However, it is a mystery to me why such a cheap volume control button is used with such a high-quality device. Has a haptic feel of a yoghurt pot, there is a star deduction for that. But all in all a clear buy recommendation

Beim Auspacken gab es ein paar positive Überraschungen. Ein billiges, aber langes Cinch-Kabel ist dabei, eine Fernbedienung und ein Paar weißer Handschuhe. Das Gerät ist wirklich schön gestaltet und an den Anschlüssen wurde nicht gespart. Der Verstärker ist etwas schmäler als Hifi-Einheiten wie Plattenspieler. Auch die runden Ecken verhindern, dass man das Gerät in irgendeiner Weise stapelt. Insgesamt sieht das Gerät sehr edel aus. Leider ist die Lautstärkeanzeige, das als Lichtband um den Lautstärkeregler gestaltet ist, sichtbar billig ausgeführt, mit zu wenigen Lämpchen hinter einem milchigen Plastikelement. Das Ablesen der Lautstärke ist so lala, ich hätte es vom Look her ohne LEDs besser gefunden. Es gibt eine Mute-funktion, bei dem dann die LED rot werden, das ist nice. Ich habe keinen Subwoofer dran, vermutlich ist deshalb der "Loudness"-Button ohne Funktion – ich kann keinen Unterschied hören. Das Wechseln des Eingangskanals via Drehregler ist ein wenig lame. Das Pairing mit dem iPhone via Bluetooth klappte sofort einwandfrei. Klanglich gibt es nichts auszusetzen. Bei mir knackst nichts, auch beim Regeln der Lautstärke. Fazit: Ich hätte gerne 20 EUR mehr gezahlt für eine schönere und präzisere Lautstärkeanzeige, die Gerätebreite passt nicht in jeden Hifiturm, ansonsten für den Preis ein super Gerät.

There were a few positive surprises upon unpacking. A cheap but long RCA cable is included, a remote control and a pair of white gloves. The device is really nicely designed and no expense was spared on the connections. The amplifier is slightly narrower than hi-fi units like turntables. The rounded corners also prevent the device from being stacked in any way. Overall, the device looks very elegant. Unfortunately, the volume indicator, designed as a band of light around the volume knob, is visibly cheaply made, with too few lights behind a milky plastic element. The reading of the volume is so-so, I would have liked the look better without LEDs. There is a mute function where the LEDs turn red, which is nice. I don't have a subwoofer connected, which is probably why the "Loudness" button doesn't work - I can't hear any difference. Changing the input channel via rotary knob is a bit lame. Pairing with the iPhone via Bluetooth worked flawlessly right away. There is nothing wrong with the sound. I don't crack anything, even when adjusting the volume. Conclusion: I would have gladly paid 20 EUR more for a nicer and more precise volume display, the width of the device does not fit in every hi-fi tower, otherwise a great device for the price.

Der gute alte Sherwood Verstärker aus dem Jahre 1985 tut zwar noch seinen Dienst und klingt wie eh und je. Allerdings habe ich meine Lautsprecher verjüngt und ich wollte zeitgemäße Anschlüsse und Funktionen. Dementsprechend schaute ich mich nach einem neuen zusätzlichen Verstärker um. Der Numan macht Design seitig einen sehr guten Eindruck. Verarbeitung ist hervorragend. Alle Anschlüsse und Bedienelemente machen einen wertigen und nachhaltigen Eindruck. Einzige Kritik ist der Lautstärkeregler, der zwar schön groß und handlich geworden ist, hier aber etwas "billig" wirkt. Dieser wird jedoch wegen der kleinen und sinnvoll ausgestalteten Fernbedienung wenig benutzt. Der Verstärker verfügt über eine Vielzahl an Cinch Anschlüssen. Es können 2 Lautsprecherpaare und ein Subwoofer über einen separaten Anschluß betrieben werden. An meinem Numan hängen ein Paar Magnat Quantum Boxen sowie der zugehörige Magnat Quantum Subwoofer. Ein DVD Gerät ist über Lichtwellenkabel angeschlossen, der Subwoofer über eigenen Anschluß, einige Geräte über Cinch Stecker. Der Dualplattenspieler über Vorverstärker. Sehr gut funktioniert auch die Bluetooht Connection. Damit kann man sehr einfach Smartphones kontakten und diese als Audioabspielgeräte nutzen. Der Klang ist in jeder Phase sauber ohne jegliche wahrnehmbare Nebengeräusche. Den einzigen Nachteil - und dieser kostet den fünften Stern - sehe ich in der Loudness Funktion. Diese ist in meinen Augen schlicht nicht nutzbar. Die Verstärkung im Bassbereich ist viel zu stark, so dass der eigentlich ausgewogene Klang komplett verloren geht. Eine regelbare Loudnessfunktion, wie z. B. bei Yamaha Verstärkern würde dem Gerät den letzten Schliff geben. Nun, dann wird sie eben nicht genutzt. Aber auch ohne diese Funktion bietet das Gerät sehr gute Anschlussmöglichkeiten, eine einfache und gute Bedienung mit wertigen Elementen und einen sehr guten Klang vom tiefen Bass bis zu den Spitzen. Digitale sowie analoge Geräte können daran ohne Probleme oder Nachteile betrieben werden. Eine gute Wahl in jedem Falle - vor allem auch für den Preis. Das Holzgehäuse passt sehr gut zum Ambiente und dem Magnat Kirschholz Boxen Ensemble. Meine Wertung im Überblick: Vorteile: - Design, Materialien, Verarbeitung - Sound - Geräteanschlüsse sinnvoll und wertig - Anschlußmöglichkeiten, Cinch, digitales Lichtkabel, Subwoofer, Vorverstärker für Phono. - Bluetooth 5.0 - kleine aber sinnvolle Fernbedienung - Preis- Leistungsverhältnis Nachteile: - etwas wenig wertig wirkender Lautstärkeknopf (noch akzeptabel, da die Lautstärke meist über die Fernbedienung gesteuert wird) - nicht nutzbare Loudnessfunktion - Abwertung 1 Stern! Ansonsten sehr gute Wahl für einen Vollverstärker.

The good old Sherwood amplifier from 1985 still does its job and sounds the same as ever. However, I was rejuvenating my speakers and I wanted contemporary connectivity and features. Accordingly, I looked around for a new additional amplifier. The Numan makes a very good impression in terms of design. Processing is excellent. All connections and controls make a valuable and lasting impression. The only criticism is the volume control, which has become nice and big and handy, but seems a bit "cheap" here. However, this is rarely used because of the small and sensibly designed remote control. The amplifier has a large number of cinch connections. 2 pairs of loudspeakers and a subwoofer can be operated via a separate connection. A pair of Magnat Quantum speakers and the associated Magnat Quantum subwoofer are attached to my Numan. A DVD device is connected via fiber optic cable, the subwoofer via its own connection, some devices via cinch plugs. The dual turntable via preamp. The Bluetooth connection also works very well. This makes it very easy to contact smartphones and use them as audio playback devices. The sound is clean in every phase without any perceptible background noise. The only disadvantage - and this costs the fifth star - I see in the loudness function. In my opinion, this is simply not usable. The amplification in the bass range is far too strong, so that the actually balanced sound is completely lost. An adjustable loudness function, e.g. B. Yamaha amplifiers would give the device the final touch. Well, then it just won't be used. But even without this function, the device offers very good connection options, simple and good operation with valuable elements and a very good sound from the deep bass to the peaks. Digital as well as analogue devices can be operated on it without any problems or disadvantages. A good choice in any case - especially for the price. The wooden housing goes very well with the ambience and the Magnat cherry wood box ensemble. My rating at a glance: Advantages: - Design, materials, workmanship - Sound - Device connections useful and valuable - Connection options, cinch, digital light cable, subwoofer, preamplifier for phono. - Bluetooth 5.0 - small but useful remote control - price-performance ratio Disadvantages: - volume button that looks a little insignificant (still acceptable, since the volume is usually controlled via the remote control) - loudness function that cannot be used - 1 star rating! Otherwise a very good choice for an integrated amplifier.
