Design super, allerdings nach dem Kauf unbedingte die Bodenversiegelung prüfen. Unsere Box rostet von innen an einer nicht richtig versiegelten Stelle!

Great design, but be sure to check the floor sealing after purchase. Our box is rusting from the inside in a spot that wasn't properly sealed!

Es handelt sich um dünnes, lackiertes Blech - ein bisschen stabiler wäre schön gewesen. Die Verarbeitung ist ganz ok, allerdings hat der Deckel keine Sperre, er klappt also - wenn man ihn nicht festhält- nach hinten über, was bei der dünne des Blechs schief gehen kann. Außerdem habe ich 'Gummifüße' unter die Dose geklebt, damit sie nicht so haltlos und schabend über den Tisch rutscht. Für Brötchen finde ich die Dose nicht geeignet. Sie werden schnell pappig. Brot ist akzeptabel. Die Dose sieht nett aus, ist aber aufgrund des Materials mit Vorsicht zu behandeln. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis überzeugt mich nicht.

It is thin, painted sheet metal - a bit more stable would have been nice. The processing is quite ok, but the lid has no lock, so it folds over backwards - if you don't hold it tight - which can go wrong with the thin sheet metal. I also glued 'rubber feet' under the can so that it doesn't slip and scrape across the table. I don't think the tin is suitable for rolls. They get sticky quickly. Bread is acceptable. The tin looks nice, but due to the material it is made of, it should be handled with care. The price/performance ratio does not convince me.

Going back and forth between a few different bread boxes, and this one was really an excellent choice. Looks amazing, and is a sturdy material. It doesn't feel cheap, like so many of them do. The personal note from Jan & Carrie made a huge difference too. Thanks guys!

Seit 2 1/2 Wochen lege ich mein selbstgebackenes Brot in diesen Kasten. Da es vorher eingefroren ist, warte ich natürlich, bis es vollständig aufgetaut ist. Vom so oft beschriebenen Schimmel ist bis heute nichts zu sehen, obwohl es bs zum endgültigen Verzehr doch einige Tage im Kasten aushalten muss. Leider bleibt die Kruste nicht knusprig, aber trotzdem schmackhaft. Das Brot wird in 4-5 Tagen auch nicht trocken. Insgesamt 4 Sterne.

I have been putting my homemade bread in this box for 2 1/2 weeks. Of course, since it's frozen beforehand, I'll wait until it's completely thawed. To this day, there is nothing to be seen of the mold that has been described so often, although it has to withstand a few days in the box until it is finally consumed. Unfortunately, the crust doesn't stay crispy, but it's still tasty. The bread doesn't dry out in 4-5 days either. Overall 4 stars.

Ich bin von dem Brotkasten begeisterte. Sieht stylisch aus, hält frisch und erfüllt seinen Zweck. Durch die Luftzirkulation hat unser Brot noch nicht einmal geschimmelt wie manche beschreiben. Es passt 1 großes Brot hinein und Vlt 2-3 Brötchen, aber das ist ausreichend.

I am delighted with the bread box. Looks stylish, keeps you fresh and serves its purpose. Due to the air circulation, our bread has not even become moldy as some describe. It fits 1 large loaf of bread and maybe 2-3 rolls, but that's enough.

Hatte mir die Brotbox bestellt und diese kam dann auch innerhalb weniger Tage. Leider fehlte am Griff eine Schraube und weiter war ein Lackschaden im Deckel innen vorhanden, ansonsten war die Box einwandfrei. Über die beiliegende Karte habe ich dann direkt mit dem Hersteller Kontakt aufgenommen, welcher mir sofort eine neue Box zuschickte und mir weiterhin den Kaufpreis wieder erstattete. Soviel Service hätte ich nie erwartet. Die Antwort kam innerhalb weniger Stunden und ohne jegliche Diskussion, wie man es von anderen Anbietern kennt. Top!! Die Box an sich sieht schick aus und erfüllt ihren Zweck. Da wir sie erst seit einigen Tagen in Benutzung haben, kann ich leider keine Auskunft zur Frischhaltestufe der Box sagen, aber ansonsten macht sie ihren Job ganz hervorragend. Jederzeit wieder....

I ordered the bread box and it came within a few days. Unfortunately, a screw was missing on the handle and there was paint damage on the inside of the lid, otherwise the box was perfect. I then used the enclosed card to contact the manufacturer directly, who immediately sent me a new box and reimbursed me the purchase price. I never expected so much service. The answer came within a few hours and without any discussion, as is known from other providers. Top!! The box itself looks chic and serves its purpose. Since we've only been using it for a few days, I can't say anything about the freshness level of the box, but otherwise it does its job very well. Any time....

Brotkasten? Ich war etwas skeptisch! Aber dieser Brotkasten hat den Test mit meinem selbst gebackenem Brot zu 100% bestanden! Bei einer Lagertemperatur von 20 - 21°C hielt das Brot 5 Tage, dann war es leider alle. Vom Geschmack und der Konsistenz des Brotes war ich selbst am 5 Tag überrascht. Im Paket lag ein lieber und sehr persönlicher Gruß vom Inhaberpaar der Firma. Das nennt mann Kundenorientiert. Danke! Ich freue mich jeden Tag über den Brotkasten, der Top in meinen Einrichtungsstil passt. Garantierte Weiterempfehlung!

bread box? I was a bit skeptical! But this bread box passed the test with my homemade bread 100%! At a storage temperature of 20 - 21°C the bread lasted 5 days, then unfortunately it was all. I was surprised by the taste and consistency of the bread even on the 5th day. In the package was a dear and very personal greeting from the couple who own the company. Dieser Retro Brotkasten sieht Mega cool aus, es passt auch richtig viel rein, ein ganzes Brot meinigen Brötchen zum Beispiel. Es gab bei meiner Lieferung ein kleines Problemchen das sofort und sehr zu meiner Zufriedenheit behoben wurde. Die Freundlichkeit von diesem Familienunternehmen möchte ich besonders hervor heben, wirklich Leute besser geht es echt nicht. Ich kann das ganze Sortiment nur weiter empfehlen!!!!

Ich hatte mir das Produkt gekauft um den Süßigkeitenberg in meiner Küche optisch verschwinden zu lassen. Benutze es also nicht zur Brotaufbewahrung daher kann ich dazu nichts sagen. Ein sehr schöner Brotkasten im Retrolook zu einen sehr günstigen Preis. Sehr gut verarbeitet. Das einzige Problem: Die Schrauben rosten nach einiger Zeit und deshalb Punkteabzug. Danke aus Wien

Diese Produkte sind einfach nur super, richtig schön und machen wirklich was her in der Küche. Hab das Set mit Kartoffel-und Zwiebeltopf, sowie den Brotkasten bestellt. Hatte ein kleines Problem, was sich mit dem Verkäufer super lösen ließ und habe direkt, per Expressversand Ersatz erhalten. Für den Kontakt würde ich mehr als 5 Sterne geben, wenn ich es könnte. Unglaublich nett und zuvorkommend. Kann die Artikel nur wärmstens empfehlen und gebe eine klare Kaufempfehlung.

Die Lieferung erfolgte schnell, wie angekündigt. Der Brotkasten hat eine gute Haptik/Optik und lässt sich gut öffnen/schließen. Er passt perfekt für 1 großes American Sandwich und ca. 2 schlanke Packungen Brot. (Mein Mann isst alleine Brot und Toast) Das Toastbrot hält lange, bis zum Aufessen, nach 1 1/2 Wochen, noch frisch. Das Brot ist schneller aufgegessen aber war bisher nicht 1x verdorben (nach 2 Monaten Nutzung). Optisch ein Hingucker in unserer modernen „Landhausküche“. Kaufempfehlung von mir.

Delivery was quick as announced. The bread box has a good feel/optics and is easy to open/close. It fits perfectly for 1 large American sandwich and about 2 slim packs of bread. (My husband eats bread and toast alone) The toast bread stays fresh for a long time, after 1 1/2 weeks. The bread is eaten faster but has not spoiled once (after 2 months of use). Visually an eye-catcher in our modern "country kitchen". Buy recommendation from me.

Wir hatten den Brotkasten bestellt, er wurde super schnell geliefert. Man sah jedoch eine winzige Schramme, die allerdings nicht von außen sichtbar war. Nachdem wir (aufgrund des beiliegenden Zettels) die Verkäufer kontaktierten, antworteten sie innerhalb kürzester Zeit und sicherten uns zu, uns einen neuen zu schicken und zwar mit Expressversand. Schon nach 2 Tagen erhielten wir den neuen Brotkasten und dieser war ohne jegliche Kratzer oder andere Mängel. Die Kundenbetreuung wird hier echt groß geschrieben und die 2 weiteren Produkte, die wir über die Firma bestellten, waren auch Mängelfrei. Das Produkt an sich ist sehr schön verarbeitet und sieht echt gut aus. Unser Brot ist auch nach 3 Tagen noch wie frisch vom Bäcker. Also absolute Kaufempfehlung!!

We had ordered the bread box, it was delivered super fast. However, one saw a tiny scratch, which, however, was not visible from the outside. After we contacted the sellers (on the basis of the enclosed note) they responded in no time and promised to send us a new one with express shipping. Already after 2 days we received the new bread box and it was without any scratches or other defects. Customer care is really important here and the 2 other products that we ordered from the company were also free of defects. The product itself is very well made and looks really good. Our bread is still fresh from the baker even after 3 days. So absolute buy recommendation!

Bin mit dem Brotkasten super zufrieden. Er ist für einen 2-3-Personenhaushalt total ausreichend. Wir haben des Öfteren auch Brötchen darin. Ich muss sagen, dass das Brot sich wirklich etwas länger darin hält. Wir hatten oft das Problem, dass in diesem Sommer bei der Hitze das Brot (ich backe Brot nur selber, echtes Sauerteigbrot, ohne Hefe, kaufe kein Brot mehr) schon nach 2 Tagen zu schimmeln begann, da unser bisheriger Brotkasten luftdicht abschloss. Das passier jetzt erst nach 4 Tagen. Ich war erstaunt, wie leicht und dünn das Blech des Kastens war. Stört aber nicht. Man sitzt ja nicht drauf.

I am very happy with the bread box. It is totally sufficient for a 2-3 person household. We often have rolls in it too. I have to say that the bread really does keep a little longer in it. We often had the problem that this summer, due to the heat, the bread (I only bake bread myself, real sourdough bread, without yeast, I no longer buy bread) started to get moldy after just 2 days because our previous bread box was airtight. This only happens after 4 days. I was amazed at how light and thin the sheet metal of the box was. But don't bother. You don't sit on it.
