Why choose between gas and induction when you can have both? The Klarstein MultiChef is a hybrid hob that puts 5 cooking zones and 9.8 kW of total power at your fingertips — the instant, visual control of a gas flame alongside the speed and precision of induction, all on one surface.
Three gas burners cover every flame-cooking need: a high-output wok burner at 3.4 kW for fierce searing, a standard burner at 2.4 kW for everyday cooking, and an auxiliary burner at 1.0 kW for gentle simmering. The two induction zones deliver 1,500 W each (up to 1,800 W with Power Boost), while the FlexZone adds another 2,500 W (up to 2,800 W with Power Boost) for larger pots and casserole dishes. Nine power levels and the Stop&Go function keep you in full control, and the adjustable timer with automatic shut-off adds an extra layer of reassurance.
Cast-iron pan supports hold your cookware steady on the gas side, and the flame failure safety device cuts the gas supply automatically if the flame goes out. A residual heat indicator lets you know when the induction surface is still hot to the touch.
The MultiChef is designed for built-in installation and requires both a gas supply and an electrical connection. Installation dimensions are specified in the instruction manual, and the minimum clearances stated there must be observed. Installation must be carried out by a qualified professional.
