Gas and induction in one hob: Two gas burners and two induction zones deliver a combined 6.4 kW across four cooking zones — sear, simmer, boil, and braise all at the same time, without needing a second appliance.

The Klarstein MultiChef is a hybrid gas and induction hob that gives you the best of both worlds — the instant, responsive flame of gas for searing and high-heat cooking, and the precise, consistent heat of induction for simmering and delicate sauces. All four zones, all at once, all under your control.
The two gas burners deliver 2.4 kW and 1.0 kW respectively, so you can get a proper sear on a steak or bring a stock to a rolling boil without waiting. The two induction zones run at 1,500 W each (up to 1,800 W with Power Boost), while the FlexZone handles larger cookware at 2,500 W (up to 2,800 W with Power Boost). Nine power levels and a Stop&Go function give you fine control over every zone, and a programmable timer with automatic shut-off keeps things safe when you step away from the kitchen.
Cast iron pan supports hold your pots and pans securely in place. A flame failure safety device automatically cuts the gas supply if the flame goes out, and a residual heat indicator tells you when the induction zones are still hot to the touch.
The MultiChef is a built-in appliance designed for integration into a kitchen worktop. It requires both a gas connection and an electrical supply. Minimum installation clearances must be observed as specified in the instruction manual. Installation must be carried out by a qualified professional.
