Some dishes need the raw, responsive heat of a gas flame. Others need the precision and control that only induction delivers. With the Klarstein MultiChef, you don't have to choose. This hybrid built-in hob combines two gas burners and two induction zones — four cooking zones in total, with 7 kW of combined power — so you can sear a steak over a live flame while a béchamel simmers gently on induction, all at the same time.
The gas burners deliver instant, adjustable heat: 2.4 kW for high-heat cooking and 1.0 kW for gentler work. The induction zones each run at 1,500 W (up to 1,800 W with Power Boost), while the FlexZone handles larger pots and pans at 2,500 W (up to 2,800 W with Power Boost). Across all four zones, 9 power levels and the Stop&Go function give you precise, independent control of every ring — essential when you've got multiple dishes on the go at different stages.
Cast-iron pan supports keep your cookware stable and secure. A flame failure safety device cuts the gas supply automatically if the flame goes out, and the residual heat indicator lets you know when a zone is still hot after use.
