Top features
Full control over the flame: wok burner and total output of 3.4 kW provide instant, stepless heat regulation – from a strong cooking flame to the gentlest simmer, all without any preheating time.
Even heat thanks to quality burners: Italian Sabaf burner heads made of aluminium distribute the heat evenly under the cookware – ideal for wok, pot and small pan alike.
Designed for installation in the kitchen unit: The hob is designed as a built-in appliance and fits into both modern and classic kitchens. The exact installation dimensions are specified in the enclosed instructions.
Safety without compromise: The Flame Failure Device (FFD) automatically stops the gas supply if a flame goes out. The electric ignition makes matches unnecessary – simply turn and start.
Flexible gas supply: Factory set for natural gas (20 mbar), the hob can be converted to liquefied gas/LPG (50 mbar) – usable with a house connection or gas cylinder.
Product description
Gas hob Klarstein Alchemist – once you have cooked with gas, you rarely want to go back. The flame reacts instantly, and the heat can be precisely controlled down to the millimetre – from rolling boil to gentle simmer, all with a simple turn of the control knob. The Alchemist hob with wok burner brings this cooking experience to your fitted kitchen with a total output of 3.4 kW.
The powerful aluminium wok burner with Italian Sabaf burner heads ensures even heat distribution – whether using a wok, saucepan, or small sauce pan. Cast iron grates securely hold any cookware in place and distribute heat evenly upwards. The 8 mm thick hardened glass-ceramic surface is robust and easy to clean, retaining its shine even after years of daily use.
Safety is built-in: the Flame Failure Device (FFD) detects if the flame goes out and automatically stops the gas supply. The electric ignition eliminates the need for matches or a lighter – one press of a button and the burner is on.
The hob is factory-set for natural gas (20 mbar) and can be converted to liquefied petroleum gas/LPG (50 mbar) – giving you flexibility even without a fixed gas connection. The appliance is designed for installation in a kitchen worktop; installation dimensions can be found in the enclosed manual. Suitable for modern kitchens as well as ambitious amateur cooking at a semi-professional level.
Get the Klarstein Alchemist gas hob – and cook from the first ignition with the precision that professional chefs appreciate.
