Top features
Two cooking technologies, one hob: A gas burner and two glass-ceramic zones work alongside each other with a combined output of 6.4 kW — so you can sear at full heat on one zone while gently simmering on another, without needing two separate appliances.
Full control over every zone at once: All four cooking zones have independent controls, letting you run different heat levels simultaneously — useful when you have multiple dishes on the go at the same time.
Gentle, even heat for dishes that need patience: The two glass-ceramic zones (1.8 kW and 1.2 kW) distribute heat evenly across the base of the pan — ideal for hollandaise, slow braises, and anything that scorches easily over a direct flame.
Product description
Why choose between a gas hob and a ceramic hob when you can have both? The Klarstein MultiChef is a hybrid built-in hob that combines a powerful gas burner with glass-ceramic zones — giving you the instant, high-heat control of gas alongside the steady, even warmth of ceramic, all in one worktop unit.
The 2.4 kW gas burner fires up immediately — perfect for searing, stir-frying, and anything that needs intense, responsive heat. Two glass-ceramic zones (1.8 kW and 1.2 kW) deliver the gentle, consistent warmth that sauces, braises, and slow-cooked dishes demand. A 1.0 kW auxiliary burner rounds out the four cooking zones, bringing the total output to 6.4 kW. Every zone is independently controlled, so you can run four completely different heat levels at the same time.
The stainless steel frame and removable cast iron pan supports are built to handle daily cooking. The flame failure safety device automatically cuts the gas supply if the flame goes out, and the residual heat indicator warns you when the ceramic surface is still hot — two features that matter when you're cooking at full tilt.
The MultiChef is designed for built-in installation in a kitchen worktop and is compatible with both natural gas and LPG. It comes factory-set for natural gas (20 mbar); conversion to LPG (50 mbar) is possible. Please note: hose and pressure regulator are not included. Installation dimensions are given in the instruction manual. Installation must be carried out by a qualified professional.
Four zones, two technologies, one hob — get the Klarstein MultiChef and cook exactly the way you want.
