Da bei allen angebotenen Produkten dieser art negative Kommentare zu allem möglichen abgegeben werden habe ich mich schlussendlich einfach für dieses Modell entschieden, da ich klare eiswürfel in relativ großer Stückzahl wollte und wurde mehr als angenehm überrascht. Die Maschine arbeitet leise für ein Gerät das mittels Kompressor kälte erzeugen muss. Die Würfel wurden mit normalem (bei uns sehr kalkarmem) Leitungswasser kristallklar. Jede produktionsrunde kommt wie eine schokoladentafel aus dem Gefriergitter, teilt sich aber ohne Probleme wenn man sie einmal aus 10cm Höhe wieder ins Fach fallen lässt. (Machen wir meist zunächst nicht, da so mehr Eis im Gerät gelagert werden kann und teilen nur das was wir verbrauchen oder in unseren speraten Tischeisbehälter füllen) 20minuten reichen für eine Produktionsrunde großer Würfel ohne Probleme. Füllt man direkt leicht kühles Wasser ein ist auch bereits die erste Runde Eiswürfel sehr gut, sonst ist ab der Zweiten die Betriebstemperatur erreicht. Ich habe sie zu Weihnachten verschenkt (wir hatten sie laufend mit Schleife im Nebenraum stehen) und direkt wollten sich zwei weitere Familienmitglieder auch ein gleiches Gerät kaufen. Die produktionsmenge hat bei 8 erwachsenen mehr als gereicht um bei kontinuierlicher Entnahme am Abend immer ein volles Auffangfach zu haben.

Since negative comments are made about everything possible with all products of this kind, I finally decided on this model simply because I wanted clear ice cubes in relatively large quantities and was more than pleasantly surprised. The machine works quietly for a device that has to generate cold using a compressor. The cubes became crystal clear with normal (in our case very low-lime) tap water. Each production round comes out of the freezer like a bar of chocolate, but splits easily if you drop it back into the compartment from a height of 10cm. (We usually don't do it at first, because that way more ice can be stored in the device and we only share what we use or fill in our separate table ice cream container) 20 minutes are enough for a production round of large cubes without any problems. If you fill it directly with slightly cool water, the first round of ice cubes is already very good, otherwise the operating temperature will be reached by the second. I gave it away for Christmas (we always had it in the next room with a bow) and two other family members wanted to buy the same device right away. The production quantity was more than enough for 8 adults to always have a full collection compartment with continuous removal in the evening.

Sehr schickes Gerät, produziert recht schnell, viereckige Eiswürfel sind toll und mit Wasser aus dem Wasseraufbereiter werden die Würfel tatsächlich glasklar, das sieht im Getränk top aus! Nur dass die Eiswürfel immer zusammenhängend wie eine Platte ins Ausgabefach fallen, stört etwas.

Very chic device, produces quite quickly, square ice cubes are great and with water from the water conditioner the cubes actually become crystal clear, that looks great in the drink! The only thing that bothers me is that the ice cubes always fall together like a plate into the output compartment.

Leider haben sich meine Erwartungen betreffend der Eiswürfelmaschine nicht erfüllt. Eiswürfel gibt es erst nach mindestens 20 Minuten. Diese fallen in Blöcken und müssen händisch getrennt werden. Unfortunately, my expectations regarding the ice cube machine were not met. Ice cubes are only available after at least 20 minutes. These fall in blocks and must be separated by hand. Bisher gefällt mir die Eiswürfelmaschine sehr gut. Macht je Stunde ca. 1 KG Eiswürfel. Die Bedienung ist einfach, auch das Reinigen ist mühelos möglich. Die Geräuschentwicklung ist für Küche und Co etwas zu laut, deshalb steht die Maschine bei mir im Keller. Die letzten drei Eiswürfelmaschinen anderer Hersteller liefen nicht länger als 12 Monate, ich hoffe diese hält auch über die Garantiezeit hinaus! Da ich diese Maschine erst seit kurzen im Gebrauch habe, kann ich zur Langlebigkeit noch keine Aussage machen.

So far I like the ice cube machine very much. Makes about 1 kg of ice cubes per hour. Operation is simple and cleaning is also effortless. The noise level is a bit too loud for the kitchen and the like, which is why the machine is in my basement. The last three ice cube machines from other manufacturers did not run longer than 12 months, I hope this one will last beyond the warranty period! Since I've only been using this machine for a short time, I can't comment on its longevity.

ein toller Eiswürfelbereiter - braucht nicht soviel Platz - Gerät kam - wurde sofort in Betrieb genommen - das einzigste was stört ist, wenn die Eiswürfel in den Behälter fallen (Luxusproblem) und das Gepiepe, wenn Behälter voll ist und das Gerät zwischendurch abschaltet... ansonsten bin ich völlig begeistert - kein Vergleich zu den anderen...

Man kann die Maschine besser Eisklotzmaschine nennen. Die Würfel kommen nämlich in einem Klotz raus. Diesen muss man dann wie eine Tafel Schokolade auseinanderbrechen. Für den Besuch nicht so toll wenn man jeden Eiswürfel angrapscht. Ausserdem ist der Geräuschpegel echt störend. Ich werde das Produkt zurück schicken und mir wieder eine Sunsky holen. Da sind die Würfel zwar trüb aber dafür einzeln, sie ist leiser und noch 40€ billiger.

You could better call the machine an ice block machine. The dice come out in one block. You then have to break it apart like a bar of chocolate. Not so great for a visit if you grab every ice cube. In addition, the noise level is really annoying. I will send the product back and get another Sunsky. The cubes are cloudy, but they are individual, it is quieter and €40 cheaper.

Mir persönlich ist die Maschine zu laut, die Würfel kommen im Block und bleiben auf der Schublade hängen. Die Schublade rutscht beim rausziehen zu schnell vor und es sammelt sich zuviel Wasser am Boden der Lade und schwappt beim rausziehen mit raus.

Die Maschine macht tolle Eiswürfel (eckig und glasklar) aber.... wenn die Schublade zu voll ist, fällt sie raus und alle Eiswürfel liegen auf dem Boden. Außerdem läuft immer wieder etwas Wasser aus der Schublade aus. Daher sollte die Maschine auf keinem empflindlichen Untergrund gestellt werden.

The machine makes great ice cubes (square and crystal clear) but... if the drawer is too full, it falls out and all the ice cubes are on the floor. Also, some water keeps leaking out of the drawer. Therefore, the machine should not be placed on a sensitive surface.

Die Maschine funktioniert beinahe lautlos, abgesehen vom Eis welches in die Schale fehlt. Leider macht die Wasserpumpe nun bereits nach einer Woche einen enormen Krach. Anscheinend ist der Impeller defekt. Die Wasserpumpe ist anscheinend nicht für einen Dauergebrauch geeignet oder reagiert auf kaltes Wasser mit Fehlfunktion. Hierzu habe ich ein Video hochgeladen. 2. Mein zweiter Kritikpunkt. Wenn die Maschine eine Weile gelaufen ist und man diese auf Pause stellt oder das Eisfach voll ist und automatisch auf Standby geht, bildet sich um die Maschine herum einer Eispfütze, da das schmelzende Eis den unteren Behälter überlaufen lässt. Das ist natürlich nicht sehr schön und kann so manch eine Arbeitsplatte aus Holz ruinieren. Update 16.05.2019 Obwohl ich nun endlich, nach langer Odyssee, eine Maschine gefunden hatte welche glasklare Eiswürfel produziert, konnten mich die Lautstärke, Undichtigkeit und Haltbarkeit leider nicht überzeugen. Hier spielte bei meinem Gerät womöglich persönliches Pech (Montagsgerät?) neben der Konstruktion eine Rolle. Aber ich habe halt nicht die Möglichkeit oder Lust mehrere Geräte parallel zu testen. Ich habe, trotz anfänglicher Begeisterung, das Gerät schweren Herzens zurückgeschickt und versuche es in Zukunft mit einem anderen Modell. Aufgrund der "Kinderkrankheiten" kann ich nur noch bedingt zu einem Kauf raten. Wer nur gelegentlich Eiswürfel benötigt, einen wasserfesten Standplatz hat, sich an der Lautstärke nicht stört und bei der Pumpe hoffentlich mehr Glück hat, könnte mit diesem Gerät glücklich werden. ******************************* ******************************* Ursprüngliche Rezension: Moderne Klar-Eismaschine von Klarstein. (Der Name ist Programm) + Lieferung erfolgte über Amazon innerhalb von 48 Stunden. Soweit mir bekannt, gibt es zur Zeit noch keinen anderen Anbieter als die Berliner Firma Klarstein welche diese neue Art von Eismaschine per Amazon verschicken lässt. + Bei diesem Gerät handelt es sich um eine echte Eiswürfel-Maschine welche tatsächlich Eiswürfel, wie man es von früher kennt, herstellt. Es sind keine "Hütchen" wie sie die meisten anderen Geräte auf dem Markt für den Hausgebrauch produzieren. Eine solche Hütchen-Maschine hatte ich vorher, daher habe ich einen recht guten Vergleich. + Ich benutze abgekochtes Osmose-Wasser, normales Leitungswasser geht natürlich auch, um dieses Gerät zu betreiben. Ohne wenn und aber - die Eiswürfel sind viereckig, durchsichtig und glasklar. Absolut top ! Sie sind sogar dermaßen durchsichtig, dass ich beim ersten Durchgang dachte die Maschine würde nicht funktionieren da man lediglich das Wasser laufen sieht aber eben kein Eis. "Plötzlich" hörte man dann aber wie das Eis in den Behälter aus Plastik fällt. Ein Durchgang dauert ca. 20 Minuten. + Dieses Geräusch wäre bisher mein einziger Kritikpunkt. Es ist relativ laut und ich dachte im ersten Moment es wäre etwas auf den Boden gefallen. Sicherlich gewöhnt man sich recht schnell daran. + Die Eiswürfel liegen im fertigen Zustand als Riegel (3 x 8 = 24 Würfel) in der Auffangschale. Das sieht ähnlich aus wie eine Tafel Schokolade, bei der man die einzelnen Stücke brechen kann. Ein Riegel ist ca. 18,5 cm x 8 cm, die Eiswürfel (einzeln) sind ca. 2,3 cm x 2,3 cm groß. + Des einen Leid ist des anderen Freud. In US amerikanischen Foren gab es Beschwerden, dass die Eiswürfel nicht komplett in einzelne Würfel zerfallen. Ich empfinde gerade das hingegen als Vorteil. Auf diese Weise kann ich die Riegel bequem in eine andere Schale umfüllen/legen und im Gefrierfach auf eine entsprechend niedrige Temperatur herunterkühlen ohne das diese zusammenkleben. Bei mir zum Beispiel auf minus 35 Grad. Lässt man sie in der Maschine liegen haben sie lediglich eine Temperatur von wenigen Grad Celsius unter Null. Ausreichend für die meisten Anwendungen. Sekt-Kübel oder das Glas Cola, etc. Sie werden jedoch nicht mehr aktiv gekühlt, beginnen zu schmelzen und anschließend wieder zu neuen Eiswürfeln recycelt. + Die Eiswürfel brechen bei tiefen übrigens Temperaturen sogar noch einfacher in einzelne Würfel und kleben auch nicht zusammen bzw. lassen sich leicht zerstoßen damit man sie einzeln in ein Glas füllen kann. + Gebrauchsanweisung ist gut lesbar in gutem Deutsch und Englisch. Lediglich der Unterschied zwischen Stand-by und Pause ist mir nicht ganz klar geworden. Und schade finde ich auch die fehlende Angabe zum Stromverbrauch. Diesen habe ich gemessen und komme auf einen Verbrauch zwischen 100 Watt und 115 Watt. Im Stand-by auf ca. 0,5 Watt. Die Reinigung ist angenehmer als bei den Hütchen-Maschinen, da alle relevanten Stellen leichter zu erreichen sind. Der Wasserbehälter ist sogar abnehmbar. Es existiert auch keine Mechanik die sich verklemmen oder haken könnte. Fazit: Die Hütchen-Maschinen erfüllen auch ihren Zweck, produzieren jedoch kein klares Eis und trotz einheitlicher Technik liegt die Preisspanne im ähnlichen Bereich. Beginnend bei ca. 90 Euro bis 250 Euro. Diese Maschine liegt mit den ca. 160 Euro im guten Mittelfeld. Haltbarkeit und ein Langzeittest stehen noch aus, aber bisher bin ich absolut zufrieden. Preis Leistung sind meines Erachtens angemessen. Eine günstige Alternative zum US Amerikanischen Kühlschrank mit Eiswürfel-bereiter. Ich könnte mir vorstellen, dass, wenn die Haltbarkeit gegeben ist, diese Clear-Ice-Maschine die Hütchen-Maschinen recht bald vom Markt verdrängen wird. Es gibt nur ganz wenige Kritikpunkte ( Bedienungsanleitung und Geräusch). Diese sind aber nur marginal und daher gebe ich trotzdem volle 5 Sterne. Von mir eine klare Kaufempfehlung. The machine works almost silently, except for the ice that is missing from the bowl. Unfortunately, the water pump is now making an enormous noise after just one week. As far as I know, there is currently no other supplier than the Berlin company Klarstein, which has this new type of ice cream machine sent via Amazon. + This device is a real ice cube machine which actually produces ice cubes as we know it from the past. They are not "thick cones" like most other devices on the market produce for home use. I had such a cone machine before, so I have a pretty good comparison. + I use boiled osmosis water, normal tap water is of course also possible to operate this device. No ifs and buts - the ice cubes are square, transparent and crystal clear. Absolutely great! They are even so transparent that I thought the machine wouldn't work the first time I tried it because you could only see the water running but no ice. "Suddenly" you heard the ice fall into the plastic container. One round takes about 20 minutes. + This noise would be my only point of criticism so far. It's relatively loud and at first I thought something had fallen on the floor. Of course you get used to it pretty quickly. + When finished, the ice cubes are in the form of bars (3 x 8 = 24 cubes) in the drip tray. This looks similar to a bar of chocolate where you can break the individual pieces. A bar is approx. 18.5 cm x 8 cm, the ice cubes (individually) are approx. 2.3 cm x 2.3 cm. + One's sorrow is another's joy. There have been complaints on US forums that the ice cubes don't completely break up into individual cubes. I see that as an advantage. In this way, I can easily decant/put the bars into another bowl and cool them down in the freezer to a correspondingly low temperature without them sticking together. For me, for example, to minus 35 degrees. If you leave them in the machine, they only have a temperature of a few degrees Celsius below zero. Sufficient for most applications.
