Big problem: this device quickly became unusable because the container-bowl was scratched despite all my precautions and the use of a non-aggressive spatula, but there are no spare parts, both at Klarstein and at other retailers. So the device is good to throw away while the turbine is in perfect condition, big mess!!!

Die Maschine tut was sie soll. Macht leckeres cremiges Eis.

The machine does what it should. Makes delicious creamy ice cream. High-quality material and very good workmanship. It's quite loud, but I can't compare it to other machines. After 30 minutes of stirring, she is quiet and cools the ice cream for another half hour.

TOP !

I have had this ice cream maker for 3 weeks and have already made ice cream with it about 10 times. With the right recipe you get results "like from the ice cream parlour", i.e. by "stirring/scraping/cooling" so much air is stirred into the ice cream mass that a really delicious ice cream is created. Value for money: I got it from Amazon for €142, which was an absolute bargain. Compared to my previous ice maker (with bin pre-cooling in the freezer), it's really worth every penny. TOP !

I'm not really that much of an ice cream eater, I gave it to my husband for his birthday, the first ice cream was yoghurt ice cream, it was very tasty, after half an hour the ice cream was perfect, I can only recommend it

First of all, the ice machine does what it is supposed to. You can find some recipes online that taste really good and can also be done with the ice cream maker. However, the motor is a bit weak, if I were to buy another machine I would definitely not go for anything under 200 watts, preferably 250+ watts. And then getting the ice out of the bucket in places is torture. The design in that respect is really terrible. The rod in the middle could have been solved differently. Especially when you consider that the ice cream likes to freeze to the mixer. On top of that, it's really loud and a recipe book couldn't have hurt. Maybe suggestions for experimenting yourself. Which home remedies are good as a binding agent so that the ice cream remains creamy, etc. That's why I only give it 3 stars.

This ice cream machine is really great, the noise level could be a little quieter, but whatever. It's just a pity that there are no recipes with the machine. So look for recipe suggestions on the internet. Otherwise value for money is OK

E. ihren Preis absolut wert. 100% Kaufempfehlung. Joghurt mache ich morgen, muss erst Milch kaufen.

I'm just happy: add the ingredients, let them work, after 45 minutes about 400 ml of delicious ice cream. This is exactly what I imagined! The machine runs quietly and evenly, can be operated intuitively and, in my opinion, is absolutely worth its price. 100% buy recommendation. I'll make yoghurt tomorrow, I have to buy milk first.

So far I've been very satisfied with both making yoghurt and preparing ice cream. Ice cream preparation is really fast, even without pre-chilled ingredients. It's a pity that no ice cream recipes are included, but could be included as a small addition in the instructions for use.

The best buy for us. Have tried ice cream like yoghurt and won't buy anything ready made. Clear recommendation to buy

Klarstein Yo&Yummy..... Sehr zu empfehlen .

The machine is easy to use and above all easy to clean. The noise level is not too loud, you can hear the agitator, the compressor is quiet, but 4 stars. The ice cream has a good creamy consistency, depending on the ice cream, yoghurt ice cream works very well for me. Very good for lactose-free and low-sugar food. Had previously the snowflake, also a great machine but too small for us, gave it away to a single household. Klarstein Yo&Yummy..... Highly recommended.

If you disregard the missing accessories (without measuring cup, spoon and operating instructions), the ice cream maker is fine (so far) it is a pity that the Klarstein company referred Amazon to Amazon after I complained and Amazon referred it to Klarstein, but I was offered a return , but I didn't want to lug the heavy debris to the post office, so I kept the device that was delivered and put it to use. So far I have prepared ice cream with yoghurt/cream and grated chocolate as well as the yoghurt cream mixture with fruits (peaches), after about half an hour the ice cream is ready and the consistency was great and also very tasty. The device is quite large and it has a permanent place in our kitchen. Cleaning was uncomplicated, but a lot of ice sticks to the agitator, which you always have to wipe off, but works very well. Despite the lack of an instruction manual, I got it straight away.

Also das Gerät funktioniert.

The machine works fine. I like frozen yogurt. 500g of yoghurt are stirred into ice cream in about 32 minutes. You can use natural yoghurt with any ingredients you like, or ready-mixed vanilla or fruit yoghurt. With this machine you can also make your own yoghurt, from 150g natural yoghurt to 1l milk. You can also make delicious ice cream with milk and cream. The technology of the device is very reliable. It is important to fill the container to a maximum of 60%. Says the manufacturer. I'm sticking with it. The temperature of the motor is monitored (as is usual with such devices). If the ice cream mass becomes too firm and the stirrer turns too difficult or not at all, the motor is switched off. Works perfectly. Nothing gets overloaded. I don't leave the machine running unattended anyway, and turn it off as soon as the agitator starts to run laboriously or irregularly. Next time, set the timer a little shorter. There is no use trying to make the ice as hard as possible. It's better to leave it a little softer, like soft ice cream. You can get it a little firmer in the freezer. The machine will continue to cool for a while if stopped by the timer or by the safety circuit. So the device works. I enjoy it very much. There is now a second machine at work so that the ice-free time doesn't get too long.

The machine arrived well packaged. Also the delivery service from Amazon Note 1+. Device works perfectly, is quite quiet and does its job. A small shortcoming, however, should be mentioned: a small recipe booklet would be nice and helpful. Otherwise, I can highly recommend the ice cream machine from Klarstein.

Volle Kaufempfehlung!

The ice cream machine cools very well and the preparation of ice cream only takes about 20 minutes. The additional functions such as only cooling, only mixing and heating for yoghurt preparation enable versatile use and the noise level is not disturbing. Cleaning is made a little more difficult by the fixed stirring axis, but is still done quickly. The agitator motor could be a bit more powerful. However, it cannot break because a well-functioning overload protection protects against blocking. Full buy recommendation!

I have had a small ice cream maker with thermoelectrics for 2 years, which works well, but only allows about 400ml raw mass, takes a long time and also has a weak stirrer. Nevertheless, I have prepared ice cream many times with this machine and this year I wanted more... I read for a long time and then settled on a machine for around 1.5 liters of finished ice cream mass. In addition, the machine should not have an overhead motor, as none of them seem to have particularly high torque. For me it became the Unold 48893 Limited. The 5 year warranty was important to me as every now and then compressor units tend to lose refrigerant through micro leaks over a period of time. Since this is often the case after 2-3 years, you are on the safe side with 5 years. Because if the device is still cooling well after 3 years, the chance of coolant being lost is very small. My mother was so enthusiastic about the Limited that she also wanted one of these devices. First I bought an Unold 48818, but it broke after a short time. So I wanted to buy another 48893, but it wasn't cheap anymore. So I read a lot again and ended up at SK-Emma. I also noticed the Klarstein Yo & Yummy with the same design as the Emma and it even has a yoghurt function. So I ordered the Klarstein. Unfortunately, the first device was defective, transport damage. The device literally jumped over the worktop as soon as the compressor started. Fortunately, the second device is now completely ok. Delivery: The device is delivered in the original packaging, which consists of the device box plus outer carton. In my opinion, there is not enough padding for a compressor device, and there is also no clear indication that the device should be transported in an upright position. So here the chance of getting a device with transport-related compressor damage is unfortunately higher than necessary. Luckily my two Unold devices had no transport damage, neither did the second Yo & Yummy. With the chillers using R600a as the refrigerant, you no longer have to leave the unit upright for long periods of time. 2 hours is enough here. If the device vibrates heavily, waiting longer won't help. In this case, the motor in the compressor has seized up and the compressor is irreparably defective. Feel: All devices (Unold and Klarstein) make a high-quality impression at first glance. The stainless steel dress is clean and processed without dents, as is the top and the display as well as the push buttons and the rotary knob. Unfortunately, all devices only have 2 non-slip feet on the underside, regardless of whether they are Klarstein or Unold. The other two feet are made entirely of hard plastic. On the underside there is a maintenance hatch for the motor gearbox. This is attached by 4 small screws. I opened the flap on all devices to check the condition of the gearbox. There was enough grease on the Unold machines and didn't need touching up! On the Yo & Yummy, the grease was left out on a pair of gears. I corrected that with the usual silicone grease. I advise everyone here to check this. It would be a pity if the durability of the machine was limited by this error. The construction of the gearbox seems a little better thought out on the Yo & Yummy. But that can be deceiving. However, the ice container differs completely between the devices. The Unold has a holder for the stirring rod in the bottom. This spigot is only a few centimeters long and the stirring rod is simply attached. This is centered at the top by the cover. This construction has a disadvantage. When the ice cream mass hardens, the stirring rod is pushed upwards and no longer scrapes the bottom. The container is easy to clean and the ice can be easily removed from the container. The Klastein has a tube in the middle of the ice container. The shaft in the machine, on which the stirring rod is placed, runs through this tube. This has the advantage that the stirring rod is perfectly centered and cannot be pushed upwards during operation. On the other hand, the container is difficult to clean and the ice can only be scraped out of the container with a rubber spatula. The internal structure of the chiller and its quality is absolutely exemplary for both devices, despite "made in China"! Test operation without ice mass: The Unold reaches a final temperature of around -35 degrees after around 20-30 minutes without ice mass. The Klarstein manages a maximum of -30 degrees here. The difference comes from the use of different compressors. The Unold has installed a Hangzhou QD75, the Klarstein a Hangzhou QD65Y. The QD75Y has around 15% more cooling capacity. But that doesn't make a difference when it comes to ice cream production! Despite the higher temperature, the uniformity of the Klarstein machine is significantly better. Ice Cream Making: I have found after many trials that the recipe is the most important factor in ice cream making. You shouldn't use more than 750ml raw mass, otherwise it can be pushed up during production and mess up the machine. This happens very often with the approximately 1000ml raw mass. However, the final strength and expansion depend almost exclusively on the recipe. Here you have to try something to get the best results. With a little practice, the device is very suitable and works without any problems. If you have the problem with the Unold device that the stirring rod is pushed upwards, you can slide one or two silicone sealing rings onto the spigot at the top of the stirring rod, which goes into the socket in the lid. This avoids that. The Yo & Yummy does not have this problem. The biggest difference between the devices is the rotation speed of the stirring rod. The Klarstein stirs about 3 times faster than the Unold devices. I didn't think it would make a difference, but it does! Due to the higher speed of the Yo & Yummy, significantly more air is transported into the ice cream mass and the ice cream becomes significantly creamier and lighter! The ice mass has no time to freeze to the edge of the container and remains in motion until the end. Since the engine of the Unold and Klarstein is identical, the higher speed results in less power. But that's not a problem. With the Unold, the stirring rod freezes earlier than with the Klarstein, despite significantly more power. Yoghurt function: The yoghurt function is only available on the Yo & Yummy. This works great. The container is not heated to the specified 42 degrees (that would also be too much), but actually reaches around 37 degrees. This temperature is precisely maintained by a thermostat for the selected time. It is also great that the device automatically switches to cooling mode after production until the yoghurt is removed. It is cooled to around 5 degrees. The function also works great for kefir, buttermilk or sour milk! Criticism: I would have liked more menu functions on both devices. A more flexible time setting and an adjustable temperature would be desirable and easy to implement. 4 non-slip feet would also be better than two. And then there is the matter of the stirring rod not being properly seated on the Unold devices, which has too much play in the lid and the stirring rod rotating too slowly. With the Yo & Yummy these problems do not exist. And even if the container is more difficult to clean, I find this solution much better. In addition, there is the great yoghurt function and an attractive price. Conclusion: The Yo & Yummy deserves a full 5 stars. It does a better job than the Unold machines, has an additional yoghurt function and is a lot cheaper too! However, the 5-year guarantee speaks for the Unold 48893. Everyone has to decide for themselves what is more important to them.

Sehr lecker. Ich werde keinen mehr kaufen. Alles in allem empfehlenswert. Das einzige i-tüpfelchen wäre die Beschreibung. Die ist sehr dürftig. Da könnte etwas gebessert werden. Aber ansonsten alles o.k.

I ordered the ice cream machine because I want to make my own ice cream - without chemicals -. The machine fully meets my expectations, the ice cream turns out very well. The machine takes 50 minutes to finish. No problem if you know when you want to eat the ice cream. It's a bit noisy, but acceptable. I also made yoghurt with the machine. Delicious. I won't buy any more. All in all recommendable. The only icing on the cake would be the description. It's very poor. Something could be improved there. But otherwise everything ok

I recently purchased this ice cream maker. Have used it twice since then. I have absolutely no complaints about the functioning of this machine and the result (ice cream) it makes to my complete satisfaction. However, there is one small detail on this machine that really annoys me and initially even made me think about sending this machine back and exchanging it for the Snowberry & Choc. In the end, however, that wasn't really an option because I didn't want to forego the ingenious possibility of being able to make yoghurt as well. The annoyance I mentioned concerns the tank of the machine. With a volume of 1.5 l, it is of course not too large, but if this volume is then "restricted" by a stick located in the middle of the container (which is also not removable or removable), then removing the finished ice cream becomes a absolutely fiddly nerve thing. In other words, it just makes awfully awkward scooping the ice cream out of the container because that stick is in the way. So you have hardly any freedom of movement inside the container. What surprises me is that this is not the case with Snowberry & Choc. That is a sign that there is another way to solve the problem. Which "tinkerer" at Klarstein made the ice cream container of the Yo & Yummy so poorly improved??? I'm hoping for a statement from the manufacturer on this review, as well as a possible solution without having to exchange the entire machine (e.g. making a different container available).

The clear advantage of this ice cream machine is that you can make and customize your own ice cream flavors. The ice cream can be prepared within 40 - 60 minutes, only removing it from the container is a tricky matter, especially since the container is very cold and a lot of ice cream sticks to the stirrer, which first has to be laboriously scraped off. However, the ice cream is relatively creamy, which is a significant difference to the original from the Italians.
